Enhanced optical properties of perovskite thin film through material optimization for photovoltaic application

The optical performance of the perovskite materials is enhanced through material optimization. This work seeks to establish the role of antisolvent and additive with new material composition on light absorption property. Due to this composition we extended the wavelengths to near Infrared range which is a suitable property for photovoltaic device. From the features of the film, optical parameters, together with anti-stoke shift and dielectric constant were calculated using Cauchy dispersion formalism. Based on our results, dielectric constant which is considered as a design parameter for photovoltaic cell and an unusual anti-stoke shift were observed. In sum, the optical properties are tied to material composition, morphology and technique used.

Property Price Attributable to Subdivision Neighbourhood Designs: Hedonic Pricing Model Approach in Bangkok Metropolitan Region, Thailand

The purpose of this paper is to determine whether the property price is caused by the subdivision neighbourhood designs in the Bangkok Metropolitan Region (BMR), Thailand. A total price model is developed during the analysis process. The model provides a greater understanding of the significance of the subdivision neighbourhood designs that are related to property pricing. This paper is based on data collection from 50 subdivisions across the BMR area. The hedonic pricing approach is used to develop the models. The semi-log models are developed on 1,182 samples of property sales located in eight zones of the BMR. The independent variables include general bundles of property characteristics and the subdivision neighbourhood design items. There are two major findings in this study. First, this study provides a suitable property price model for subdivision development in the BMR. The model presents the high level of R2 at 0.948. The model confirms that all classical hedonic variables are statistically significant to the property price. Furthermore, the additional alternative variables for the subdivision neighbourhood design items can improve the level of variation explained by the model. Second, this study finds that the average property price attributable to the subdivision neighbourhood design is about 20.24 % of the total property price. The components of the subdivision neighbourhood design items consist of project characteristics, recreation features, social facilities, and transportation system design. The model should support knowledge of the design’s impact on the property price for the Government or policy makers on making appropriate policies for urban and environmental management. The model provides a guideline for developers on appropriate property selling-prices for subdivision development in the BMR. The new understanding of the property price attributable to the subdivision neighbourhood designs support suitable decision making on new subdivision development in the BMR

Multi-Agent System for Supporting and Managing Real Estate Marketing

Recently there have been major changes in the real estate market, where everyone is investing in sell or buy properties, which meet their needs and suit their pockets. In this paper, a multi-agent system for real estate marketing where considered. The proposed system provides the clients with an easy and practical solution through advertising their property and searches for a buyer or seller on behalf of them. And The system makes use of agent’s technology as its core function for locating a suitable property among hundreds or even thousands of the offers. The proposed system provides clients with an Android mobile app developed using Java which works as an agent for establishing a communication with the other agents located on a server. On the server, there are many agents that work together to fulfill the main goal like sell agent, buy agent, and others, using the Symfony PHP framework. The SUS results confirmed that the rate of overall satisfaction was high nearly 76.66%, which is above average and highly acceptable.

Adverbial and attributive modification of Persian separable light verb constructions

Persian makes extensive use of light verb constructions (LVCs) consisting of a non-verbal preverb and a semantically light verbal element. The current paper concentrates on LVCs with nominal preverbs (e.g. sedâ dâdan ‘produce a sound’, lit. ‘sound give’) which license an attributively used adjective intervening between the two components of the construction. Such LVCs are idiomatically combining expressions, in the sense of Nunberg, Sag & Wasow (1994: 496). The individual components of idiomatically combining expressions have an identifiable meaning and combine in a non-arbitrary way. Thus, they are conceived as being formed compositionally. Evidence for this view can be taken from the fact that the attributively used adjectives function as internal modifiers, targeting only the nominal component of the LVC.As adjectives can also be used adverbially, two modification patterns emerge: The nominal preverb is modified by an attributive modifier, or the same adjective can be used as an adverbial modifier of the whole LVC. Two corresponding interpretation patterns arise: Attributive and adverbial modification either both result in the same, or in different interpretations.The paper makes the following claims: First, only compositionally derived LVCs license attributive modification of their nominal preverb; and second, different interpretations of the two modification patterns only result if the light verb and the preverb each license a suitable property as a target for the modifier. If, on the other hand, such a property is only licensed by the preverb, adverbial and attributive modification result in the same interpretation.

Adulticidal and repellent properties of indigenous plant extracts against Larvae of mosquito: A Review

One method of prevention of mosquito borne diseases is the reduction of the mosquito population in the various stages of development, such as the use of ovicidal, larvicidal, pupicidal, adulticidal, and mosquitocidal substances. The application of chemical insecticides in mosquito control has resulted in the persistence and accumulation of non-biodegradable chemicals in the ecosystem, biological magnification through the food chain, insecticide resistance, and a toxic effect in human health and non-target organisms. Many studies on plant extracts against the mosquito population have been conducted around the world. The plant-mediated repellents are advantageous over chemical and physical methods, since it is cheap, single-step, and does not require high pressure, energy, temperature, or the use of highly toxic chemicals. In the latest years, a growing number of plant-borne compounds have been proposed for efficient and rapid extracellular synthesis of metal nanoparticles effective against mosquitoes at very low doses. The present study reveals that the aqueous extract of this leaf has a suitable property for a larvicidal natural product and may replace harmful chemical pesticides.

Periodic Points and Chaotic-Like Dynamics of Planar Maps Associated to Nonlinear Hill's Equations with Indefinite Weight

We prove some results about the existence of fixed points, periodic points and chaotic-like dynamics for a class of planar maps which satisfy a suitable property of “arc expansion” type. We also outline some applications to the nonlinear Hill's equations with indefinite weight.
