The purpose of this research is to implement an embeded system in a form of a device that can provide e-voting services and a realcount process that can quickly accumulate votes. With this device, it is expected to be a solution to conventional elections that are still prone to fraud, wasteful costs, and inefficient. This device applies NFC technology. Voter’s idcard is used as an identifier, the UID of voter’s idcard is read by the NFC reader and the verification process is running. Voters are entitled to vote if the voters' idcard number is verified and registered in the database. Here the voter will be allowed to proceed for choosing their preferred candidate from the pushbuttons. This device is expected to be saved huge cost by using pushbuttons instead of ballot papers. This device uses the SIM808 module as a data communication medium to send http packages containing uid and vote values to the webserver, to be further matched in a table in the database. When voters vote, the uid of the voter is stored in the results table in the following database with the value of the vote, and if an idcard with the same uid votes again, then the latest vote values will not be store. This method prevents duplication which often happens in conventional voting system. After whole voting ends, the final result is displayed on a web page in a graphical view for the satisfaction of voters. Voting and counting has become much faster and easier as the system doesn't really require counting personnel, therefore there has been a substantial reduction in the number of remuneration that is paid to them. This result menu can only be accessed after the specified time.

Mata kuliah embeded system pada jurusan teknik informatika terdapat  materi yang diajarkan berupa teknik interfacing mikrokontroler yang menggunakan tiga jenis protokol interface pada mikrokontroler komunikasi mikrokontroler peripheral yang dapat diprogram, dan di desain khusus untuk embedded system. Proses pembelajaran pada mata kuliah ini yaitu dosen menyampaikan teori-teori dan konsep interface mikrokontroler dengan mengilustrasikan konsep nya hanya pada papan tulis. Tentunya bagi sebagian mahasiswa yang belum mengerti konsep mikrokontroler akan sulit memahami materi yang diajarkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode perancangan kemudian metode observasi dan pengamatan mengenai proses pembelajaran pada mata kuliah interfacing serta mewawancarai beberapa mahasiswa mengenai pemahamannya pada materi yang diajarkan. Trainer ini nantinya akan digunakan sebagai alat praktikum mahasiswa untuk menerapkan materi interfacing pada mikrokontroler berbasis Internet of Things beserta komponen-komponennya secara langsung beserta teknik memprogramnya sehingga mahasiswa yang menggunakan trainer ini pada mata kuliah interfacing akan mendapatkan pemahaman secara teori maupun penerapannya pada mikrokontroler

Abstract— Literally embedded systems are defined as equipment that computes a particular job. Embedded Linux System was also developed as a means of education, one of which is ED-255EK Embedded Education Platform, designed to be very practical and consume very low power. ED-255EK is also equipped with a PXA255 processor that is compatible with ARM version 5TE ISA, so it can be used to carry out various kinds of lab work or experiments on embedded systems. The working principle of this tool begins with the configuration of data communication between Fedora Linux and ED-255EK. When the communication goes well, it is downloaded by the ED-255EK system to a laptop or computer that has been installed with the Fedora 9.0 Linux operating system. To take advantage of the ED-255FPGA module, driver module installation is required first, after which the application program is installed. Laptops or computers that have installed the Fedora 9.0 Linux operating system will act as input and output programs making it easier to monitor each module that is being run. The module used is the ARM 1923 Robot Module and Voice Module ED4321.

In order to make prosthetic work in unstructured environments in real time to solve the inverse kinematics problem, the coordinates of the location of the end of the workspace of the manipulator rod needed to know. The spatial orientation value of random object relative to prosthesis basic coordinates be calculated in real time is realized in the embedded system by means of two three-dimensional attitude sensors and one laser ranging sensor.This method can provide the necessary raw information for the multiple degree of freedom prosthesis which works in an unstructured environment to complete the operational tasks assigned.

Based on ARM,multifuncttion GPS/GPRS automobile security system was designed,which focused on security and detectiong.The system combines with detection technology, sensor technology, GPS technology, GPRS technology and digital filtering technology.This system was discussed from software and hardware. Related math model was established. Corresponding test was been brought forward to improve system reliability. Average filtering method and median filtering algorithm have been used to inhibiting interference signals with variety of frequency in software. In this paper,the advantages of this system have been discussed.The embeded system realizes the function with characteristics of low cost, high performance, real-time and reliability ,it has high practical value.
