The proposed installation provides control and monitoring of the parameters of the cutting tool during deep drilling of pipes for various purposes due to the controller and sensors, which are mounted on special equipment designed for processing deep holes. Installed sensors control such parameters as tool rotation, feed, part rotation, runout on the outer surface of the part, and the wall thickness of the part during processing. Movement of the cutting tool of the drilling head, in which a sensor for monitoring the thickness difference is installed using a lubricating and cooling liquid supplied to the head as a contact medium, which ensures the operation of the sensor for monitoring the wall thickness. The controller processes the data received from all sensors, and sends a pulse signal, thereby making appropriate adjustments to the operation of the entire installation.

Perkembangan radiator saat ini sangat pesat baik secara kontruksi, material pembuatnya serta dimensinya yang cenderung lebih efisien dan efektif dalam pelepasan panas. Disisi lain dunia otomotif telah melakukan pengembangkan teknologi tentang cairan pendingin (cooling liquid) yang baik dalam pelepasan panas serta mampu bertahan ditemperatur tinggi. Cairan pendingin saat ini juga dikembangkan dengan memiliki kelebihan dibanding air biasa yakninya dilengkapi dengan anti-freeze agar cairan tidak membeku saat musim dingin, juga dilengkapi dengan kandungan anti karat agar radiator memiliki masa pakai yang lebih panjang. Untuk itu perlu upaya untuk mengetahui kemampuan radiator secara jelas agar ini dapat membantu dalam pemilihan jenis cairan pendingin yang cocok pada sebuah mobil sehingga mesin tidak mengalami overheating atau mesin tetap menjaga temperatur kerjanya. Hal ini berdampak pada jumlah varian cairan pendingin yang ada dipasaran sangat bervariasi dengan keunggulan masing. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan meggunakan engine stand. Pengujian dilakukan pada radiator kijang  5 K model straight fin dengan model flat tube dengan menvariasikan merk dari cairan pendingin (coolant liquid) dengan 5 varian Top 1 (TP), Wurth (WR), Prestone (PT), Megacool (MC), G-Force (GF). Dari hasil penelitian didapat efektifitas radiator terbaik terdapat pada cairan pendingin dengan merk PT dengan nilai 0.494 pada durasi 60 detik.

The article deals with modern technologies and means of filtering the cooling liquid of autotransport engines. A comparative analysis of the devices used is given. Their performance characteristics are given. Promising approaches to cleaning the coolant are described. The conclusion is made about the wide prospects of hydrocyclone devices for effective cleaning of the coolant of autotransport engines.

A number of sectors in the food industry practice cooling substances of biological origin. This contributes to the maintenance of their biological properties, as well as prevents microflora growth in the product. One of the ways to intensify production processes and maintain the quality of raw materials and finished products is their accelerated cooling with the help of low-energy cooling equipment. The use of physical bodies cooled to low temperatures is a promising way to accelerate liquid cooling. We used balls with frozen eutectic solution. In our research, the problem of cooling a liquid system is formulated and solved within the framework of classical linear boundary value problem for the equation of a stationary convective heat transfer. In the area of the actual values of the process parameters on the study object, the solution obtained is used as the basis for numerical experiment on the modelling of the cooling liquid flow with the cooling agent system, namely balls filled with eutectic solution. By calculation, the efficiency of the proposed method for cooling liquid was justified based on such factors as temperature, the number of balls in a two-phase liquid system, and the duration of low-temperature treatment. The presented results of the numerical experiment complied with real heat transfer processes during liquid cooling.

Honing using a silicate-cooling liquid improves the quality of work surfaces, which increases the reliability and durability of the interfaces. This coolant can be used in existing technological processes. it is cheap, fireproof, does not contain scarce components, is environmentally friendly, accessible and easy to manufacture.

The temperature field in welded plates has a significant influence on the microstructure and thereby their properties during friction stir welding (FSW). In this work, a self-designed heat pipe with different cooling liquid was applied in the FSW process for AZ31 magnesium alloy. The temperature fields, microstructures and properties of the welded joints were investigated. The peak temperatures and the durations of high temperature at both the advancing side and the retreating side decrease during the FSW process after applying the heat pipe and adding the ambient temperature water in the condensing tank. The top part of the weld nugget zone of the joint shows a significant decrease as well as its middle part due to the cooling effect of the heat pipe. The microstructure of the weld nugget zone is refined, associated with the increase in the hardness after applying the heat pipe. When the cooling liquid turns into ice water, grains in the weld nugget zone become significantly smaller and have a more homogeneous size. The mean value of hardness increases and the corresponding deviation is declined. Therefore, these results indicate that the application of the heat pipe and the employment of ice water as the cooling liquid can further refine the microstructure and enhance the strength of the material.
