The development of the social demand led to the need for methodological science to expand, deepen and intensify the methods and means of teaching modern students. Thus, in addition to taking into account the provisions of the communicative and competence-based approaches and competently selected teaching content, presented in the form of the necessary printed and audio texts, the necessary language, conditional speech and speech exercises, the teacher should make the learning process as exciting and motivating as possible for students. Learning a foreign language at a university should bring students the maximum possible benefit. Over the years of studying in other educational institutions, students have met a variety of methods and techniques of work, different types of texts and educational and methodological complexes. The task of a university teacher is to captivate the student, increase interest in the language, to help the student to form professionally significant foreign language skills and abilities. We present an overview of the features of the process of teaching a foreign language at a university using the educational technology “Storytelling”. This process has revealed a number of noteworthy observations that represent ways of effective interaction – new means and methods of teaching, forms of work and methods of work, which are necessary to take into account when planning language classes. We consider a variant of the monological utterance design from the perspective of storytelling. The principles of storytelling, options for its application in the classroom are substantiated, foreign-language examples are given and the effectiveness of this technology is justified.

The article is devoted to the problem of organizing the training process in boxing classes in higher education institutions. Determining the features of the psychomotor state of boxing students and its consideration in the dynamics of training allows optimizing the process of physical training of future professionals and contributes to the achievement of planned sports results. A specialized training program has been developed, which consists of nine complex specialized physical exercises aimed at developing the coordination qualities of boxing students. The aim is to investigate the state of psychomotor state of boxing students under the conditions of using specialized coordination physical exercises. A significant positive dynamics of psychomotor state indicators of boxing students has been established under the condition of using specialized physical exercises of coordination orientation. The obtained results expand the scientific information on the need to take into account the psychomotor state of students engaged in boxing. The existing programs of the training process have been supplemented, which are aimed at improving the coordination qualities of boxing students. In the context of modeling the modern system of physical education in higher education institutions, the effectiveness of the use of a sectional form of organization of classes has been proved, which involves the consideration of individualized features of the psychomotor state of student.

Objective: Progressive care units (PCUs), also sometimes called intermediate care units, improve the utilization of beds within intensive care units while adjusting the workload of the nurse.  PCUs encompass a scope of care between the critically ill patient and the acute care patient. Owing to the advanced skills set needed, nurses with limited experience in this setting may benefit from an orientation course in addition to on-the-job training. The purpose of this project was to develop and evaluate an orientation program for nurses working in progressive care settings at a multi-site hospital system. Methods: Kolb’s experiential learning theory and adult learning theory were used as a framework to plan and design a 2-day instructional program that addressed the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects of learning needs. Results: A total of 244 participants completed the 2-day program. The teaching strategies were shown to be effective, as indicated by survey results reporting a mean score of 4.36 on a 1-5 Likert scale (with a score of 1 indicating the presenter did not clearly articulate the subject and 5 indicating that the presenter clearly articulated the subject). The participants stated that they intended to make changes in practice and identified changes to improve the program (e.g., inclusion of high-fidelity manikins, patient-controlled anesthesia). Conclusions: Incorporating a specialized training program for newly licensed nurses and nurses transitioning to the PCU with less than 2 years’ experience in this setting may improve the nurse’s confidence and performance of patient care skills in this highly acute environment.

Summary The objective of the study is to design a specialized training program in modern weighting methods for under-21 soccer players to develop muscular strength and to identify the effect of the training program on weighting exercises on some physiological variables (some aerobic and anaerobic abilities such as VO2max heartbeat and backstage). Researchers in this study that weight training for soccer players will have a clear impact on both the development of muscle capacity and improve some functional abilities. The experimental method was used to design two samples, a experimental sample and a control sample of under-21 soccer players who were selected by a team of Mustaganem teams. Each sample consisted of 18 players. The experimental sample was applied to the weight and control program. For four months. The study showed that the experimental sample achieved a significant increase in muscle strength measurements as well as some physiological variables in all measured tests compared to the control sample. This is the result of the proposed training program applied to the experimental sample.

The paper investigates the training needs of workers in the fur industry and suggests the design of a respective training program. Based on the views of the workers themselves, the paper detects the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills necessary for their employment in this field as well as it identifies training gaps. In order to gain access to a big sample, the region of Macedonia, Greece was chosen as the place at which the field research took place, as it presents the highest numbers in fur production in the country. Qualitative field research, through semi-structured interviews, has been conducted. The main findings of the survey showed that there is no training support for the fur industry in Greece, both at the level of initial education and at the level of continuous training of the employees in it. The workers’ participation in a specialized training program will contribute to the upgrading of the industry, according to the workers’ views.
