Abstract. The Safe Operating Space for Humanity is not fully characterized by the state values of Planetary Boundaries because not only does interaction among them matter, but more importantly the perturbation response capacity dimension is missing. We present a systems dynamics measure of this perturbation response capacity under the Antifragility framework. Here we define, for the first time, Planetary Antifragility as the changes of shortwave global albedo anomalies for the July months in the northern hemisphere from 1982 to 2010, which shows a net reduction of 47.63 %. This loss in Antifragility implies a compounding problem because human perturbations such as climate or land-use changes are increasing but at the same time, the planet is losing its capacity to respond to them.

Analyzing the dynamics of soil particle size distribution (PSD) and erodibility is important for understanding the changes of soil texture and quality after cropland abandonment. This study aimed to determine how restoration age and latitude affect soil erodibility and the multifractal dimensions of PSD during natural recovery. We collected soil samples from grassland, shrubland, and forests with different restoration ages in the steppe zone (SZ), forest-steppe zone (FSZ), and forest zone (FZ). Various analyses were conducted on the samples, including multifractal analysis and erodibility analysis. Our results showed that restoration age had no significant effect on the multifractal dimensions of PSD (capacity dimension (D0), information dimension (D1), information dimension/capacity dimension ratio (D1/D0), correlation dimension (D2)), and soil erodibility. Multifractal dimensions tended to increase, while soil erodibility tended to decrease, with restoration age. Latitude was negatively correlated with fractal dimensions (D0, D2) and positively correlated with K and D1/D0. During vegetation restoration, restoration age, precipitation, and temperature affect the development of vegetation, resulting in differences in soil organic carbon, total nitrogen, soil texture, and soil enzyme activity, and by affecting soil structure to change the soil stability. This study revealed the impact of restoration age and latitude on soil erosion in the Loess Plateau.

Abstract By monitoring the structural vibration and analyzing the modal parameter, hidden damage can be identified at an early stage, preventing abrupt failures for important structural components. However, the modal parameter has exhibited a low sensitivity to the interfacial damage, such as the delamination in the composite beam. In this paper, a signal-processing method is developed to increase the sensitivity of the modal parameter to the delamination. Both the first- and high-order modal parameters are transformed to an approximate waveform capacity dimension (AWCD). Based on the wave peaks of the modal parameters in the AWCD, the start and the end of the delamination can be accurately pinpointed. Since the AWCD method can highlight the delamination-related waveform features of the modal parameters, the delamination can be identified without referring to the baselines. Both analytical and experimental investigations demonstrate that the AWCD method can modify the waveforms of the modal parameters and lead to an accurate identification of the delamination in composite cantilever beams.

Palabras Clave: Satisfacción, emergencia, paciente, atención   Abstract Patient satisfaction is one of the most important objectives of any health system. The reservoir structural fractures have excellent fractal characteristics, as well as self-similarities. Based on the fractal theory, the surface fractal characteristics of faults and the fractal characteristic of fractures in the core of the Xujiahe Formation in the Fault-Fold Belt of the central Yuanba area were studied, and a quantitative relationship was set up between them. Based on the fractal characteristics of faults, predictions were made of the favorable fracture zone, which provides a new idea for the research of fracture, as well as offers theoretical references for exploring the fracture development zone during oil-gas exploration. The results show the following: the seismic value of reflection fault fractal dimension of the Xujiahe Formation is 1.5284; the correlation coefficient R2 is bigger than 0.9901; the capacity dimension linear regression correlation coefficient of the fracture in core of the Xujiahe Formation is bigger than 0.98; the fractal dimension D can well reflect the fault and fracture development degree, as well as the complexity of the fracture system; it can quantitatively calculate the density of the fracture of the reservoir in the area; the areas of capacity dimension bigger than 1.45 are the fracture development zones in the Fault-Fold Belt of the central Yuanba area; the oil and gas enrichment degree is high; the areas with the fractal dimension value between 0.95 and 1.45 are the fracture relatively-developed zones; the fractal dimension with values smaller than 0.95 are the lack of fracture areas.

This study aims to examine the role of the absorptive capacity dimension in improving innovation performance and small business performance. The sample used as many as 35 businesses in the business sector of handy crafts. The collected data were analyzed using path analysis and processed with SPSS software version 24.0. The results showed that all hypotheses were accepted. The absorptive capacity dimension consists of potential absorptive capacity and absorptive capacity, both of which are able to have a positive influence on the performance of innovation and the performance of small businesses. But realized absorptive capacity can have a greater influence on innovation and small business performance than potential absorptive capacity.
