Hasil penelitian di peroleh berdasarkan hasil angket respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis android pada materi tata nama IUPAC senyawa anorganik mendapatkan presentase rata-rata sebesar pada beta test I 76,41 % dengan kategori baik dan hasil angket respon siswa pada beta test II mendapatkan presentase rata-rata sebesar 83,07 % dengan kategori sangat baik.ABSTRACT Previous research has been developed on Android-based interactive learning media on IUPAC Inorganic Compound material, but the response of SMAN 4 Denpasar students to the learning media is unknown. This research aims to determine student’s responses to android-based interactive learning media at SMAN 4 Denpasar. Research using descriptive methods. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire technique. The instrument used was a Beta Test in the form of a student questionnaire response sheet with closed questions and using the Linkert scale. The results of the study were obtained based on the results of student questionnaire responses to the Android-based learning media on the IUPAC nomenclature of inorganic compounds get an average percentage of 76.41% in the beta test I with good categories and the results of the questionnaire responses of students in the beta test II get an average percentage average of 83.07% with a very good category.

AbstractThis IUPAC Technical Report is one of a series that seeks to distil the essentials of IUPAC nomenclature recommendations. The present report provides a succinct summary of material presented in the publication Nomenclature of Organic Chemistry – IUPAC Recommendations and Preferred Names 2013. The content of this report will be republished and disseminated as a four-sided lift-out document (see supplementary information) which will be available for inclusion in textbooks and similar publications.

Coumarins are natural products characterized as 2H-chromen-2-one, according to IUPAC nomenclature, largely distributed in plants, as well as, in species of fungi and bacteria. Nowadays, many synthetic procedures allow the discovery of coumarins with expanded chemical space. The ability to exert non-covalent interactions with many enzymes an receptors in living organisms lead the coumarins to exhibit a wide range of biological activities and applications. Then, this manuscript provides an overview of the use of coumarin compounds in medicinal chemistry in treating many diseases. Important examples of the last years have been selected concerning the activities of coumarins as anticoagulant, anticancer, antioxidant, antiviral, antidiabetics, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-neurodegenerative agents. Thus, this work aims at contributing to the development of new rational research projects searching for new treatments and bioactive compounds for many pathologies using coumarin derivatives.

Ukrainian chemical terminology is one of the most advanced in the world, due to the rapid development after the rise of independence and it basing on the latest developments of IUPAC terminology and nomenclature. First of all, it is owed to the fundamental principles developed by our predecessors, who, in the difficult times of Soviet power, overcoming the impenetrable walls of imperial resistance, nevertheless tried to promote the development of chemical terminology in the course of time, and sometimes ahead of the advanced international and national terminology of others, even free countries. The orientation on the international terminology standards was chosen to build a new Ukrainian terminology and nomenclature at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of Shevchenko University of Kyiv in the 50's – 70's of the 20th century The basic requirements for the terminology and nomenclature of inorganic chemistry were formulated, which can be used as a guide for the development of Ukrainian chemical terminology and nomenclature nowadays: 1.Chemical terms should correspond to the modern meaning. 2. The nomenclature of inorganic compounds and elements should be consistent with the foundations of inorganic chemistry. 3. The nomenclature should be developed in close connection with the systematics of chemical elements and compounds. 4. The new Ukrainian nomenclature in inorganic chemistry should be based on the international nomenclature. 5. When creating a new nomenclature it is necessary to take into account the specifics of the Ukrainian language. 6. The nomenclature should be rational and give unambiguous names of chemical compounds. 7. The transfer of terms and names from other languages should be created according to the phonetic principle and transcribed from the original language. The most important principles of Ukrainian chemical terminology and nomenclature of coordination chemistry have been discussed, examples of the possibilities of adaptation of the IUPAC nomenclature rules on the basis of the Ukrainian language have been demonstrated.

AbstractA list of constitutional units (CU) used for naming polymers according to IUPAC nomenclature rules is provided. This list contains CUs of commercial and well-known polymers, as well as CUs which have been used in polymer-nomenclature-related IUPAC documents. A preferred name is provided for each constitutional unit. Other acceptable names and names which must not be used because they are outdated or incorrect, although they may have been correct in the past or in a different context, are also listed. A second table contains names of common polymers: structure-based, source-based, and retained traditional polymer names, as well as names that are not acceptable, again because they are outdated or incorrect. These tables supersede similar tables and names in previous documents. The rules given in those documents are still valid, but names of constitutional units should be checked for agreement with the present document. The preferred names of constitutional units should be used in structure-based names of regular and irregular polymers.
