Aesthetic Evaluation of Interior Design Based on Visual Features

In the modern context, interior design has inevitably become a part of social culture. All kinds of modeling, decoration and furnishings in modern interior space show people's pursuit and desire for a better life. These different styles of modern interior design rely on science and technology, utilize culture and art as the connotation. Its development often reflects the cultural spirit of a nation. The aesthetic evaluation plays an important role in the modern interior design. With development of derivative digital devices, a large number of digital images have been emerged. The rapid development of computer vision and artificial intelligence makes aesthetic evaluation for interior design become automatic. This paper implements an intelligent aesthetic evaluation of interior design framework to help people choose the appropriate and effective interior design from collected images or mobile digital devices.

SLANG LANGUAGE AS REPRESENTATIVES OF SOCIAL CULTURE IDENTITY IN FILM STEP UP 2 THE STREETS

Slang is an innovation of language change created by a group of people in highlighting their group. Speakers build a cohesive identity and a separate social class that becomes a culture in society. The purpose of this study was to gain an in-depth understanding of slang as a manifestation of a person's social-cultural identity in the community group in the film Step Up 2 The Street. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected using documentation. The data is in the form of utterances in the dialogue of film players that contain slang words. Data analysis through the stages of data reduction, presentation and concluding. The results of the study conclude that the use of slang in the film Step Up 2 The Street shows the diversity of social and cultural identities in people's lives. The group of slang users refers to the context of similarity in the race, kinship or group, level of intimacy, group localization, and social culture that characterizes each group.

THE DYNAMICS OF WAYANG GOLEK IN PANDEMIC AND GLOBALIZATION: TRADITIONAL ART SUSTAINABILITY

This research aims to explore the dynamics of wayang golek art and to highlight its sustainability in the future. Modernity, the acceleration of technological devices and globalization wave in the last two decades, transfers great pressure on traditional arts and culture. Wayang Golek, a performing art originally from West Java, has recently received a fairly strong wave of resistance due to changes in the social culture which is mainly leading to modernity. By using a qualitative approach, data collection techniques were carried out by interviewing two main players as the puppeteers of Wayang Golek. The data analysis uses the theory of Miles and Hubberman, and the theoretical study of Islamic studies. The results of the study show that 1) Wayang Golek has unique characteristics, where the talent needed tends to go through the "inheritance" tradition, 2) Wayang Golek can be a bridge for internalizing religious and humanist values for the community through unique stories based on custom, 3) the restriction of Wayang Golek performance due to the Covid-19 pandemic leads the puppeteers to be more creative to survive, such as creating videos and uploading them in YouTube and other social media, and 4) the preservation of this art depends on the serious attention of all parties, from the government, regional officials, and the community.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeskplorasi dinamika kesenian wayang golek, serta menyoroti keberlangsungan ‘hidup’ seni tradisional wayang golek dimasa yang akan datang. Era modernitas, akselerasi perangkat teknologi dan gelombang arus globalisasi dalam dua dekade terakhir, memberikan tekanan hebat pada wilayah seni dan budaya tradisional. Wayang Golek sebuah seni pertunjukkan yang berasal dari Jawa Barat akhir-akhir ini mengalami gelombang resistensi cukup kuat imbas dari perubahan kultur sosial masyarakat yang bergerak kearah modernitas. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara terhadap dua pemain utama sebagai “Dalang” Wayang Golek, observasi dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data menggunakan teori Miles dan Hubberman, dan kajian teoritis Islamic studies. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Seni Wayang Golek memiliki karakteristik unik, dimana bakat yang dibutuhkan cenderung melalui tradisi “warisan”, 2) Wayang Golek dapat menjadi jembatan internalisasi nilai-nilai religius dan humanis bagi masyarakat melalui cerita-cerita unik berbasis adat, 3) dilarangnya pagelaran Wayang Golek akibat pandemi Covid-19 membuat para dalang lebih kreatif untuk bertahan, seperti membuat video dan menunggahnya ke YouTube dan media sosial yang lain, dan 4) Kelestarian kesenian ini bergantung terhadap perhatian serius semua pihak baik dari pemerintah, pejabat daerah, maupun masyarakat.

