This study aimed at identifying the relationship of leadership pattern with the satisfaction of their teachers in the Directorate of Education in Amman First Area' as well as finding if there are any specialty, secondary school principal pattern, and the interaction between them, The study objectives are to answer the following questions: 1. What are the leadership patterns of the secondary school principals according to Blanchard and Hersey theory? 2. What is the extent of job satisfaction among teachers? 3. Are there any significant differences for job satisfaction and the secondary school principal pattern concerning teacher specialty and the interaction between them? 4. Are there any significant differences for job satisfaction and the leadership pattern of school principal and the interaction between? 5. There were differences in satisfaction resulted of the specialty factor, while other differnces resulted of the secondary school principal's leadership pattern and there was no interaction between specialty and the leadership pattern of the principals. The study recommended that: 1. There should be concentration on the selling leadership pattern, as well as concentrating on the participation of the teacher in decision making and meet their needs and wells. 2. Training the managers on the suitable leadership patterns and develop them vocationally. 3. To find out the reasons of the satisfaction of male teacher concerning the teaching process and find the solutions. 4. Increase the level of satisfaction for teachers through the enrichment of their spiritual level and support their position in society. 5. Performing more studies concerning the leadership pattern and the job satisfaction including the factors not included in this study such as age, marital status, work place, and salary.

The article presents the hero silhouette of blessed Alice Kotowska – the nun of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Resurrection, the superior of the community in Wejherowo and the secondary school principal. Because of her involvement in religious, social and patriotic activities, at the end of October in 1939, she was arrested by the Nazis and soon shot in the forests of Piaśnica. She was one of the tens of thousands of victims of the Pomeranian Crime. Account for her saintly life and the suffered death at the hand of the occupant, she was exalted to the glory of alters in 1999 among 108 Polish martyrs of World War II.

He Could Be Undocumented: Striving to Be Sensitive to Student Documentation Status in a Rural Community

This case study takes place in a Midwestern, politically conservative rural community shortly after a highly contested presidential election. Like other communities, Paisano has experienced demographic change in a relatively short time. Meat processing plants and construction jobs proliferate, attracting migrant workers. One day, secondary school Principal Kate Robertson notices a sign that reads, “Illegal aliens are TERRORISTS. Deport them!” Rumors that immigration enforcement authorities are in the community have started circulating. A parent soon removes her son from school, and he does not return. Principal Robertson seeks information about the family but hesitates to draw attention to their potential lack of legal status.

PROLOGUE: HISTORY OF THE TIV

ABSTRACTThis article introduces a new translation of Akiga Sai's History of the Tiv, a manuscript completed in Tiv by Akiga in 1935. Portions of Akiga's text, translated and annotated by Rupert East, were first published in English by the International African Institute in 1939 as Akiga's Story. But the new translation, available in the online version of the journal, is the first complete one: no section of the Tiv manuscript has been omitted, and the order of the material has been left as originally written by Akiga. This article tells the story of how Harold Bergsma, when working as a secondary school principal in Nigeria, rescued the Tiv typescript from the rubbish bin and deposited it in the University of Ibadan library; and how, some forty-five years later, he assembled a team of Tiv intellectuals to undertake the task of translation. It reflects on some of the linguistic challenges presented by the Tiv text, and draws attention to the rich and varied information the work contains – on clans, genealogies, plant and animal names, food preparation, marriage customs, the religious practices of the Tiv, and Akiga's own experiences of childhood, family, and encounters with akombo and witchcraft. The article is complemented by selections from Chapters 8 and 9 of the new translation, chosen and annotated by Richard Fardon.
