AbstractCardiovascular diseases are considered as the leading cause of death and almost 80% of deaths from this disease are developed in poor and less developed countries where early detection facilities are less available, along with overlooking the importance of screening. In other words, real-time monitoring of the physiological signals using flexible and wearable biosensors plays an important role in human life style. Thus, the present study aims to propose two dimensional flexible and wearable gold covered plasmonic samples as a physiological signal recorder, in which chips with nano array of resonant nanowire patterns performing in an integrated platform of plasmonic devices. The produced surface plasmon waves in our main chip were paired with an electric wave from the heart pulse and it use for recording and detecting the heartbeat of a toad with high accuracy. This measurement was performed in normal state and under external laser heating process to check the ability of signal recording and also thermoplasmonic effect onto the toad's heart signal. Our results show that our sensor was enough sensitive for detection while raising the body temperature of the toad and changing its heart rate as flatting T and P waves by thermoplasmonic effect.

Electrical research in geology is used quite widely and with great efficiency. The use of ready-made signal recorders for these purposes is possible, but not effective enough, since in any case, they need to be modified to provide additional functions. Such functions include the synchronization of measurements with signals from positioning systems GPS or GLONASS. This synchronization is necessary in order for the measurement results to be linked to actual space and time coordinates as accurately as possible. The same measurements taken at different times may give different results due to changes in the orientation of the Earth relative to the Sun and Moon, as well as for other uncontrollable reasons. The need to accurately determine the coordinates of the measurement is obvious. The creative team of the commonwealth of organizations, the key of which is the Siberian Branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science of the Federal Research Center “Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences”, carried out the development and initial testing of a specialized signal recorder for electrical research. The additional modification was required to eliminate the identified deficiencies. This paper reports the main technical solutions when creating this recorder, describes the modification ,and gives an example of using this recorder for field measurements.

AbstractSensors, biosensors, lateral flow immunoassays, portable thin-layer chromatography and similar devices for hand-held assay are tools suitable for field or out of laboratories assays of various analytes. The assays frequently exert a limit of detection and sensitivity close to more expensive and elaborative analytical methods. In recent years, huge progress has been made in the field of optical instruments where digital cameras or light sensitive chips serve for the measurement of color density. General availability of cameras, a decrease of prices and their integration into wide spectrum phones, tablets and computers give the promise of easy application of analytical methods where such cameras will be employed. This review summarizes research on hand-held assays where small cameras like the ones integrated into smartphones are used. Discussion about such assays, their practical applicability and relevant specifications are also written here.

Abstract The article presents the analyses of the flights carried out the by the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) named PW-ZOOM used to perform a photogrammetric mission and monitoring of fauna in Antarctic areas. The analyses focus on the deviations of the optical axis of the photo-camera which occurred during photogrammetric flights carried out on the same route but during several Antarctic expeditions performed in subsequent years (2014 and 2015). The results were subjected to correlation tests with weather conditions (wind speed and variability). The basis for these analyses are the data from the onboard signal recorder integrated with an autopilot.
