The article describes the results of the research exploring the link between the neurodynamic component of schoolchildren’s psychic activity at the age of 7-12 and the level of mastering the reading skill at school. In the process of the research, we have detected the core neuropsychological criteria correlating with the level of reading technique and text understanding in schoolchildren. The neuropsychological research was made using A.R. Luria’s battery of tests, by G.M. Glosman’s method, adapted to childhood. We also used A.N. Kornyev and O.A. Ishymova’s method of dyslexia diagnostics; texts for the research have been translated into Ukrainian. We have pointed out two age groups of children andanalyzed how neurodynamic deficiency and audio-verbal and visual memory level influence the formation of dyslexia determinants in both of them. In addition, we have addressed the link between child’s development under the age of 1, parents’ complaints at the actual time and the level of a child’s reading technique.

Abstract This paper presents a method to identify switch time from end of linear flow (telf) to transition or boundary-dominated flow (BDF) by utilizing multiple diagnostic plots including a Modified Fetkovich type curve (Eleiott et al. 2019). In this study, we analyzed publicly available production data to analyze transient linear flow behavior and boundary-dominated flow from multiple unconventional reservoirs. This method applies a log-log plot of rate versus time combined with a log-log plot of rate versus material balance time (MBT). In addition to log-log plots, a specialized plot of rate versus square root of time is used to confirm telf. A plot of MBT versus actual time, t, is provided to convert material balance time to actual time, and vice versa. The Modified Fetkovich type curve is used to estimate decline parameters and reservoir properties. Applications of this method using monthly production data from Bakken and Permian Shale areas are presented in this work. Utilizing public data, our comprehensive review of approximately 800 multi-staged fractured horizontal wells (MFHW) from North American unconventional reservoirs found many of them exhibiting linear flow production characteristics. To identify end of linear flow, a log-log plot of rate versus time alone is not sufficient, especially when a well is not operated in a consistent manner. This paper shows using additional diagnostic plots such as rate versus MBT and specialized plots can assist interpreters to better identify end of linear flow. With the end of linear flow determined for these wells, the interpreter can use the telf to forecast future production and estimate reservoir properties using the modified type curve. These diagnostic plots can be added to existing production analysis tools so that engineers can analyze changes in flow regimes in a timely manner, have better understanding of how to forecast their wells, and reduce the uncertainty in estimated ultimate recoveries related to decline parameters.

The authors investigated correlations between self-reported WSDS (Wakayama Smartphone-Dependence Scale) scores and actual time spent using smartphones. The WSDS was one of a set of questionnaires administered to 134 female university students. For iPhone (Apple Inc., CA) users, the Screen Time feature was used to monitor use time. Of three WSDS rankings, subscales 2 (using a smartphone for extended periods of time and neglecting social obligations and other tasks) and 3 (using a smartphone while doing something else and neglect of etiquette) were associated with actual smartphone use time. Subscale 1 (immersion in internet communication) was associated with demographic characteristics. These findings suggest the usefulness of the WSDS.

Introduction. The problem of predicting and preventing of the complications development in the intra- and postoperative period is acutely relevant. There is strong evidence for a correlation between the patient’s preoperative status and the incidence of perioperative complications. At the same time, the search for additional methods for assessing and correcting the preoperative status remains an important task of modern medical science. In the context of this task, more and more attention is being paid to the approaches to diagnosis and treatment developed by osteopathy. Information about such studies for patients planned for abdominal surgery is practically absent in open sources today. The goal of research — is to substantiate the possibility of osteopathic correction inclusion in the measures complex for the preoperative preparation of patients planned for extended abdominal surgery.Materials and methods. The study involved 30 patients planned for extended abdominal surgery. The main and control groups were formed by the method of simple randomization, 15 people were included in each group. The participants of the control group received a standard set of measures for preoperative preparation, and the participants of the main group additionally underwent a course of osteopathic correction. The functioning indicators of the respiratory system [including the rapid shallow breathing index (RSBI) and the maximum value of the negative inspiratory force (NIF)] and the autonomic nervous system (Kerdo index), the pain syndrome severity (assessed by a visual analogue scale), and the actual time of transfer opportunity of patients from intensive care to a profile department (assessed by a modified Aldrete–Kroulik scale).Results. It was found that after the premedication with the previous osteopathic correction course, the number of patients in a state of eutonia has significantly increased, and the number of patients with increased sympathetic tone has decreased. The patients who received osteopathic correction had a statistically significantly lower RSBI index and higher NIF values than those who did not receive the correction (p<0,05). The actual time of the patients transfer to a profile department was also statistically significantly shorter in patients who received osteopathic correction (p<0,05).Conclusion. The obtained results make it possible to recommend the inclusion of osteopathic correction in the complex of measures for the preoperative preparation of patients planned for extended abdominal operations.

Abstract Background and purpose COVID-19 constitutes a worldwide threat, prompting Italian Government to implement specific measures on March 8, 2020, to protect patients and health workers from disease transmission. The impact of preventive measures on daily activity of a radiotherapy facility may hamper the ability to fulfill normal workload burden. Thus, we assessed the number of delivered treatments in a specific observation period after the adoption of preventive measures (since March 11 to April 24, 2020) and compared it with the corresponding period of the year 2019. Materials and methods Overall number of delivered fractions was related to actual time of platform daily activity and reported as a ratio between number of delivered fractions and activity hours (Fr/Hrs). Fr/Hrs were calculated and compared for two different periods of time, March 11–April 24, 2019 (Fr/Hrs1), and March 11–April 24, 2020 (Fr/Hrs2). Results Fr/Hrs1 and Fr/Hrs2 were 2.66 and 2.54 for year 2019 and 2020, respectively, for a Fr/Hrsratio of 1.07 (95% CI 1.03–1.12, p = 0.0005). Fr/Hrs1 was significantly higher than Fr/Hrs2 for SliR and PreciseR, with Fr/Hrsratio of 1.92 (95% CI 1.66–2.23, p < 0.0001) and 1.11 (95% CI 1.03–1.2, p = 0.003), respectively. No significant difference was reported for SynergyR and CyberknifeR with Fr/Hrsratio of 0.99 (95% CI 0.91–1.08, p = 0.8) and 0.9 (95% CI 0.77–1.06, p = 0.2), respectively. Fr/Hrs1 was significantly lower than Fr/Hrs2 for TomotherapyR, with Fr/Hrsratio of 0.88 (95% CI 0.8–0.96, p = 0.007). Conclusion Preventive measures did not influence workload burden performed. Automation in treatment delivery seems to compensate effectively for health workers number reduction.

Abstract The present paper discusses morphological and syntactic structures of time in Russian language. The morphological and syntactic structures are considered part component of time category in Russian language. The morphological categories of time are formed through a various types of expressions .Tenses generally express time relative to the moment of speaking. In some contexts, however, their meaning may be relativized to a point in the past ,present or future which is established in the discourse .Some languages have different verb forms or constructions and that are opposed in meaning not in syntactic category. Hence, the present study traces and compares the syntactical and morphological categories of time that connects the sentence with the reality of the actual time.
