Pakubuwana IV (reigned 1788-1820) despite of his popularity in political history and literature, also considered a founder of the iconography and performance principles of Surakartanese style wayang kulit (shadow puppet) as written in the pengětan (i.e. “memorial”) texts, particularly in Surakarta version. The pengětan text genre as a literary work was rarely studied and only taken for granted by the puppeteers in Java because of its legitimative and semi-mythological nature. It leads to an uncertainty about the facts contained inside and causing a dispute in the society. This article would objectively discover about “how was the real influence of Pakubuwana IV in the Surakartanese style wayang kulit’s history and development?” and “did pengětan text were able to provide objective facts in minor field of historiography, including art history?”  This article aims to discover the real influence of Pakubuwana IV in Surakarta-style wayang kulit history and development through textual approach using pengětan texts comparison as the its method, along with contextual approach with the contemporary wayang artefacts. The result of this research shows that Pakubuwana IV gave a crucial contribution in Surakarta-style wayang kulit. On the other hand, critical readings of pengětan manuscripts are needed to analyze the historical and political nature on its narrative so it could give a much comprehensive facts dealing with art and culture historiography.

Abstract Purpose of Review General guidelines exist for return to sport after injury. The goal of these guidelines is to outline phases of recovery that will minimize the risk of reinjury and promote an optimal return to function for the athlete. This paper analyzes the current research pertaining to interval return to play programs with a special focus on the tennis athlete. The authors examine the different components of an interval tennis program and work to develop what they feel are the necessary elements of the optimal return to sport guidelines for tennis athletes. These criteria are based on the available literature, research, and preliminary data collection as well as the personal experiences and clinical observations of the authors. Recent Findings Interval sports programs are typically designed to guide the athlete back to competition after an injury. The current research reveals the obstacles present in implementing an appropriate interval sports program including a lack of consensus on which criteria is actually necessary and relevant. Limited research is present for interval tennis programs. Summary Return to sport competition and sports science is continuously evolving. The authors highlight the necessary components in rehabilitation and performance principles for establishing a comprehensive interval tennis program. In addition, the role of technology in sports rehabilitation is assessed as it pertains to return to play. The authors proposed that interval sports program can help guide and direct future clinicians in their rehabilitation of the tennis athlete.

Basic performance principles of the energotechnological complex used for thermochemical conversion of plant biomass with the influence of a magnetic field and high recovery of spent heat carrier energy have been developed. The concurrent saturation of a spent heat carrier in a loading bunker with the steam from humid biomass aimed at using a certain part of a spent heat carrier, which is clear from oxygen and nitrogen oxide, and moisture in thermochemical recovery has been considered as an important aspect of recuperation processes. A mathematical model has been developed and the results of numerical simulation have been presented for determining the distribution of temperature, velocity and pressure fields in a loading bunker. Prospective assessment of the engineering solutions developed for heat energy recovery of a double-flow spent heat carrier has been conducted.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the principles of good corporate governance and the tri hita karana culture on financial performance. The study was conducted in all savings and loan cooperatives in Tabanan district. The respondents in this study were the chairman, secretary, and treasurer of the cooperative. The population in this study amounted to 86 cooperatives. The samples in this study were 71 cooperatives obtained by the proportionate stratified random sampling method. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires and the analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the principles of good corporate governance and tri hita karana culture had a positive effect on financial performance. This means that the better the application of the principles of Good Corporate Governance and the culture of tri hita karana in Savings and Loan Cooperatives in Tabanan Regency, it will tend to improve the financial performance of these cooperatives. Keywords: Financial Performance; Principles of Good Corporate Governance; Tri Hita Karana Culture.

Purpose Sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) is a relatively new sub-field of supply chain management (SCM). The performance of SSCM is based on the triple bottom line approach encompassing people-planet-profit, hence being defined not in only in social and environmental terms, but also the economic. The purpose of this paper is to develop an integrated study which uses antecedent-practices-performance principles in order to determine the drivers of SSCM practices, and the impact of these practices on sustainable supply chain performance. The importance of the study lies in the fact that the Indian Government is making significant efforts to boost the manufacturing sector, and sustainability is among the significant imperatives for Indian manufacturing to be competitive globally. Design/methodology/approach A conceptual model based on the antecedents-practices-performance principles was developed, and included six constructs identified from the literature: the drivers being the motivators of sustainability, lean management (LM) and supply management (SM), the practices were the environmental and social practices in the supply chain and, finally, the sustainable supply chain performance; eight hypotheses were conceived in the model development process. The survey instrument was conceptualised from an in-depth study of literature and was employed to conduct a survey of 211 operations and supply chain managers and functional heads from the Indian manufacturing industry. The scales were validated by employing the confirmatory factor analysis, followed by structural equation modelling to develop the structural relationships between the constructs using Amos 20.0. Findings The results of the SEM suggest that the antecedents, i.e. motivators, LM and SM, have a significant bearing on environmental and social practices in the SCM; these practices, in turn, also have a positive relationship with SSCM performance (except the relationship between LM and social practices in SCM) with acceptable goodness-of-fit measures. Thus out of the eight hypotheses, seven can be said to statistically significant. Research limitations/implications In addition to the motivators of sustainability, the study based on extant literature has considered LM and SM among the drivers of sustainability in SCM. The study has also identified that in earlier studies, the focus has been on environmental practices, and this integrated study has also included social practices in the supply chain. Originality/value This study suggests that sustainability performance may also be realised through lean and SM principles; an integrated perspective has been adopted with the consideration of both environmental and social practices. Further, the proposed model represents a novel integration of literature from diverse domains such as environmental management, business ethics and corporate social responsibility as well as performance management.

Specific performance is an equitable remedy which enforces a defendant’s positive contractual obligations: that is, it orders the defendant to do what he or she promised to do. It is therefore a remedy protecting the claimant’s expectation interest, the justification for such protection resting ultimately on the morality of promise-keeping. Prohibitory injunctions also enforce contractual promises, but differ in that the promises in question are there negative. However, if what is in form a prohibitory injunction, in substance orders specific performance, or if the courts consider that in practice the injunction amounts to specific performance, it is governed by specific performance principles and is dealt with in this chapter.

AbstractToday, processing technologies have generated negative environmental impact as emission of toxic gases and degradation of the earth when certain products are placement in landfills leading to environmental pollution and several health risks, which damage societies to sustain the planet for future generations. As electronics waste, grain-oriented iron foils, graphite films and Mn-Zn ferrites have been identified as interesting candidates. Uncommon physical properties from such materials are available when these are converting technologically. A strategy such as Life-Cycle Assessment is employed here to taking into account all stages of the life cycle of electronics waste, including processing technology, manufacturing processes, use phase, and end-of-life routes to quantify the recycling performance as a function of the physical parameters that will characterize operability of a functional device. Hence, structure and conduction properties in waste materials are exploring by using Raman spectroscopy and electrical characterization techniques. Researching waste materials will provide theoretical basis for open-loop recycling, where trends related to green engineering must be attained with recyclable materials for practical adaptive structures using different performance principles compared to those used in silicon devices.
