Additions and changes of the list of protected species of the Leningrad Region. Mosses (Bryophyta)

The mosses need to be preserved in the Leningrad Region are revealed. The following species are suggested for inclusion in the Red Data Book of the Leningrad Region for the first time: Antitrichia curtipendula, Buxbaumia viridis, Calliergon richardsonii, Dicranum drummondii, D. fragilifolium, Fissidens gracilifolius, Grimmia hartmanii, G. torquata, Leucobryum glaucum, Myurella julacea, Neckera crispa, Plagiothecium piliferum, P. undulatum, Pseudotaxiphyllum elegans, Saelania glaucescens, Sphagnum quinquefarium, Thuidium tamariscinum. The reasons for exclusion from the list of protected species of Archidium alternifolium, Orthotrichum pumilum, Pseudoscleropodium purum, Splachnum melanocaulon are discussed.
