Standards for designing a program for conceptual maps based on integrated learning in developing jurisprudential concepts for Non-Native Arabic learners; from the point of view of instructors: معايير تصميم برنامج خرائط المفاهيم القائمة على التعلم المدمج في تنمية المفاهيم الفقهية لمتعلمي العربية من الناطقين بغيرها من وجهة نظر معلميهم

This research aims to present the necessary concepts of jurisprudence and to prepare standards for electronic concept maps based on integrated learning in the development of jurisprudential concepts. To achieve these aims, the researcher prepared a list of the necessary jurisprudential concepts, and a list of standards for the electronic concept maps program based on integrated learning in the development of jurisprudential concepts. The research used the descriptive approach, and it has reached the following results: A list of jurisprudential concepts, which included the field of Umrah and Hajj, and it contained (8) main concepts, from which (34) sub-concepts emerged, (5) main standards, and from them (33) sub-indicators emerged from the electronic concept maps program based on integrated learning in the development of jurisprudential concepts for Non-Native Arabic learners. In light of the results reached, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions.

The effectiveness of concept maps based on blended learning in developing the jurisprudential concepts of Non-Native Arabic Learners (NNAL): فاعلية خرائط المفاهيم القائمة على التعلم المدمج في تنمية المفاهيم الفقهية لمتعلمي العربية من الناطقين بغيرها

The aim of the current research is to develop the proposed program in the electronic concept maps based on integrated learning in the development of jurisprudential concepts, and to define the effectiveness of such program for the Non-Native Arabic learners at level three (intermediate). To achieve these aims the researcher prepared a teacher's guide, a student’s book, and a test of jurisprudential concepts for Non-Native Arabic learners. The research model consisted of (21) students, who were selected randomly, and it used the descriptive approach and the quasi-experimental approach, and applied the quasi-experimental design based on one group. The research concluded the following results: A proposed program in the concept maps based on integrated learning in developing jurisprudential concepts for Non-Native Arabic learners, including a teacher's guide and a student book. After completing the experiment, a statistically significant difference was reached, at a level of significance (0.05) between the medium scores of the learners in the two applications: the pre and post. The overall result of the test favoured the post application, and thus, confirms the effectiveness of using the concept maps based on integrated learning in the development of jurisprudential concepts for Non-Native Arabic learners in general, and in light of the results reached, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and suggestions.

The use of electronic concept mapping technology to facilitate understanding of the grammatical rules of tenth-grade students in Jordan: استخدام تقنية خرائط المفاهيم الإلكترونية في تيسير فهم القواعد النحوية لدى طالبات الصف العاشر الأساسي في الأردن

This study aimed to reveal the impact of the use of conceptual maps in facilitating the understanding of the grammatical rules among tenth basic students in the Juwaida Secondary Comprehensive School for Girls in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and in order to achieve this goal the study was applied to two groups: the control group and its number (30 students) and experimental And its number is (30 students), and the pre- test was applied to both groups, and after reassuring the application of the test in the same way, grammatical rules designed on the electronic conceptual mapping strategy were provided with the experimental group, and the traditional method of indoctrination of grammatical rules with the control group was made, and the difference appeared in understanding Those rules between students of the two groups; The results of the study showed that there is a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups, and the difference is attributed to the use of electronic concept maps in the teaching of members of the experimental group, and the study recommends the need to use electronic concepts maps to explain the Arabic grammar for tenth grade students.

The impact of the use of electronic concept maps in understanding grammatical rules: أثر استخدام خرائط المفاهيم الإلكترونية في فهم القواعد النحوية

The study aimed at uncovering the effect of the use of electronic concept maps in understanding grammatical rules of students of Qassim colleges in Saudi Arabia. For this purpose, the researcher prepared the grammatical rules using the electronic concept maps and used the descriptive method. (30 female students) and experimental group (30 female students), and applied the tribal test to both groups, and after reassurance in the same way, experimental treatment was provided using grammatical rules designed with e-concept maps with experimental group students, and grammatical rules were introduced in the usual way for control group students. E-concept maps explain grammar rules to students in the control group. The study recommends the use of electronic concept maps to explain grammatical rules.

Development of Advanced Electronic Textbooks Based on Local Wisdom

This study aims to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of advanced electronic textbooks based on local wisdom. This research is a development research that uses 4-D (Four-D Models) which consists of four stages, namely: defining, designing (designing), developing, and disseminate. The sample used was 68 students with the design of one group pretest posttest. Advanced electronic textbooks based on local wisdom were developed and then validated by 2 material experts and 2 media experts to find out the feasibility of the product. The results showed that the assessment of the feasibility of advanced electronic textbooks based on local wisdom by material and media experts obtained an average score of 81 and 83 with very decent criteria. The effectiveness of local wisdom based teaching textbooks was tested using paired sample t test. The results show that there is the influence of the use of advanced electronic teaching based on local wisdom on the learning process of physics. The N-Gain score shows a percentage of 80% (in the effective category). The local wisdom based textbook which is the source of learning is the "Digulis Roundabout" originating from the city of Pontianak, West Kalimantan, which is viewed from the advanced electronic concept. Student responses to the media developed showed an average score of 82% with a very good category.

A Design of Multichannel Data Transmission Through Power Line Communication

Smart Metering in the power grid is the present popular technology in and around the world. Future Generation is requiring new method for data transfer. This paper introduces a novel method called Power Line Communication (PLC) transceivers. PLC has many number of smart grid applications. This work proposes mainly about the transmission of data’s through Power Line. This work includes both electrical and electronic concept. Here, transmission process takes place through electrical line by using electronic equipment. This paperaddresses the important role of transferring data’s from one place to other. In this concept, dc loads are controlled by giving commands through power line. This work does not require additional medium for transmitting data’s. This paper reduces the human efforts and systematic transmission takes place. In this work, data transmission through power line communication takes place by passing constant 5v. Hence fluctuations are avoided in PLC transceivers, this protects the electronic device and dc load from damage. Here the dc loads are operated by giving ON and OFF commands. These commands can be coded in binary form or it can also be variables. Voltage sensors are used for sensing the current at the receiver (dc loads). The current which is sensed by the sensors are stored by using batteries. These currents can be retrieved for future use. This paperprovides advancement in data transmission process for future generation.

Hydrogen Brittleness of Austenitic Steels

The electronic concept for hydrogen embrittlement (HE) of austenitic steels is developed based on the hydrogen-caused increase of the concentration of free (i.e. conduction) electrons. It is shown that, as consequence, the shear module locally decreases, which in turn leads to the decrease in the stress for activation of dislocation sources, the line tension of dislocations, the distance between the dislocations in pileups and, in consistency with the theory of hydrogen-enhanced localized plasticity (HELP), promotes the reversible hydrogen brittleness. The analysis of the electronic and elasticity approaches to HELP is carried out using the experimental data. The effect of alloying elements on the mechanical properties is studied and a concept for design of hydrogen-resistant austenitic steels is proposed.

Concept Mapping as a Mediator of Constructivist Learning

This chapter on electronic concept mapping introduces a specific example of a learning technology that has potential for serving and promoting an emerging set of identified literacies in today’s youth. The chapter begins with a discussion of the nature of the modern student and the literacies that are most likely to serve them well as they integrate into an increasingly technological information-based society. A discussion of the historical development of the concept map and its defining characteristics will follow. The range of applications of concept maps in K-12 classrooms will then be discussed with additional comments regarding teacher development both in preservice and inservice settings. The chapter will close with a discussion of the particular literacies served by electronic concept mapping.
