AbstractEnzymatic browning is one of the crucial problems compromising the flavor and texture of fresh-cut fruit and vegetables. In this study, an untargeted metabolomics approach based on liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC–MS) was used to explore the browning mechanism in fresh-cut eggplant. Metabolomics studies showed that with the increase of fresh-cut time, the contents of 946 metabolites changed dynamically. The metabolites having the same trend share common metabolic pathways. As an important browning substrate, the content of chlorogenic acid increased significantly, suggesting that may be more important to fresh-cut eggplant browning; all 119 common differential metabolites in 5 min/CK and 3 min/CK contrastive groups were mapped onto 31 KEGG pathways including phenylpropanol metabolism, glutathione metabolism pathway, et al. In physiological experiments, results showed that the Phenylpropanoid-Metabolism-Related enzymes (PAL, C4H, 4CL) were changed after fresh-cut treatment, the activities of three enzymes increased first and then decreased, and reached the maximum value at 5 min, indicating the accumulation of phenolic substances. At the same time, ROS were accumulated when plant tissue damaged by cutting, the activities of related antioxidant enzymes (SOD, APX and CAT) changed dynamically after oxidative damage. SOD and APX content increased significantly and reached the maximum value at 10 min after cutting, and then showed a downward trend. However, CAT activity increased sharply and reached the maximum value within 3 min after cutting, then maintained the same activity, and showed a downward trend after 30 min. These data fully demonstrated that the activities of browning related enzymes and gene expression increased with the prolonging of fresh cutting time. We explained the browning mechanism of fresh-cut eggplant by combining metabolomics and physiology, which may lay the foundation for better understanding the mechanism of browning during the fruits and vegetables during processing.

The charging device usually uses a transformer and a diode bridge. Charging the battery is called direct charging. Because it does not have a safety for the battery it can cause heat to the battery. But over time, this is no longer effective, this work can be done digitally using a microcontroller.. However, this tool is still not perfect because at the time of testing it cannot be set, sooner or later, the charging is to cut time efficiency and there is no indicator that states that the charging is full or not. Therefore, based on the description above, the researcher aims to make a smart charging accumulator based on the Arduino Uno microcotroller that is smarter, more efficient and can be used easily, with the advantage of having a tap changer on the transformer that functions as a regulator of the output voltage. as desired and piezoelectric alarm as an indicator if a full charge or there is a problem with the equipment itself.

This work describes a Mixed Reality application useful to modify and cut virtual objects. A digital simulation of surgical operations is presented. Following this approach, surgeons can test all the designed solutions of the preoperative stage in a Mixed Reality environment. High precision in surgery applications can be achieved thanks to the new methodology. The presented solution is hands free and does not need the use of a mouse or computer’s keyboard: it is based on HoloLens, Leap Motion device and Unity. A new cutting algorithm has been developed in order to handle multiple objects and speed up the cut with complex meshes and preserve geometry quality. A case study presents the cut of several bones in order to simulate surgeon’s operations. A reduction in cut time compared to the original method is noticed, together with a high flexibility of the tool and a good fidelity of the geometry. Moreover, all the object fragments generated from the algorithm are available for manipulation and new cuts.

The phenomenon of the emergence of various innovations in the public sector gives a new color in the implementation of public services. The presence of licensing pick-up service known as AJIB  from the Jakarta Capital Investment and One Stop Integrated Service (DPMPTSP) is a breakthrough innovation as an effort to improve service quality. AJIB purpose is to make it easier for the public to cut time and costs in the licensing process, as well as to eliminate the practice of intermediaries / brokers. However, in practice, the level of public adoption of AJIB services is still low. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the adoption of AJIB service innovations by the public. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method using the theory of innovation adoption put forward by Jenifer Wisdom, et al (2013). The results of the study concluded that DPMPTSP organizational provide adequate support for this service, but there are several factors that still need to be corrected by the Jakarta Capital Investment and One Stop Integrated Service to increase the adoption of AJIB service innovations to the community, including improvements regulations that support the implementation of AJIB, increasing socialization about AJIB services to the public and improving online channels to access AJIB services.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an interesting study to be explored by technological developments. Especially with the Covid-19 pandemic, construction actors are encouraged to work according to the applicable protocol. BIM as integrated tool for managing projects from the beginning to the end of the work. On one side the classic problems of construction projects are high costs, late time, and quality that is not according to specifications. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the use of BIM in construction projects on time and cost. A case study was carried out on a construction project that had implemented BIM. The results showed the use of BIM could cut time by 50% faster and reduce costs by 52.36%. This time and cost-effectiveness are caused by the number of workers needed and the reduced duration so that it has an impact on fundin.
