Development of a Business Assessment and Diagnosis Tool That Considers the Impact of the Human Factor during Industrial Revolutions

Over time, the satisfaction of needs and the ability to meet them have consistently increased. However, the world of the 21st century is one in which the basic needs of millions of human beings are still not satisfied. Why? To an extent, nonprofit organizations such as charities play essential roles in the needed improvement of this situation. In this regard, the human factor within an organization is key influence in organizational performance and societal impact. Human beings within organizations make decisions based on their own motives, so the ethical values of each person are significantly important. Therefore, it is necessary to use analyze the potential of the human factor in the fourth industrial revolution and to analyze its influence in the previous industrial revolutions. This research was aimed to conduct such analyses for a nonprofit charity. Moreover, the authors of this paper also analyzed the industrial revolution potentials of the charity case study using system dynamics. The relevance of the presented paper was ensured by the aforementioned combination of topics. The results showed how greater impacts, higher expenses, and higher stocks were not necessarily able to quantitatively satisfy food needs in a timely manner if the human factor and global effectiveness and efficiency were not optimized. When these aspects were optimized, our hypothesis was proven, as the models set for further industrial revolutions were shown to provide better results in the satisfaction, efficiency, and economic indicators with a lower financial need; therefore, this model can be used to satisfy other needs of Maslow’s pyramid. In conclusion, this proposed approach empowers welfare organizations to increase their CSR consideration, thus enabling them to use internal mechanisms to secure viability in the pursuit of a high-performance CSR approach.

TOURISM-BASED URBAN AGRICULTURAL INTEGRATED FOOD MARKET (CASE STUDY: SINDU MARKET, SANUR, BALI)

<p>The market is a place where basic needs such as food can be purchased. The high demand for food in Denpasar is dominated by the needs of the tourism sector and the community. The fulfillment of the need for food is highly dependent on the agricultural sector. The increasing need for food is inversely proportional to the aspect of supporting the fulfillment of needs because the condition of agricultural land in Denpasar City is decreasing every year, so it must depend on outside areas such as Tabanan Regency, Bangli and the largest imported from Java. The ability of a region to produce food that can guarantee sufficient food needs by utilizing the existing potential can achieve food independence. The application of agricultural systems to produce food in urban areas really needs to be developed to provide access to adequate food to meet food needs. This article aims to explore the potential of urban urban areas that are integrated with traditional markets in urban areas at Sindu Market. Located in the Sanur tourism sector area, Sindu Market has potential that can be directed to become a tourism-based market. Furthermore, this article aims to determine the condition of food self-sufficiency in Denpasar City and the areas that supply food needs for Denpasar City by implementing the Urban Farming system. The implementation of the Urban Farming system will shorten the carbon chain in terms of distributing food ingredients from outside Denpasar City. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data was collected by observation and interviews. The results showed that the food needs of the city of Denpasar were still not independent of their own food needs so that an innovative idea was born in the form of implementing the Urban Farming system at the Sindu Market, which was expected to be a solution to the problem of food needs in Denpasar City.</p>

Application of local microbes increases growth and yield of several local upland rice cultivars of Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia

Rice is the major food commodity in Indonesia and many other countries, as the main source of carbohydrate. Rice production must be increased continuously to meet food needs, one of which is by utilizing largely available dry land areas. Two important factors required to increase rice production on marginal soils are the use of high-production adaptive varieties and biological agents. It is necessary to conduct research on the application of local microbes to the cultivation of upland rice cultivars, with the aim to determine the best genotypes and/or suitable microbes. This research was carried out at the Research Field and laboratories of Faculty of Agriculture, University of Halu Oleo, from April 2020 to April 2021. The first tested factor was biological agents (local microbes), consisting of three levels, namely: without microbes (M0), the fungus Trichoderma sp. (M1), and the bacteria Pseudomonas sp. (M2). The second factor was the upland rice cultivar, which consisted of five levels, namely: V1 (Tinangge cultivar), V2 (Enggalaru cultivar), V3 (Bakala cultivar), V4 (Momea cultivar), and 1 nasional variety, namely V5 (Inpago-12 variety), as check variety. The research results showed that the interaction between local microbes Trichoderma sp. (M1) and Pseudomonas sp. (M2) on Tinangge (V1) and Momea (V4) cultivars gave a better effect on crop production. The best cultivar based on the growth and yield variables was generally obtained from the Momea cultivar (V4), although in many variables it was not significantly different from the Tinangge cultivar (V1). These cultivars could be further studied and possibly developed for promising cultivars in Kendari areas.

