This paper mainly discussed the problem of a multiechelon and multiperiod joint policy of inventory and supply network. According to the random lead time and customers’ inventory demand, the s , S policy was improved. Based on the multiechelon supply network and the improved, the dynasty joint model was built. The supply scheme in every period with the objective of minimum total costs is obtained. Considering the complexity of the model, the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm combining the adaptive inertia weight and grading penalty function is adopted to calculate this model and optimize the spare part problems in various environments.

In the modern industry, to reduce support pressure, a variety of suppliers have begun to use the same kind of units in many types of equipment. However, highly integrated equipment is more difficult to use in traditional reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) models, and researchers start steering based on the state monitoring method. This paper mainly discusses the remaining useful life (RUL) prediction method based on the Wiener process and introduces the improved condition-based maintenance policy. Combined with the (S-1, S) policy, the joint policy and the model considering the repairable policy are built for the multiunit system. Finally, the optional decision combination is obtained. Except that, the advantage of the joint optimization in a multiunit system and the characteristics of repairable policy in the joint model are analyzed.

PurposeQualitative methods are not suitable to process high volumes of policy texts for exploring policy evolution. Therefore, it is hard to use qualitative methods to systematically analyze the characteristics of complex policy networks. So the authors propose a bibliometric research study for exploring policy evolution from time–agency–theme perspectives to excavate the rules and existing problems of China's medical informatization policy and to provide suggestions for formulating and improving the future medical informatization policies.Design/methodology/approachInitially, 615 valid samples are obtained by retrieving related China's medical informatization policy documents, and the joint policy-making agency network and the co-occurrence network models of medical informatization policies are defined, and then the authors research China's medical informatization policies from single-dimension and multi-dimension view.FindingsThe analysis results reveal that China's medical informatization policy process can be divided into four stages; the policy-making agencies are divided into four subgroups by community detection analysis according to the fast unfolding algorithm; the core policy theme keywords are identified based on the eigenvector centrality of the nodes in those networks; the focuses of theme terms are varied in different stages and the correlations between agencies and themes are gradually decentralized.Practical implicationsThese findings provide experience and evidence on leveraging informatics in the medical and healthcare field of China. Also, they can help scholars and practitioners better understand the current status and future directions of medical and healthcare informatics development in China and provide a reference to formulate and improve China's future medical informatization policies.Originality/valueThis study proposes a quantitative bibliometric-based research framework to describe transitions and trends of China's medical informatization policy.

The object of study is the BRICS activities as a special format of multilateral interaction between states. We consider the theory of above-mentioned interaction and cooperation of countries, which are expressed in the implementation of a joint policy on a number of issues. The evolution of BRICS and its unification in the international legal space contributes to ob-servance of common interests and views of BRICS participants on the prob-lems of modern international relations, reflects the objective trends of world development and the formation of a multipolar system of international rela-tions, ensures the interests of individual major state actors in broad interna-tional integration. The relevance of the issues under study lies in the fact that individual features of the international legal status of BRICS are investigated, which make it possible to effectively influence the challenges of modern world. The legal status of BRICS is fundamentally different from traditional legal approaches to international organizations and acting as a special subject of world politics, creating the most trusting conditions for interaction, BRICS focuses on other principles of world order within the framework of a new model of global relations.

This article examines the current state and ways of development of the alliance of the United States of America and the Republic of Korea after the Joseph Biden administration came to power. During the summit held in Washington on May 21, 2021, the key positions of the two countries on the formation of a joint policy in the future were announced. There were areas and regions that had not previously appeared on the joint foreign policy agenda, which means fundamental changes in the understanding of the alliance’s future. Consequently, the author of the article analyzes the reasons why the Moon Jae-in administration could change its course in foreign policy, Washington's goals for reforming the alliance and the changes that the alliance of the United States and South Korea will undergo.

The Libyan crisis has been a litmus test for European unity and the EU’s ability to act together. Europe's relations with post-revolutionary Libya and European policies on Libya have been characterized by the frequently conflicting interests of Paris, London and Rome, with Berlin emerging as a result of a UN invitation to try and put an end to the instability in Libya. Until the January 2020 Berlin summit, European political and diplomatic interaction with Libya was the domain of EU Member States, with the EU being limited to performing the familiar functions of lending its administrative weight to joint policy roles such as countering migration, promoting business or supporting a developmental road towards stability. All in all, EU strategy remains committed to decision-making mechanisms at Member State level; however, what is exposed in Libya is that the EU toolbox can be a valuable weapon if Europe has a coherent stance. A continuing struggle between member states over how to handle the new world that is emerging in the wake of the Pax Americana is also exposed in European policy on Libya.

Health and risk management of personnel in hot climates remains a Commander’s responsibility, with Joint Service Publication 539 Heat Illness and Cold Injury: Prevention and Management (JSP 539) being the guiding document for the UK military. This policy can be challenging to interpret occasionally, needing medical professionals to provide ongoing advice to commanders. This is to achieve a shared understanding of scientific concepts and risks to allow a more informed decision-making by commanders. This then leads to the appropriate mitigation of risks to as low as reasonably practical. Exercise SAIF SAREEA 3 saw commanders and medical cooperation at all levels with a practical and pragmatic application of the principles articulated in joint policy. The elements which saw enhanced cooperation included pathophysiology, work rates and work:rest ratios, rest and sleep periods, uniform, acclimatisation, and hydration and electrolyte balance. This approach was exhibited throughout the planning, deployment and execution of Exercise SAIF SAREEA 3, which saw extremely low levels of heat injury throughout the exercise when compared with SAIF SAREEA 2 and related exercises. This personal view aims to describe the command and medical interaction on SAIF SAREEA 3 which the authors feel contributed to those successes against climatic effects.
