In this paper, the Sumudu decomposition method (SDM) is modified and applied to solve systems of singular equations of the Lane-Emden-Fowler type. The proposed method is based on the application of Sumudu transform and Adomian decomposition method. Some illustrative examples are given to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed technique. The results show that the modified method is simple and effective

We prove a Freiheitssatz for one-relator products of torsion-free groups, where the relator has syllable length at most [Formula: see text]. This result has applications to equations over torsion-free groups: in particular a singular equation of syllable length at most [Formula: see text] over a torsion-free group has a solution in some overgroup.

This paper is concerned with a kind of non-Newtonian filtration equation with nonlinear sources and singularities. Based on the mountain pass theorem and variational methods, a sufficient criterion for the new results on the periodic wave solutions has been provided. Here not only the structure is more general and practical than the existing works but the conditions imposed are concise. Consequently, compared with the previous results on the singular equations and non-Newtonian filtration equations, the results we established are more generalized and some previous ones can been complemented and improved. Finally, the effectiveness of the established results are validated via two numerical examples and simulations.

AbstractOne of best ways for increasing our abilities in exact modeling of natural phenomena is working with a singular version of different fractional differential equations. As is well known, multi-singular equations are a modern version of singular equations. In this paper, we investigate the existence of solutions for a multi-singular fractional differential system. We consider some particular boundary value conditions on the system. By using the α-ψ-contractions and locating some control conditions, we prove that the system via infinite singular points has solutions. Finally, we provide an example to illustrate our main result.

In this paper, we establish the correct solvability of a nonlocal multipoint in time problem for the evolutionary equation of a parabolic type with the Bessel operator of infinite order in the case where the initial function is an element of the space of generalized functions of type S∘′.