SOCIAL CULTURE AND PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF KAMPUNG KOTA: A CASE STUDY IN BANDUNG INDONESIA

Kampung Kota has been associated with slums due to its substandard living condition despite having different characteristics to slums. To improve the quality of life of Kampung Kota community; it is important to actively involve the community itself to transform Kampung Kota to better direction and to exercise the democracy within urban development. The research aims to understand in what ways the community has been involved, how the community perceived their involvement, how the community wish to be involved and in what ways community participation could be improved in transforming Mekarjaya and maximizing its social capital. The research was conducted using qualitative methodology and case study strategy. Interviews, observation and documentary evidences are used to collect the data and to validate the date by cross-checking every information using triangulation technique. The research finds that the community has not been actively involved in many programs and projects due to the nature of the government programs that support the funding. However, most of the people; whose voice are generally represented by the head of RT/RW (Community unit/neighbourhood unit); are far more eager and willingly contribute to the development if they have the platform to do so.

Film and TV Animation Production Based on Artificial Intelligence AlphaGd

The dual attributes of artificial intelligence AlphaGd production, combined with modern social culture, industrial economy, and other factors, show rich connotation and extension in the development process of film and television animation production from the perspective of artificial intelligence AlphaGd. This paper first discusses and analyzes the practical significance and points out that AI AlphaGd has powerful functions, can greatly improve the sense of animation, and can effectively promote the technological innovation of animation production, then introduces the role modeling ideas of AI AlphaGd, and describes the modeling steps. Finally, the application of AI AlphaGd works produced after the use of artificial intelligence AlphaGd is more lifelike and specific in both the embodiment of the character image and the basic picture effect, which can make the audience have a more comfortable and perfect viewing experience. After summarizing, this paper puts forward the shortcomings of perspective artificial intelligence AlphaGd. Artificial intelligence may be useful in key decision-making processes, but it may negate the need for humans to be involved in these discussions. In view of these shortcomings, further research and discussion are made to accumulate new experience for product development and production from the perspective of artificial intelligence AlphaGd.

Thoughts on the All-round Development of Individuals in Modern Education

The concept of All-round development of people has an important guiding significance for the development of modern education. Education is a kind of social activity to train people, also a basic path to inherit social culture as well as pass on social production and life experience. It is not only a way to improve the social production, but also the only method to produce well-rounded people. In this paper, the Chinese and western meanings of the All-round development of human beings were summarized, and how to realize the All-round development of human beings through modern education was explored.

Hubungan Lingkungan dan Sosial Budaya dengan Pengetahuan Orang Tua Terhadap Deteksi Dini Pendengaran Bayi Baru Lahir di Rumah Sakit Mitra Husada Pringsewu Lampung

