Hybrid sleeve bearing is widely used in high speed principal axis system. Numerical analysis on a spiral oil wedges hybrid sleeve bearing of high speed principal axis is investigated in this paper. The finite differential equations of Reynolds, film thickness and velocity in an oblique coordinate system are obtained. By means of the finite differential method, loading capacity, pressure distribution, and stream of lubricating oil of the hybrid sleeve bearing are computed and analyzed. The results show that spiral oil wedges can produce the flow separation between hot oil and cold oil, and avoid the oil heated repeatedly. With the increase of eccentricity and decrease of spiral angle, the loading capacity of the bearing increases.

Crooked shaft grinder is the key machining equipment of engine Crooked shaft, as the principal axis system of grinder head failure occasionally, it influences the cutting precision greatly. So it has significance to research on failure diagnosis method for engine crooked shaft grinding equipment. The method, which diagnoses the causes and degree of failure, based on fuzzy logic and recognition theory is presented for the principal axis system of crooked shaft grinder. The mathematics model of fuzzy recognition and the conditional distribution function of fuzzy relationship between failure and symptom are given and the method of determining the function is simple and practicable. The method that is got through fuzzy reasoning and fuzzy recognition can be used not only to diagnose failure cause but also to determine failure level. The vibratory diagnosis for the principal axis system of crooked shaft grinder shows that it possessed a good rationality as well as availability.

Abstract Powder samples of YBa2Cu3O7-δ a were oriented by mechanically vibrating the powder at 2.4 K in a magnetic field of 1.2 T. Zeeman split NQR spectra of 63,65 Cu were obtained for the two different Cu sites. The data confirm the orientations of the principal axis system: x ∥ c for the Cu (1) site and z ∥ c for the Cu (2) site. Asymmetry parameters were determined for the two Cu sites yielding η̄1 = 0.95 ±0.2 and η̄2 = 0.008 ± 0.002. At the Cu(l) site local variations of the symmetry of the EFG tensor were observed. For the Cu sites (CuO2 -layers) in the Bi2Ca2Sr2Cu3Oy phase a nearly axially symmetric EFG tensor was found.

From microwave spectra of the molecules CH3CH235Cl, CD3CH235Cl, CH3CD235Cl, CD3CD235Cl, CD2HCD235Cl-sy, CH2DCH235Cl-sy the field gradient tensor at the Cl-nucleus was determined. The investigation results in an asymmetry parameter of 0.015 and a small deviation between the field gradient axis and the C-Cl-bond axis of 0.7°. The complete field gradient tensor in the principal axis system was determined for the molecules CD2HCD235Cl-asy, CH2DCH235Cl-asy and CH3CHD35Cl.
