Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis kerapatan kelurusan di daerah penelitian yaitu di lapangan panasbumi Suoh-Sekincau yang terletak pada Kabupaten Lampung Barat Provinsi Lampung. Kerapatan kelurusan diproses dengan menggunakan citra satelit berupa digital elevation map (DEM) yang diunduh pada laman Badan Informasi Geospasial  (BIG). Citra tersebut diolah dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Geomatica dan Arcgis dan menghasilkan peta kerapatan kelurusan dengan berbagai kelompok nilai dari tinggi hingga rendah. Geologi daerah penelitian didominasi oleh batuan gunungapi (volkanik) dengan kelurusan dominan berarah baratlaut-tenggara dan merupakan bagian dari Sesar Besar Sumatera pada segmen Semangko. Morfologi daerah penelitian terdiri dari punggungan dan beberapa puncak gunung dengan adanya cekungan pull-apart pada Danau Suoh. Dari peta kerapatan kelurusan yang dihasilkan, pada sekitar Gunung Sekincau memiliki nilai yang tinggi dan diinterpretasikan bahwa daerah tersebut memiliki tingkat permeabilitas yang baik. Selain itu daerah di sekitar Danau Suoh juga memiliki nilai kerapatan yang tinggi. Daerah dengan densitas tinggi ini merupakan daerah yang baik sebagai daerah resapan panasbumi. OBJECTIVE: Diagnose risk environments for schistosomiasis in coastal localities of Pernambuco using geoprocessing techniques. METHODS: A coproscopic and malacological survey were carried out in the Forte Orange and Serrambi areas. Environmental variables (temperature, salinity, pH, total dissolved solids and water fecal coliform dosage) were collected from Biomphalaria breeding sites or foci. The spatial analysis was performed using ArcGis 10.1 software, applying the kernel estimator, elevation map, and distance map. RESULTS: In Forte Orange, 4.3% of the population had S. mansoni and were found two B. glabrata and 26 B. straminea breeding sites. The breeding sites had temperatures of 25ºC to 41ºC, pH of 6.9 to 11.1, total dissolved solids between 148 and 661, and salinity of 1,000 d. In Serrambi, 4.4% of the population had S. mansoni and were found seven B. straminea and seven B. glabrata breeding sites. Breeding sites had temperatures of 24ºC to 36ºC, pH of 7.1 to 9.8, total dissolved solids between 116 and 855, and salinity of 1,000 d. The kernel estimator shows the clusters of positive patients and foci of Biomphalaria, and the digital elevation map indicates areas of rainwater concentration. The distance map shows the proximity of the snail foci with schools and health facilities. CONCLUSIONS: Geoprocessing techniques prove to be a competent tool for locating and scaling the risk areas for schistosomiasis, and can subsidize the health services control actions.

At present there are diverse algorithms in generating 3d terrain,to further improve the efficiency of the algorithms and fidelity of the 3d terrain,a new method generating 3d terrain by digital geographical topographic map was put forward.First extract the contour lines from the map and thin the contour lines by a improved thinning algorithm based on mathematical morphology[1].In the process of interpolation,the digital elevation map of terrain can be got by interpolation in vertical and horizontal directions,and the method of intra-interpolation and extra-interpolation according to the distribution of contour lines was also used.The terrain got by this method can reflect the details and the tendency of the terrain.The digital geographical topographic map on the network can reflect the change of the terrain timely because of its high updating speed.This method has great practical value
