Apart from the threat it poses for human health all over the world, Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating effect on the economies of all countries due to the measures taken by governments to restrict human mobility and social life driven by the concerns that health systems would collapse. In this period, radical changes in business relations, working style, and consumer behaviors have forced businesses to seek different management strategies. Based on the idea that the changes that occur will leave permanent marks in many ways, it is expected that all functions of businesses will be digitalized due to the digital transformation required by the post-pandemic period defined as the "new normal". Business Administration departments and business education at universities play an important role in making students ready for this new era, and in making them become a part and even pioneers of this transformation after graduation. Accordingly, the curricula of the Business Departments where future manager candidates are trained should be revised and converted into new systems, in the process of adaptation to the digital society. Thus, the main purpose of this study is to determine the extent the courses are included for digitalization in the Business Administration departments' curricula which are traditionally a subdivision of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. The curricula, and the core and elective courses of all Business Administration departments in Turkish universities that were active in 2020 were reviewed, and a descriptive research was conducted on the courses regarding their digitalization through the departmental websites. It was found out that although inclusion of digital transformation courses has begun in the Business Administration programs in Turkey, this inclusion has not been widespread. This study will contribute to the literature with the awareness it creates regarding the future of business education by taking into account the permanent effects of Covid-19.

Across academia, men and women tend to publish at unequal rates. Existing explanations include the potentially unequal impact of parenthood on scholarship, but a lack of appropriate data has prevented its clear assessment. Here, we quantify the impact of parenthood on scholarship using an extensive survey of the timing of parenthood events, longitudinal publication data, and perceptions of research expectations among 3064 tenure-track faculty at 450 Ph.D.-granting computer science, history, and business departments across the United States and Canada, along with data on institution-specific parental leave policies. Parenthood explains most of the gender productivity gap by lowering the average short-term productivity of mothers, even as parents tend to be slightly more productive on average than nonparents. However, the size of productivity penalty for mothers appears to have shrunk over time. Women report that paid parental leave and adequate childcare are important factors in their recruitment and retention. These results have broad implications for efforts to improve the inclusiveness of scholarship.

Abstract Under modern information conditions, competitive intelligence has an important strategic role for an enterprise to reduce market, financial and other risks. How to correctly evaluate the value of competitive intelligence and make the right decision for an enterprise directly determines the survival and development of an enterprise. By establishing a co-occurrence relationship between the two, the core themes of corporate microblog communication are discovered. Proceeding from the basic theory of the value of competitive intelligence, it is proposed that due to the connection of business departments within the enterprise system, the transfer value of competitive intelligence within the enterprise system is changed, and a mathematical analysis method is used to establish a value transfer analysis model. The value-added process of enterprise competitive intelligence and the internal and external operational processes of the enterprise are unified, and the internal and external competitive intelligence value-added operation modes of enterprises led by different strategies are studied. This provides a new and widely-referenced operational reference for different companies to effectively formulate and implement their competition and cooperation strategies through internal and external competitive intelligence operations.

Enterprise Resource Planning system allows the various business departments, differentiated by various places or utilities or services provided, to mobilize vital information which helps them to in an integrated single system. Suppose we consider an ERP unit that enables flawless flow of information among its continuous system of a producing process, like spare parts buyer’s facility, parts storehouse owned by producer, and producing and arranging unit. ERP allows us real time information transfer among various systems so as to maintain that the producing house has the required supply of necessary parts to ensure seamless working because of inadequate supply while also overcoming the problem of oversupply of parts. Artificial Intelligence can be used along with ERP systems. Such AI-enabled ERP systems not only provide benefit to single application only but also put a major impact which is more than the sum of individual parts. The various amounts of benefits of using AI-based ERP system, which basically comes from the majorly three features:Minimize data entryIntelligent data processingIntegrated data analytics

Nowadays, most manufacturing companies have realized the importance of collaboration between dispersed factories, different suppliers, and distributed stakeholders. Cloud computing is an evolution of the Internet; it does not just change the technology, but also enables collaborative innovation. Cloud manufacturing (CM) is another form of networked manufacturing. It provides common and standard manufacturing services by cloud logic and principle. In this chapter, a new concept is suggested based on the fundamental theory and key technologies of CM. Cloud Future Factory, which is intended to manage a matrix-type organizational structure, focuses on improving communication in lean manufacturing. This case company has dispersed production lines and business departments. Therefore, it's very necessary to introduce an efficient and dynamic information integration platform. This chapter leads to a different way of thinking for using the cloud manufacturing concept in different formations. CM is not just suitable for small and medium sized enterprises, but also fits large size companies.

This impact is clearly seen in the process of recruiting, training, how to organize or document storage data and management performance. Enterprises that develop their business in this dynamic environment are also characterized by ongoing changes and can not function without the use of information technology. Globalization of the market and the rapid development of information and communication technology have influenced the IT system to have a more important role in business processes than in the past. This chapter discusses multiple identity organizations and the implications this holds for multi-level mission-driven institutions. This review examines congruency between organizational mission statements as an identity utilitarian element, and rules and regulations as an identity normative element. In addition, the authors argue that organizational outcomes should be aligned with each of these multiple identities. The review uses a sample of Catholic universities and higher education institutions within the United States for analysis. The scholarly research emphasis of business departments/schools among these institutions is the common element used to measure this relationship. Bibliometrics and written language analysis were utilized. The findings provide initial evidence for misalignment and incongruence between their multiple identities and organizational outcomes.
