The power Ailamujia distribution has been successfully developed in statistics, both theoretically and practically, performing well in the fitting of various types of data. This paper investigates the moment properties of the associated order, reversed order and upper record statistics, which are indeed unexplored aspects of this distribution. In particular, the exact expressions for the single moments of the order and reversed order statistics are provided. Some recurrence relationships for both single and product moments for the order and upper record statistics are proved. For additional goals, certain joint distributions are also given.

This epilogue summarizes how medicine has been depicted in cinema through the ages, providing another way to look at the many different histories of medicine. Cinema has used fictional and factual situations, and sometimes just single moments, to show the unpredictability of illness—all is well but then it is not—causing story twists and consternation. Filmmakers may glamorize, exaggerate, misrepresent, or even falsify the practice of medicine, distorting its complexity. Cinema of medicine does not approximate the practice of medicine, nor do practitioners live similarly to their celluloid counterparts. However, medicine as practiced onscreen is plausible with all its cinematic flourishes, and, on balance, salutary. We can learn from it and teach others.

Symbolic mathematics packages give the opportunity to execute the difficult symbolic transformations with use of computer, abandoning graphic methods. The resilient weightless beam fixed by resilient links and carrying two concentrated masses is considered. Instead of building the bending moment diagram and the later use of Vereshchagin's method for disclosure of static indeterminacy, the equation of distribution of the bending and single moments along the beam length is written, and Mohr's integral is calculated.

Abstract This essay reads Byron’s personal and historical reflections in Manfred and Childe Harold’s Pilgrimage through Nietzsche’s meditations on memory and forgetting in Untimely Meditations. These poetic recollections are explored as moments of wilful erasure. Central to Nietzsche’s thoughts “On the Use and Disadvantages of History for Life” is how single moments are forgotten only to be unwillingly recalled at some future present historical moment. Byron’s desire to forget biography and history, paradoxically, produces a capacity to remember. Byron’s meditations on historical ruins become his own imaginative reflections on both the impulse to, and impossibility of, recovering historical and personal origins or securing an authorial posthumous reputation.

The probability density function (pdf) of the rth, 1 ≤ r ≤ n and joint pdf of the rth and sth, 1 ≤ r < s ≤ n, concomitants of ordered statistics are derived for Gumbel's bivariate Weibull distribution and their single moments are obtained. Also their means and variances are tabulated.
