ALÉM DAS FRONTEIRAS: ORALIDADE E ESCRITA EM CONTOS DE JOSEFINA PLÁ E ÁNGELES MASTRETTA

O objetivo deste artigo é apontar interrelações entre a escrita, a oralidade e a cultura em contos das obras Cuentos completos I e II (2014), de Josefina Plá, e Maridos (2009), de Ángeles Mastretta. As duas escritoras, em suas obras, buscam interpretar a diversidade latino-americana e, partindo do nacional, atingem o universal, pela incorporação de elementos que caracterizam os seus países de origem, tais como gírias, línguas específicas de determinados povoados (yopará e mixteco), objetos relacionados a uma determinada nação, gêneros/grupos musicais que caracterizam uma região/país (mariachis) no enredo de suas produções ficcionais. Como suporte teórico utilizamos as obras de Édouard Glissant (2005), Antonio Candido (2006), Rubén Bareiro Saguier. (2000), dentre outros. Em suma, as narrativas de Plá e Mastretta representam uma linguagem multimodal mesclando o oral e o escrito, revelando as identidades e particularidades do contexto cultural paraguaio e mexicano através do processo comunicativo que é a escrita.

Viagens da literatura cabo-verdiana entre raízes e rizomas, entre árvores e ondas: literatura mundo para uma Pátria Mundo

Chaves de leitura para a Poesia Cabo-verdiana contemporânea na sua relação com os conceitos de Literatura Mundial e Literatura-Mundo, com base em propostas teóricas de Zhang Longxi, David Damrosch, Armando Gnisci, Franco Moretti, Édouard Glissant, Helena Buescu e Zilá Bernd, entre outros pesquisadores. Constructos como transárea, arquipélago e vetorização, definidos por Ottmar Ette, bem como de Postpoesia, segundo Augustín Fernández Mallo, mostrar-se-ão também produtivos para o estudo da Poesia Cabo-verdiana.

Learning Arts Organisations: Innovation through a Poetics of Relation

Arts organisations have had to reimagine their ways of working, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has severely challenged the venue-based sectors and exposed the fragility of the existing business model of the ‘receiving house’. We use a specific example to address the following question: In what sense can artists lead organisational innovation, learning and change? We analyse Riffing the Archive: Building a Relation by MARIE ANTOINETTE (MA), an artist duo from Portugal, and their collaboration with the Barn, a multi-art centre in Banchory, Scotland, during the coronavirus pandemic in 2021. Édouard Glissant, a Martinique-born poet and philosopher, underpins both MA’s practice and our analysis. We draw on the key concepts of his relational philosophy, including archipelago, opacity, and disaffiliation, to clarify how MA work, what they have offered the Barn and what they can offer to other art organisations seeking innovation and organisational learning. MA’s nuanced approach, informed by Glissant, reconfigures the relationship between the artists and the art organisation and challenges existing assumptions through discontinuous and new thinking, while building a non-confrontational relationship with the Barn. It contributes to both organisational studies and arts research by highlighting the significance of MA’s approach to organisational innovation.