Optimization of Land Use Based on Land Suitability Class for the Development of Red Chillies in Jember Regency

Chilli (Capsicum annum L.) is a horticulture comodities that high demand because it has a high economic value. The demand of Chilli increase every year as the population grows and the industry grows which requires Chilli as raw materials. The productivity of red chili in Jember Regency is also low, which is only 87.68 quintals hectare-1. Fluctuations in red chili production that occurred in the Jember area were caused by several things including an unsupportive environment such as declining soil fertility, high pest attacks, and excessive use of pesticides. Therefore there is a need for agricultural development in order to be able to meet food needs and increase export opportunities to neighboring countries. The parameters observed in this study were secondary data from the soil unit map. The secondary data referred to are soil drainage, soil depth in cm, slope related to erosion, altitude, standing water, soil cation exchange capacity, and soil pH. The improvement efforts made to improve the land suitability class is by setting the spacing, giving organic matter, agricultural lime, P fertilization, cutting and filling the land with a mound terrace system or bench terrace to reduce soil erosion.

Pemanfaatan Sistem Embung Sebagai Sumber Air dan Pangan Keluarga di Desa Cikalong Tasikmalaya Jawa Barat

<p><strong><em>Utilizing the Pond as A Water and Food Source in Cikalong Village Tasikmalaya </em></strong><strong><em>West Java.</em></strong> Cikalong Village is administratively in the Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java, often experiencing drought every year, chiefly in the dry season, when the local people have difficulty obtaining water to meet their daily needs. The method used in the activity was a direct observation, interviews, and FGD (Focus Group Discussion). The number of people involved is 10-15 people, in which there are community leaders and farmers. This activity aims to determine the contribution and benefits of the pond, especially in the dry season which is prone to drought. Ponds can be an alternative solution, apart from being a water source, their function can also be developed for fish cultivation with an aquaculture system and vegetables with an aqua-plants system. Both systems are able to meet food needs on a family scale well, with the integration of various types of fish such as <em>Cyprinus carpio</em>, <em>Oreochromis mossambicus</em> and vegetables such as chili, leeks, tomatoes. The results of the activity showed that the benefits of making ponds around the house with sizes of 10x10 m, 5x5 m, and 3x3 m and in gardens with sizes 10x20 m to 20x20 are as water storage, fish cultivation and plant cultivation. The pond was a form of adaptation and mitigation of local communities in responding to the effects of drought properly. The Cikalong Village community can be categorized as a community that has a fairly high sensitivity to the surrounding environmental conditions in recognizing and mitigating drought problems.</p>

Program Pendampingan Strategi Pemasaran Digital untuk IKM Renafa Food

ABSTRACT Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan degan melibatkan mitra IKM Renafa Food yang berlokasi di Tanjung Gedong, Kecamatan Grogol Petamburan, Jakarta Barat. Kegiatan berlangsung dari bulan Juli hingga Oktober 2021 yang diawali dengan identifikasi permasalahan, analisis kebutuhan, hingga program pendampingan. Hasil identifikasi permasalahan yang dilakukan oleh tim menunjukkan bahwa IKM Renafa Food membutuhkan bantuan untuk mendesain strategi pemasaran digital dalam memasarkan produknya. Dengan demikian, tujuan kegiatan PKM ini adalah untuk menyusun strategi pemasaran digital bagi IKM Renafa Food, khususnya pemasaran di media sosial. Dalam kegiatan ini, tim PKM melakukan komunikasi intensif dengan pemilik IKM Renafa Food baik secara daring maupun luring. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa materi pemasaran digital yang dapat digunakan oleh IKM Renafa Food untuk melakukan promosi di media sosial. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan PKM dapat berjalan dengan lancar tanpa kendala yang berarti. Manfaat dari kegiatan PKM ini secara langsung dapat dirasakan oleh IKM Renafa Food untuk membantu melengkapi materi promosi di media sosial Instagram dalam bentuk poster digital. From the identification of the problems, team indicates that Renafa Food needs assistance in designing digital marketing strategies in marketing their products. Thus, the purpose of this community engagement activity is to develop a digital marketing strategy for Renafa Food, especially marketing on social media. In this activity, the community engagement team had intensive communication with the owners of Renafa Food both online and offline. The results of this activity are in the form of digital marketing materials that can be used by Renafa Food to promote their products on social media. Overall, these activities can run smoothly without any significant problems. The benefits of these activities give advantages directly to Renafa Food to equip promotional materials on Instagram in the form of digital posters. Young Consumers’ Concerns About Meeting Their Food Needs During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Purpose: The aim of the study was to identify young consumers’ concerns about the increase in food prices and its consequences for young consumers’ eating habits and meeting food needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Design/methodology/approach: An online survey of 702 young consumers – students – was carried out in October and November 2020. The questionnaire was available to respondents as a Google form. The obtained data was processed using a standard qualitative analysis and selected quantitative methods, including descriptive statistics, Spearman’s correlation coefficient and Pearson’s chi-square test. Findings: Nearly 63% of respondents agreed or rather agreed that the food needs of their household are fully met. Almost 44% of respondents stated that they are afraid of the lack of money to meet their food needs during the pandemic, and quite a similar share of respondents (47.3%) stated that they have no concerns in this regard. Although as many as 72% of the surveyed young consumers are concerned about rising food prices, only 22% are concerned that they will have to change their eating habits during the pandemic. The vast majority of respondents (92%) pay attention to the price when buying food and 83% agree that food is wasted in households. Research limitations/implications: Due to the limited possibilities during COVID-19, the research was conducted among 702 respondents, who were mainly students of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW). Such a number of respondents and the sample selection do not fully authorize the generalization of the results. Consequently, the conclusions should not be treated as representative for the whole population of Polish young consumers. Moreover, the questionnaire survey is related to the subjective interpretation of questions and the declarativeness of respondents, which may influence the obtained results. However, despite these limitations, the findings allow for approximating the concerns of this consumer group during the COVID-19 pandemic. Originality/value: As COVID-19 is a new social and economic challenge, young consumers’ concerns in such conditions have not been investigated so far and this study is to fill this gap. Moreover, this research may be a basis for further research as the pandemic situation evolves and may change both young consumers’ economic situation and their concerns about meeting their food needs.

