Two novel 16-oxa-vitamin D3 analogues were synthesized using a Ti(ii)-mediated enyne cyclization/Cu-catalyzed allylation, Ru-catalyzed ring-closing metathesis, and a titanium-mediated stereoselective radical reduction of epoxide as the key steps.
