In Ayurveda various Acharya explained various subject related to medication, diseases, procedures. Ayurveda its science of prevention of disease hence there is taking care for not to form any disease that is “Swasthasya swasthya rakshanam”. Some time many population get infected after all taking precautions and many more people get infected these all condition come under concept of ““Janapadodwansa” ” according to modern sciences its called as “ Epidemic”  Under this point “Janapadodwansa”  Acharya charaka explained – Types of Janapadodwanasa, causes or factors responsible for it, presentation of “Janapadodwansa”  and prevention of “Janapadodwansa” .

The first part of this chapter describes the prevalence of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in childhood and adulthood, developmental changes, and risk factors. Methodological aspects that are pertinent to the different types of studies are reviewed, and future developments considered. In the second part, conceptual issues concerning the science of prevention are reviewed, together with the challenges related to developing preventive strategies for mental disorders, specifically ADHD.

Evolution in dentistry, dental materials, genetics and disease management has been growing over the last few decades. Understanding the links between genetics and dental and oral diseases could result in better treatment option. This knowledge could also results in better control and prevention of diseases. This review demonstrates various links between genetic predisposition and effect on dental and oral tissues. It highlights the recent suggestions of up and down regulating different genes and their effect on dental and oral diseases. Further studies are needed to confirm those links and maybe a brighter future in the science of prevention will be reached.