PEMANFAATAN DANA ZAKAT PRODUKTIF DALAM TINJAUAN MAQASHID SYARIAH (Studi di Kelurahan Ganting Kecamatan Padang Panjang Timur)

Based on research that there are several mustahiq who divert productive zakat funds for daily food needs, for medical expenses, for education, to repair the kitchen and to pay installments for rented stalls. The reason for mustahiq to transfer productive zakat funds is because there is an urgent need and insufficient income for needs. Based on these reasons, the transfer of productive zakat funds is not contradictory and even in line with the theory of al-maqashid al-syariah. Because for the cost of daily food needs and medical expenses in order to maintain the soul which is classified as an element of daruriyyat (primary needs), the transfer of zakat funds for education costs in order to maintain the mind which is classified as an element of hajiyyat (secondary needs), the transfer of zakat funds to repair the kitchen and pay the daily shop installments which are part of the maintenance of assets belonging to the hajiyyat element (secondary need). While zakat is productive in order to maintain property. Hierarchically, preserving religion takes precedence over preserving the soul, preserving the soul takes precedence over maintaining reason, preserving reason takes precedence over nurturing offspring, preserving offspring takes precedence over preserving property.

Application of Sheep Urine Fermentation and Biochar Coconut for Growth Vegetables Plant

The Covid-19 pandemic to date has had an impact on all sectors of life in society, which is the provision of food sources by society. Various efforts have been made to the fulfillment of food needs in the community can fulfill as they should so that food security can be realized during this pandemic. This research was conducted so that the community can fulfill their needs, especially food needs by utilizing waste, especially solid, and liquid waste and increasing the productivity of food crops to increase the fulfillment of community needs. This research was conducted applied soil ameliorant coconut biochar at coastal soil Samas beach. After that application sheep urine fermentation for add nutrient in the soil. The stages of carrying out this research include: taking soil samples, preparing materials for making biochar and urine fermented for fertilizer, nursery pakcoy, preparing planting media, soil ameliorant coconut shell biochar, transferring pakcoy seeds, maintaining and administering urine fertilizer treatment to planting media, and plant vegetative observations. The result application was added material both biochar and sheep urine fermented. It was mixed media can repaired root area in the soil and increase avaibility of nutrient for supporting growth of stem height, account of leaves, length, width, and color of the leaf with the application of coconut shell biochar dosage 15 tons per hectare mixed treatment sheep urine 100 ml per liter of water was best treatnment. It can good growth pakcoy plants. and Its benefit from a relatively short period, and It can reduce the use of chemical fertilizers that It can cause environmental degradation

Marketing of Start-ups and Innovations in Agricultural Entrepreneurship

Agricultural development is a determining factor in ensuring food security. The intensification and innovation of agriculture is a prerequisite for meeting the food needs of the world’s population. Any innovative activity is Entrepreneurial and is based on the search for new ideas and their assessment; finding the necessary resources; Enterprise creation and management; receiving cash income, and personal satisfaction with the achieved result. The specificity of innovation is its riskiness, so often, investors simply ignore insufficiently substantiated projects. Currently, the due diligence procedure is gaining popularity, during which an investment study is carried out to establish the risks of a proposed capital transaction and develop a competent mayor to manage them. In the article, the authors considered the features and difficulties of marketing for startups and innovations in agricultural entrepreneurship and proposed a due diligence procedure to improve it. Due diligence is actions aimed at obtaining an objective picture of the object of financing. Due diligence is necessary both before investing, merging or buying a company and before starting any kind of cooperation with startups and innovations. The authors considered introducing the due diligence procedure and alternative ways of acquiring a business, indicated and analyzed the main stages of the financial due diligence procedure, and gave an example of the report of the diligence procedure for an agricultural startup.
