AbstractBy means of the weight functions, Hermite–Hadamard’s inequality, and the techniques of real analysis, a new more accurate reverse half-discrete Mulholland-type inequality involving one higher-order derivative function is given. The equivalent statements of the best possible constant factor related to a few parameters, the equivalent forms, and several particular inequalities are provided. Another kind of the reverses is also considered.

Lightning current measurements are possible using instrumental tall structures or rocket-triggered lightning. The CN Tower has been a source of lightning current data for the past 15 years. A major portion of research on the natural lightning is focused on developing lightning protection systems, and in order to do so, an accurate knowledge of the characteristics of lightning, including the return-stroke current, is required. The CN Tower is a transmission tower and it is expected that the recorded lightning current signals be corrupted with different kinds of noise. This makes it difficult to extract the return-stroke current waveform parameters (peak, 10-90% rise-time to peak, maximum steepness, pulse width etc.) from the measured waveforms. In this project, an over-subtraction and residual noise reduction based power spectral subtraction method has been developed in order to de-noise the lighting return-stroke current derivative signals measured at the CN Tower. In order to evaluate the proposed de-noising technique, the derivative of Heidler function is used to model the measured return-stroke current derivative signal. The measured current derivative signal is simulated using the Heidler derivative model after artificially corrupting it with noise signals measured at the CN Tower in the absence of lightning. A modified spectral substraction method (MSS) is proposed and applied to the de- noise the simulated current derivative signal and the resultant waveform is compared with the Heidler derivative model, which enabled accurate evaluation of the proposed method. The result of the evaluation show a substantial improvement in the signal peak-to-noisepeak ratio(SPNPR) of up to 32 dB depending on the level of vthe noise signal, which is added to the Heidler derivative function. Furthermore, 95.7%-98.5% recovery of the peak of the original Heidler derivative function was obtained. For further evaluation of the new MSS method, the conventional spectral subtraction (SS) method is applied for de-noising the same simulated current derivative signals, which produced a substantially lower SPNPR of up to 16 dB with a peak recovery of 93.3%- 97.5% of the original Heidler derivative model. The poposed method is successfully used to substantially remove the noise from the lightning current derivative signals measured at the CN Tower.

This paper aims at describing Javanese reduplication system with focus of attention on forms, functions, and grammatical meanings. By using data extracted from Javanese text books and  ones of my own creation  whose grammaticalty and acceptability are previously tested with several native speakers,  through distributional method with its various technical analysis,  the research found that Javanese reduplication can be classified  into at least four linguistic forms. Those are full reduplication, partial reduplication, sound modification reduplication, and  affix-combined reduplication. Javanese reduplication can either perform inflective or derivative function in relation to its potentiality to maintain and change the word identity. Finally, with regard to the grammatical meanings, Javanese  reduplication at least can express eleven grammatical meanings, i.e. plurality, diversity, continuity,  intensity, attenuation,  reciprocity,  artificiality, collectivity, rate, astonishment and contrast. Many of these grammatical meanings are context sensitive.

AbstractIn this article, by using weight functions, the idea of introducing parameters, the reverse extended Hardy–Hilbert integral inequality and the techniques of real analysis, a reverse Hardy–Hilbert-type integral inequality involving one derivative function and the beta function is obtained. The equivalent statements of the best possible constant factor related to several parameters are considered. The equivalent form, the cases of non-homogeneous kernel and some particular inequalities are also presented.

The derivative function of dialogical communication in the psychological support of learning is intensification of activity, which is especially clearly manifested in group dialogue. Dialogical communication is presented from the standpoint of the methodology of communication, communication, relationships. These aspects of the study of dialogical communication presuppose productive and dynamic interpersonal interaction, mutual understanding and mutual knowledge. This approach is logically presented in the consideration of dialogical communication in the psychological support of learning. The correlation between increased effectiveness of dialogical communication in psychological support of learning and increased productivity of the activity, which is clearly traced in the polylogue, is revealed. Dialogical communication in psychological support of students’ learning can be presented as the unity of all participants of communication in achieving the goal, taking into account psychological factors of the dialogue and conditions of dialogization of relationships between the teacher and the student.

In the curriculum informatics engineering program of South Aceh Polytechnic, functiom derivative is taught in the second semester. The derivative function is a mathematics concept who does manipulation toward a function, thus the function slope can be obtained quantitatively on the slanted point. The derivative function material is one of the difficult material faced by the students. Accordingly, the implementation of a learning model is a good thing to create students' interest on the subject. And the media also use to support teaching and learning process as software maple. The purpose of this research is to find out the students’ results who have taught by quantum teaching and also maple on derivative function and the students who have taught by conventional method, and also to know the students' responses after taught by quantum teaching and software maple on derivative material. Experimental method is used in this research by designing pre-test and post-test and control groups. The population is all of the second semester informatics engineering's students at South Aceh Polytechnic where they divided into two classes. The technique in gaining data is using two tests, they are written and questionnaire test. The result of data is analyzed by T-test, and questionnaire is analyzed by calculating the average scores which have set by Likert-scale. Research found that t-score > t-table that is 2.41>1,69. This showed that, the students' score on derivative material taught by quantum teaching by adopting media maple is better than the students' score taught by conventional method at informatics engineering of South Aceh Polytechnic. As for the students' responses, gainned the average of a proposed statements is 3.52. According to the specified criterias, the researcher concludes that the students' responses toward the implementation of quantum teaching by software maple on derivative function is very positive.
