TWO-COMPONENT HERBICIDE HORS D, KS FOR THE PROTECTION OF CORN CROPS

The research was carried out to assess the biological and economic effectiveness of the new two-component herbicide Hors D, KS (220 g/l dicamba (sodium salt) and 50 g/l nicosulfuron) of LLC “Agro Expert Group” on corn crops in Krasnodar Krai. The experiments were carried out in the field conditions of All-Russian Research Institute of Biological Plant Protection in 2018-2019 according to the methodological guidelines for registration tests of herbicides in agriculture. The soil is leached chernozem. The area of the plots is 25 m2, the repetition rate is 4 times, the flow rate of the working fluid is 200 l/ha. The experimental scheme included the use of the tested herbicide Hors D, KS in the application rates of 0.6; 0.8 and 1.2 l/ha. Carleone preparation was used as a standard, EC (0.3 and 0.6 l/ha) and control (without herbicides). The treatment was carried out in the phase of 3...5 leaves of the culture. The contamination of corn crops averaged 83 copies/m2. The herbicidal effect of the drugs was assessed by reducing the number and weight of weeds, as well as by the crop yield in comparison with the control. Weeds: common hedgehog, glaucous bristle, ragweed wormwood, tilted backward and Californian cocklebur showed a high sensitivity to drugs. The use of 0.6...1.2 l/ha of Hors D, KS led to an 80 ... 100% herbicidal effect. There was no negative effect of the drug for corn plants, crop yield increases were obtained, which amounted to 62.0...74.7% of the control. The obtained data for two years showed high biological and economic efficiency of the herbicide Hors D, KS against annual dicotyledonous and cereal weeds in corn crops

Experimental Diagnostics of the Emotional State of Individuals Using External Stimuli and a Model of Neurocognitive Brain Activity

In this paper, we study ways and methods to diagnose the emotional state of individuals using external audiovisual stimuli and heart telemetry tools. We apply a mathematical model of neurocognitive brain activity developed specifically for this study to interpret the experimental scheme and its results. This experimental technique is based on monitoring and analyzing the dynamics of heart rate variability (HRV), taking into account the particular context and events occurring around the subject of the study. In addition, we provide a brief description of the theory of information images/representations used for the paradigm and interpretation of the experiment. For this study, we viewed the human mind as a one-dimensional potential hole with finite walls of different sizes and an internal potential barrier modeling the border between consciousness and subconsciousness. We also provided the foundations of the mathematical apparatus for this particular view. This experiment allowed us to identify the characteristic markers of influencing external stimuli, which form a foundation for diagnosing the emotional state of an individual.

Question of Parity Non-Conservation in Weak Interactions

In order to reasonably explain the phenomenon of cell bioelectricity, we proposed the conservation law of cell membrane area, established the ion inequality equation, and therefore paid attention to the mystery of "θ-τ". We researched and analyzed the "θ-τ" mystery, discussed the parity non-conservation in weak interactions, suggested possible experiments to test the parity non-conservation in weak interactions, and gave our research and analysis conclusions: The experimental scheme proposed by C. N. Yang and T. D. Lee in the hypothesis cannot be used as a positive evidence of whether the weak interaction parity is conserved, nor can it directly answer whether θ and τ in the "θ-τ" mystery are the same particle; The Co60 β decay experiment such as C. S. Wu is a pseudo-mirror experiment, and it has not overturned the so-called "parity conservation law" or proved the "parity non-conservation" in weak interactions; The "θ-τ" mystery is a "man-made" mystery. θ and τ are two different particles, which may be the result of the same precursor particle being divided into two. Parity conservation or non-conservation under mirror image has no physical significance. The work of C. N. Yang, T. D. Lee, C. S. Wu et al. have brought quantum physicists from the "Little black house" to the "Big black house" or "smaller black house". The right and wise choice is to go back through "the door that came in". With the development of science today, it is time for some contents to reform from the bottom.

Photoionization of polarized doublet states of Xenon atom

We studied experimentally and theoretically the ionization of a two-photon excited superposition of 4f states of Xe atom by probe femtosecond pulse laser in a supersonic beam. The revealed oscillation structure in the observed photoionization signals is associated with the interference of the coherently populated components of Xe doublet states. Our results demonstrate the high efficiency of proposed experimental scheme for registering quantum beats in the photoelectron current.

