In recent years, developments in the field of molecular biology and genetics have led to the increase in biological information stored in databases. The same increase in the volume of information occurred in the field of zoology, but the development of databases was not addressed in this area. We prepared a relational database and its diagram in the Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) database program. Our results represent experience with construction of a new database design for the zoology field with a focus on research of epigeic groups. The structure of the database will help with meta-analyzes with the objective to identify zoological and ecological relationships and responses to anthropic intervention.

Nowadays technology is developing very fast, including information and communication technology. For that we need fast steps in following it. Information and communication technology has entered all aspects of life, including the business world. This is because the work assisted by information technology can minimize errors and even losses that will occur. Warna Print is a company engaged in the printing sector, which serves banner designs and banner printing and is currently facing problems in the field of ordering. The banner ordering system used in Warna Print is still done conventionally. For example, in recording orders, making order invoices to taking orders and transaction reports, they still rely on recording on notes. This of course can cause loss or damage to the order data and sales transactions. With the design of this application will be able to help expedite the transaction process on Color Print. The design of this application uses the Netbeans IDE with the Java programming language and the MySQL database program. This application has guaranteed security, because only owners and employees who have a username and password can access this application. In addition, the error rate in recording orders is very small, because each customer receives a different transaction number, so as to minimize errors on the transaction report.

Objective: We aimed to measure the incidence, prevalence, characteristics and outcomes of intensive care unit (ICU) patients with early (first 24 hours) metabolic acidosis (MA) according to two different levels of severity with a focus on recent data. Design: We retrospectively applied two diagnostic criteria to our analysis based on literature for early MA: i) severe MA criteria (pH  7.20 and PaCO2  45 mmHg and HCO3  20 mmol/L with total Sequential Organ Failure Assessment [SOFA] score  4 or lactate  2 mmol/L), and ii) moderate MA criteria (pH < 7.30 and base excess < 4 mmol/L and PaCO2  45 mmHg). Setting: ICUs in the Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society Adult Patient Database program. Participants: Adult patients registered to the database from 2008 to 2018. Main outcome measures: Incidence, prevalence, and hospital mortality of patients with MA by the two criteria. Results: We screened 1 076 087 patients. Given the Australian and New Zealand population during the study period, we estimated the incidence of severe MA at 39.5 per million per year versus 349.2–411.5 per million per year for moderate MA. In the most recent 2 years, we observed early severe MA in 1.5% (1350/87 110) of patients compared with 8.4% (20 679/244 740) for moderate MA. Overall, hospital mortality for patients with early severe MA was 48.3% (652/1350) compared with 21.5% (4444/20 679) for moderate MA. Conclusions: Early severe MA is uncommon in Australian and New Zealand ICUs and carries a very high mortality. Moderate MA is over seven-fold more common and still carries a high mortality.

Research of theatre repertoire utilises the so-called list of production, which summarises information about the life of the production from the first to the last performance, acquired from playbills and other period sources and from literature, as a work aid. Its final form is the basis for entering data into a database program, which can be used to put together lists of repertoires of individual theatres, including registers of creators and producers. This article explains the methodological issues complicating the project to transfer the living organism called “a theatre production” into database columns.

In improving the quality of student skills in the process of learning databases, mailserver at SMKN 9 SURAKARTA, schools not only depend on the quality of managers but also improvement of management systems and the development of students' ability to apply database concepts. Mastery of database concepts is very important in order to improve student skills and improve student creativity in developing websites and improving the quality or ability of students so they can compete in the world of work. The database is one of the important components in information systems, with the information system it will provide accurate, timely and relevant information for its users so that it can be used for decision making. Teacher strategies in improving Database skills at SMKN 9 SURAKARTA, in delivering the teacher's material, first explain and explain clearly and hatefully then give examples of outputs from the database program, so students will try to be more competitive and efficient and try to improve skills in learning databases the.

There are few sources from which to obtain clinical and genetic data for use in research in Saudi Arabia. Numerous obstacles led to the difficulty of integrating these data from silos and scattered sources to provide standardized access to large data sets for patients with common health conditions. To this end, we sought to contribute to this area and offer a practical and easy-to-implement solution. In this paper, we aim to design and implement a “not only SQL” (NoSQL) based integration framework to generate an Integrated Data Repository of Genetic Disorders Data (GENE2D) to integrate data from various genetic clinics and research centers in Saudi Arabia and provide an easy-to-use query interface for researchers to conduct their studies on large datasets. The major components involved in the GENE2D architecture consists of the data sources, the integrated data repository (IDR) as a central database, and the application interface. The IDR uses a NoSQL document store via MongoDB (an open source document-oriented database program) as a backend database. The application interface called Query Builder provides multiple services for data retrieval from the database using a custom query to answer simple or complex research questions. The GENE2D system demonstrates its potential to help grow and develop a national genetic disorders database in Saudi Arabia.

The selection process of the field of the interest of students majoring in Informatics Engineering at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang at this time is still manually that is choosing to accord to the wishes of the students themselves, so that it is sometimes not in accordance with the values obtained. Therefore, a new method is needed, namely the Decision Making System for the selection process of interest. The method for overcoming this problem uses the TOPSIS method, where the TOPSIS method has a concept if the chosen alternative is the best alternative by considering various criteria. The research methods used include data collection methods and system development methods. The design of this application was made using UML, for the program using the PHP programming language, and for the database using the MySQL database program. Interest Decision Support System in the Department of Informatics has been successfully created with the TOPSIS method that has been implemented in the make decision support systems. In this decision support system, the accuracy value using the TOPSIS method is 67%, the recall value is 86%, the precision value is 86% and the f-measure is 86%.