ABSTRACT:THE CORRELATION BETWEEN ENVIRONMENT AND SOCIO-CULTURAL WITH PARENT’S KNOWLEDGE TO EARLY DETECTION OF HEARING FOR NEWBORN BABY AT MITRA HUSADA HOSPITAL PRINGSEWU LAMPUNG Introduction: The incidence of deafness in newborns is 0.001% to 0.5% and increases in infants with risk factors reaching 1% -5%, which occurs in about 4-6 babies in 1000 live births in developing countries. Newborn hearing screening is a program to reduce the increasing incidence of hearing loss in the world. Knowing the child's hearing condition from an early age is an important thing to do where parental knowledge plays a role in early detection of hearing in infants. One of the factors that influence knowledge is environment and socio-culture. Purpose: To determine the environmental and socio-cultural relationship with parents' knowledge about early detection of hearing in newborns at Mitra Husada Pringsewu Hospital, Lampung. Method: The design of this study was an observational analytic with adesign cross sectional. The sample selection used total sampling of 60 respondents. Results: The data obtained were analyzed using thetest Chi-Square which showed that there was a significant relationship between the environment and parental knowledge where the p-value was 0.000 (p-value <0.005) with an OR of 13.00 and 95% CI 3.11-54.26 and the results of the analysis between social culture with parental knowledge showed significant results where the p-value was 0.015 with OR 4.42 and 95% CI 1.27-15.38. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between environment and socio-culture with parents' knowledge of early detection of hearing of newborns at Mitra Husada Pringsewu Hospital, Lampung. Skrining pendengaran bayi baru lahir merupakan program untuk mengurangi angka kejadian gangguan pendengaran di dunia yang semakin meningkat. Mengetahui kondisi pendengaran anak sejak dini merupakan hal yang penting, dimana pengetahuan orang tua berperan terhadap deteksi dini pendengaran pada bayi. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi pengetahuan adalah lingkungan dan sosial budaya. Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan lingkungan dan sosial budaya dengan pengetahuan orang tua tentang deteksi dini pendengaran pada bayi baru lahir di Rumah Sakit Mitra Husada Pringsewu Lampung. Metode Penelitian: Desain penelitian ini adalah analitik observational dengan rancangan Cross Sectional. menggunakan Total Sampling sebanyak 60 responden. Hasil: Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji Chi-Square menunjukan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara lingkungan dengan pengetahuan orang tua dimana p-value ­0.000 (< 0,005) dengan OR 13.00 dan CI 95% 3.11-54.26 dan hasil analisis antara sosial budaya dengan pengetahuan orangtua menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan dimana p-value 0.015 dengan OR 4.42 dan CI 95% 1.27-15.38. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara lingkungan dan sosial budaya dengan pengetahuan orang tua terhadap deteksi dini pendengaran bayi baru lahir di Rumah Sakit Mitra Husada Pringsewu Lampung. The Function and Context of Speaking in the Oral Tradition of the Kejhung Madura : A Sociopragmatic Study

The purpose of this study is the function of speech acts in the Madurese kejhung oral tradition and the context behind the Madurese kejhung oral tradition, which includes situation, social, culture, and ideology. This study uses a sociopragmatic approach and descriptive method. Researchers as human instruments. This research involves hermeneutic and sociopragmatic analysis methods. Hermeneutics is used to reveal the conditions of the context. This study uses data in the form of kejhung text which contains the function of speech and the context of the Madurese kejhung oral tradition in the form of rhymes. The results of the study indicate that the speech function is dominated by the directive speech function, both the advisory directive function and the inviting or wishing directive function. This shows that the function of Madurese speech is to actualize the attitude of the Madurese. The context of the kejhung madura situation is the wedding ceremony, welcoming guests, cow race, sonok cow, and rokat tase'. The social context behind daily life such as harmony and cooperation, the cultural context is the customs and way of life, while the ideological context behind the Madura kejhung is strong Islamic teaching within the Madurese community.

FAMILY COPING STRATEGIES IN THE MIDST OF CORONA CRISIS

The family as the unit in the social system has an important role and becomes the first social environment to introduce love, affection, social culture, and religion. When the world is suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic, the families are also affected by some impacts included: family health problems; family economic; family harmonization; family socio-psychology; and socio-culture. The family health is composed of fundamental dimensions: family social climate; family integrity; family functioning; family resistance and family coping. The family coping concept is the capacity of the family to confront, mobilize, and act on stressful events. This article illustrates the aspects of family health and coping strategies in the midst of the COVID-19 in Indonesia. It aims to inform and be the reference for further study related to the family adaptation in the corona crisis. We reviewed many works of literature in the form of articles from various journals. During the COVID-19 pandemic, families must be able to survive. COVID-19 pandemic does not only affect physical but also mental health. The way to deal with the events depend on family characteristics, the severity of the events and family support. There are two types of coping strategies that families in Indonesia usually adopt including reducing expense and increasing income.