Possibility of Using Alternative Electric Power Industry for Power Supply of Autonomous Infocommunication Complexes

This article analyzes the possibility of using non-traditional – solar and wind power engineering to ensure the autonomous functioning of infocommunication facilities operating without the constant presence of personnel. The technical characteristics of the main functional elements and the conditions for their interaction in the power supply system of the communication object are given. The main results obtained during the operation of the experimental scheme of autonomous power supply are shown.

Research on the Application of Wireless Wearable Sensing Devices in Interactive Music

Wireless wearable devices can greatly assist and promote the artistic presentation of interactive music and have attracted the attention of more and more composers, musicians, dancers, and visual artists. It can pick up data information in real time, integrate with performers, and provide immersive performance experience. It not only builds a bridge between subjective feeling and spiritual perception for performers and audience but also enables audience to directly observe art information better. This paper mainly introduces the development process of a wearable sensor system designed for monitoring interactive music movement. Firstly, an interactive music motion model is established according to the principle of human body kinematics, and the experimental scheme of measuring the swaying angle of interactive music with a single sensor device is standardized. A multisensor fusion algorithm is proposed to estimate the swing angle of interactive music. Based on the “cost-incentive” emotional model, the wireless wearable device and interactive music model are regarded as continuous variables determined by the emotional effect value and the incentive value. Extract energy, rhythm, harmony, time domain, and spectrum features of interactive music of wireless wearable devices, and reduce the dimension of a music feature space through principal component analysis, spatial projection, and relief feature selection. Finally, the practicability of the system and the accuracy of the algorithm are verified by experiments. The recognition rate of wireless wearable devices and interactive music realized based on this algorithm was improved.

The First Evidence of the Beneficial Effects of Se-Supplementation on In Vitro Cultivated Olive Tree Explants

Selenium is an essential micronutrient that provides important benefits to plants and humans. At proper concentrations, selenium increases plant growth, pollen vitality, the shelf life of fresh products, and seems to improve stress resistance; these effects can certainly be attributed to its direct and indirect antioxidant capacity. For these reasons, in the present work, the effects of selenium at different dosages on in vitro cultivated olive explants were investigated to observe possible positive effects (in terms of growth and vigor) on the proliferation phase. The work was carried out on four different olive cultivars: “San Felice”, “Canino”, “Frantoio”, and “Moraiolo”. The explants were cultured in aseptic conditions on olive medium (OM), with the addition of 4 mg·L−1 of zeatin, 30 g·L−1 of sucrose, and 7 g·L−1 of agar. The experimental scheme included a comparison between explants grown with five different concentrations of Na2SeO4 (0, 10, 20, 40, and 80 mg L−1) added to the medium during three successive subcultures. Interesting information has emerged from the results and all varieties responded to different concentrations of Selenium. The optimal Se dosages varied for each cultivar, but in general, Se concentration between 10 and 40 mg L−1 increased fresh and dry weight of the explants and shoot lengths. Se treatment induced in all cultivars and for all dosages used an increase in total Se content in proliferated explants. Furthermore, as the subcultures proceeded, the ability of the explants to absorb Se did not diminish. The Se content ranged from 8.55 to 114.21 µg kg−1 plant DW in ‘Frantoio’, from 9.83 to 94.85 µg kg−1 plant DW in ‘Moraiolo’, from 19.84 to 114.21 µg kg−1 plant DW in ‘Canino’, and from 20.97 to 95.54 µg kg−1 plant DW in ‘San Felice’. In general, the effect of selenium tends to decrease with the progress of subcultures and this suggests a sort of “adaptation” effect of the explants to its presence. The present study highlights for the first time the possibility of using in vitro cultures as biotechnological support to study supplementation with selenium and its effects on in vitro olive plant growth.

Quantitative complementarity of wave-particle duality

To test the principle of complementarity and wave-particle duality quantitatively, we need a quantum composite system that can be controlled by experimental parameters. Here, we demonstrate that a double-path interferometer consisting of two parametric downconversion crystals seeded by coherent idler fields, where the generated coherent signal photons are used for quantum interference and the conjugate idler fields are used for which-path detectors with controllable fidelity, is useful for elucidating the quantitative complementarity. We show that the quanton source purity μs is tightly bounded by the entanglement E between the quantons and the remaining degrees of freedom by the relation μs=1−E2, which is experimentally confirmed. We further prove that the experimental scheme using two stimulated parametric downconversion processes is an ideal tool for investigating and understanding wave-particle duality and Bohr’s complementarity quantitatively.
