In order to improve the fertilization uniformity and stability of the orchard double row ditching-fertilizing machine, the design was optimized. Firstly, the factors affecting the movement of the fertilizer particles were analysed in combination with the kinetic model of the fertilizer particles during the falling process. Secondly, the influence of each factor on the fertilization uniformity was analysed by single factor variance. Finally, the Box-Behnken central composite method was used to establish a mathematical model of fertilization uniformity of the orchard double row ditching-fertilizing machine, and regression statistical variance, response surface, and contour lines were used to analyse the influence of each mechanism parameter on the fertilization uniformity. The test results show that: when the test parameters of the conveyer belt speed is within 165~235 r·min-1, the advancing velocity is within 0.8~1.2 m·s-1, and the guide plate angle is changed within the range of 15~45°, the degree of influence of each factor on the fertilization uniformity from high to low is the conveyer belt speed, advancing velocity, the angle of the guide plate, and the conveyer belt speed; when the conveyer belt speed is 214 r·min-1, advancing velocity is 1 m·s-1, and the angle of the guide plate is 37°, the fertilizer coverage reaches 100%, and the fertilization uniformity is increased from 86.31% to 90.73%, and the fertilization stability is improved. The research results provide a theoretical basis for the design and optimization of orchard ditching-fertilizing machine.

AbstractThe idea of a “cognitive map” was originally developed to explain planning and generalization in spatial domains through a representation of inferred relationships between experiences. Recently, new research has suggested similar principles may also govern the representation of more abstract, conceptual knowledge in the brain. We test whether the search for rewards in conceptual spaces follows similar computational principles as in spatial environments. Using a within-subject design, participants searched for both spatially and conceptually correlated rewards in multi-armed bandit tasks. We use a Gaussian Process model combining generalization with an optimistic sampling strategy to capture human search decisions and judgments in both domains, and to simulate human-level performance when specified with participant parameter estimates. In line with the notion of a domain-general generalization mechanism, parameter estimates correlate across spatial and conceptual search, yet some differences also emerged, with participants generalizing less and exploiting more in the conceptual domain.

This paper presents a synthesis method for the open path generation of a four-bar mechanism using the Haar wavelet. The synthesis method utilizes the wavelet transform and normalization to extract the wavelet output feature parameters (WOFP) of the open path. Analysis of the WOFP reveals a particular characteristic: for the same four-bar mechanism, not only do variations of the mechanism origin and angles and the proportional scaling of the linkage lengths have no influence on the details of the WOFP but the same holds true for the position of the point that generates the coupler curve. Based on this finding, a numerical atlas database comprises 192,596 groups of basic dimensional types was established and a method of matching recognition was proposed as well. According to the internal relationship of the wavelet characteristic dimension parameters (WCDP), the actual mechanism parameter values and position parameters of an objective four-bar mechanism can be calculated. Four examples are presented to verify the accuracy and practicality of the proposed theory.

Effect of Indium addition on the precipitation kinetics of Al8Si0.4Mg alloy has been investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis. The activation energy analysis results show that the β′ precipitation activation energy is 85 kJ mol-1 and 86 kJ mol-1 for the base alloy and Indium containing alloy respectively. The β′ precipitation mechanism parameter n analysis results show that β′ precipitates in two-dimensional and the growth mechanism of β′ precipitates is unaffected by Indium addition. The nucleation density dependent parameter k for Indium containing alloy is 2.45 times of the base alloy which suggests that Indium addition accelerates the nucleation density of β′ phases.

AbstractIndividual Evolutionary Learning (IEL) is a learning model based on the evolution of a population of strategies of an individual agent. In prior work, IEL has been shown to be consistent with the behavior of human subjects in games with a small number of agents. In this paper, we examine the performance of IEL in games with many agents. We find IEL to be robust to this type of scaling. With the appropriate linear adjustment of the mechanism parameter, the convergence behavior of IEL in games induced by Groves–Ledyard mechanisms in quadratic environments is independent of the number of participants.

In order to resolve matching optimization between EPS and mechanical steering system of vehicle, the difference and rate between operating torque and ideal torque of steering wheel is set as the control target. Fuzzy controller would be adopted to change parameter of PD controller. Through these, real-time assistant voltage is dynamically adjusted and ideal assistant torque is gained; further operating torque of steering wheel, vehicle yaw rate and slip angle as performance indicators, selecting retarding mechanism parameter and PD controller as optimal objects, utilizing genetic algorithm, electric power assistant system (EPS) would be dynamically multi objects optimized; finally utilizing EPS testing system controller is online simulated and verified, test proves that fuzzy PD controller via multi objects optimization could effectively increase vehicles steering portability and stability.
