Although animated characters are based on human features, these features are exaggerated. These exaggerations greatly differ by country, gender, and the character’s role in the story. This study investigated the characteristics of US and Japanese character designs and the similarities and differences or even the differences in exaggerations between them. In particular, these similarities and differences can be used to formulate a shared set of principles for US and Japanese animated character designs; 90 Japanese and 90 US cartoon characters were analyzed. Lengths for 20 parts of the body were obtained for prototypical real human bodies and animated characters from Japan and the United States. The distributions of lengths were determined, for all characters and for characters as segmented by country, gender, and the character’s role in the story. We also compared the body part lengths of animated characters and prototypical real human bodies, noting whether exaggerations were towards augmentation or diminishment. In addition, a decision tree classification method was used to determine the required body length parameters for identifying the classification conditions of animated characters by country, gender, and character’s role in the story. The results indicated that both US and Japanese male animated characters tend to feature exaggerations in head and body sizes, with exaggerations for US characters being more obvious. The decision tree only required five length parameters of the head and chest to distinguish between US and Japanese animated characters (accuracy = 94.48% and 67.46% for the training and testing groups, respectively). Through a decision tree method, this study quantitatively revealed the exaggeration patterns in animated characters and their differences by country, gender, and character’s role in the story. The results serve as a reference for designers and researchers of animated character model designs with regards to quantifying and classifying character exaggerations.

The article deals with the concepts and preventive value of the forensic characteristics of the personality of the offender. It is proved that the establishment in the process of investigation of the causes and conditions for the commission of criminal offenses is one of the most important areas for their prevention. The author claims that from a criminalistics point of view, the causes and conditions for committing crimes are divided into: a) circumstances related to the identity of the offender. Their attribution to the circumstances that contributed to the commission of the crime is due to the properties of the person guilty of the crime (unfavorable conditions for the formation of the person, the situation in the family, in the work collective, etc.) b) circumstances that exist independently of the person who committed the crime. Their attribution to the circumstances that contributed to the commission of the crime is inseparably connected with the establishment of the circumstances of the crime (flaws in the protection of property, proper accounting of inventory, etc.) If the second group of circumstances is objectively existing, then the first is closely related to the personality of the offender. Given the above, the article notes the importance for solving the tasks of forensic prevention of investigating the identity of the offender within the forensic characteristics of a particular criminal offense. The personality structure of the criminal in the article is considered as a system of relatively independent substructures of a social and psychological nature. The social substructure consists of the following elements: a person’s place in the system of social relations, his social roles, and areas of activity. It embraces its properties that reveal relationships in various areas of public life. The psychological properties in the structure of the suspect’s personality include: the orientation of the personality (its selective attitude to reality), which includes various mental properties, needs, interests, motives, feelings, likes and dislikes, ideals and worldview; human abilities, his mental capabilities; the dynamics of mental processes – temperament, character, style of behavior, in which the content and form of a person’s spiritual life is manifested, that is, a system of intellectual and emotional qualities; self-identity of the person exercising selfregulation; mental processes and conditions. The disclosure of precisely these elements in the structure of the criminal’s personality, in the opinion of the actor, allows us to solve the following problems: 1) the possible tactical impact on the suspect (accused), including with the aim of preventing him from committing crimes in the future 2) accumulation and analysis of forensic information on the circumstances that contributed to the commission of the crime.

Integrative-inclusive moral education can be interpreted as a formulation of a broad and holistic moral education process. Moral education materials can work together with all subjects, school culture, extracurricular activities, and even with the community. It is said that the integrative scientific structure does not mean that the various sciences are merged into an identical form of science, but rather the character, style, and nature of the science are integrated in the unity of the spiritual material dimensions, revelation, secularl-religion, physical-spiritual, and the world hereafter. Integration requires the existence of a relationship or unification or synchronization or greet each other or alignment between each existing scientific fields. Each scientific field cannot stand alone, without greeting each other with other scientific fields. While inclusive education, is a matter relating to many aspects of human life based on the principles of equality, justice, and individual rights. So integrative-inclusive education means that an educational process must cover a broad and comprehensive scope. Integrative-inclusive moral education has a holistic scope. This study was conducted in response to the low capacity of the learners in implementing    theology and science. It is to be applied by learners in the school environment and the community in everyday life. Integrative education is an education that combines the truths of revelation with the evidence found in the universe. It said the structure of integrative science, the science merged into a science that is identical, such as character, style, nature. Between the sciences integrated in the unity of material-spiritual dimension, reason-revelation, general science-theology, physical-spiritual world and the hereafter. The design of the study is a qualitative approach and the method used is comparative studies. The data collection both qualitative and quantitative data that will be concluded. In order to know that students are able to apply theology and able to master science. Lately often expressed that the gist of science must be revised in order to reflect its essence and in its application does not lead to great sacrifice. The essence of which can be absorbed by the intellect (lustrous, conscience or subjective sense). Can coordinate all branches of science, that science does not lead to disaster, and that every branch of science that is not regarded as the most important. The goal is to be able to combine two things that is still treated as a dichotomous against both of which resulted in the separation of theology with science. Hence the need for habituation in everyday life. Habits that have been created by students in the school will enhance the theology and science can further improve the quality of students' personality.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to determine if the star power of an athletic endorser influenced consumers’ consumption of the advertised product. Specifically, does the amount of star power an athlete is thought to have impact consumers’ direct consumption of the advertised product and media consumption of the athlete? Moreover, the components of star power, along with congruency measures, were examined to determine which components of star power influenced both direct and media consumption. Design/methodology/approach Four advertisements were created that used an athlete with high star power and an athlete with low star power. Respondents viewed two of the advertisements, but did not know which athlete had high star power or low star power. They were asked to answer a questionnaire that contained questions pertaining to the components of star power (source attractiveness, source credibility, professional trustworthiness, likeable personality and character style), congruency of the athlete and product, direct consumption of the advertised product and media consumption of the athlete. Findings Results indicated that overall star power increased the direct consumption of the advertised product and the media consumption of the athlete, however not each component was found to be significant. Character style was the only component that was consistently significant across all four advertisements. The congruency between the athlete and product was also found to be significant across all four advertisements. Research limitations/implications First, this study only looked at two athletes; others may generate different results. Second, the products used in the study were fashion related; other categories of products may also generate different relationships. Third, only two brands were used. It was also assumed that the respondents knew the athlete in the advertisement. Finally, the questions used to measure direct consumption did not distinguish between buying the brand in the store or online. Originality/value This study has the potential to contribute theoretically by analyzing how and which components of star power affect consumption of endorsed products, as well as which components influence consumers. Moreover, adding a congruency measure will aide in strengthening the measurement of endorser effectiveness. The justification of the present study lies in the need to determine how the dimensions of star power an athlete possesses contribute to the consumption behaviors of consumers.
