In this paper it is analyzed the illegal migration which in the modern societies in recent decades is characterized with a great expansion, dynamic, organization and transnational connection.  The research objects of this scientific paper are security challenges, risks and threats from illegal migration as well as the perception of the citizens of Pristina regarding the phenomenon and presence of illegal migration in Kosovo. In order to understand the opinion and perception of the citizens in the Republic of Kosovo regarding the presence of the illegal migration in Kosovo, a survey was conducted of 160 citizens of Pristina who answered 6 questions submitted through random method. Through this research it is intended to be understood first how much ordinary citizens have knowledge about the purpose of exploitation of victims by smugglers, what they may face during their journey, the factors that affect the occurrence of this phenomenon. Furthermore, raising the awareness of the citizens to cooperate with law enforcement agencies in cases of occurrence and investigation of migrants smuggling and also their awareness of the risk of possible terrorist attacks and the increasing crime rate that may carry the presence of these illegal migrants. The paper uses the survey method, the method of processing, analysis and interpretation of the obtained data as well as the comparative method.

The Mediterranean Basin is at the same time a region of stark social and ecological contrasts and a global biodiversity hotspot, where complex local evolving land use and land cover patterns compose the region’s landscapes. In this context, we aimed for a specific case study of the southeast of France, to assess land and farming systems’ dynamics, to identify their underlying drivers, and to propose possible shared future scenarios for local policies’ implementation. We based our analyses on a mixed approach and operated at downscale from territorial to local scale. First, we applied a quantitative statistical approach for the Vaucluse department. Then, we identified a subzone of the study area and pursued a local analysis through a qualitative and participative approach based on stakeholders’ knowledge. The study highlighted two main dynamics in land and farming systems that involve several changes. The first one is a process of land abandonment, strongly connected to a peri-urbanization process in some areas or to the loss of traditional farming systems in others. The second one is a process of specialization, at both territorial and farm levels, that corresponds to an intensification process and is linked to vineyards’ expansion dynamic with a landscape homogenizing effect.

Dynamics of fluid tori in slow viscous flow is studied. Such tori are of interest as future carriers of biological and medicinal substances and are also viewed as potential building blocks towards more complex particles. In this study the immiscible ambient fluid is subject to a compressional flow (i.e., bi-extensional flow), and it comprises a generalization of our earlier report on the particular case with viscosity ratio$\unicode[STIX]{x1D706}=1$(see Zabarankinet al.,J. Fluid Mech., vol. 785, 2015, pp. 372–400), where$\unicode[STIX]{x1D706}$is the ratio between the torus viscosity and that of the ambient fluid. It is found that, for all viscosity ratios, the torus either collapses towards the axis of symmetry or expands indefinitely, depending on the initial conditions and the capillary number,Ca. During these dynamic patterns the cross-sections exhibit various forms of deformation. The collapse and expansion dynamic modes are separated by a limited deformation into a deformed stationary state which appears to exist in a finite interval of the capillary number,$0<Ca<Ca_{cr}(\unicode[STIX]{x1D706})$, and is unstable to axisymmetric disturbances, which eventually cause the torus either to collapse or to expand indefinitely. The characteristic dimensions and shapes of these unstable stationary tori and their dependence on the physical parametersCaand$\unicode[STIX]{x1D706}$are reported.

Computational simulation investigation which is based on the Navier-Stokes equation, finite-volume method, dynamic mesh method, and volume of fluid method, was carried out principally on the constant speed vertical water entry of the cone with 75 degree and a half angle. Based on this, the cavity generation and the process of cavity wall expansion of the cone with 75 degree and a half angle were analyzed. Through analyzing the expansion dynamic for the cavity wall in different depths, the velocity and acceleration with time in the process of cavity wall expansion were obtained, and the disturbances and splash feature laws of the free surface near the entrance of the cavity after cones water-entry were analyzed too.

The development of computers and the internet have made distance learning distribution easier and faster and have given rise to the virtual university, the entire educational offerings of which are conducted online. Distance education is a field of education that focuses on teaching methods and technology with the aim of delivering teaching, often on an individual basis, to students who are not physically present in a traditional educational setting such as a classroom. It has been described as a process to create and provide access to learning when the source of information and the learners are separated by time and distance, or both. How to motivate learning sub-centers to improve education quality has become the focus of the participants’ game. The expansion dynamic tripartite game model was set up and the simulation shows the corresponding results.
