Make a Match; Procedure Text; keaktifan belajar; keterampilan menulis.IMPROVEMENT OF ENGLISH LEARNING ACTIVITY AND OUTCOMES WRITING COMPETENCY IN PROCEDURE TEXT THROUGH MAKE A MATCH LEARNING MODEL FOR STUDENTS CLASS IX STATE MTs 5 BRASS IN 2019/2020 ABSTRAK: This study aims to determine the increase in learning outcomes and student activeness in English learning competency in writing procedure text by applying the Make a Match learning model. The methodology used was the Classroom Action Research model of Kemis and Mc Tagart which was carried out in two cycles, each of which contained planning, action, observation, and reflection activities. Overall (two cycles) the results of this study were that the application of the Make a Match learning model succeeded in increasing the completeness of 2 students (5.71%) to 29 students (82.85%) or an increase of 27 students (77.14%). While student activeness has increased from an average of 25 students in cycle 1 (71.42%), to an average of 32 students in cycle 2 (94.28%).KEYWORDS: Make a Match; Procedure Text; active learning; writing skills.

AbstractThe Semi-manual Structure-sensitive SEARCH-MATCH procedure [Frevel, (1982), Anal. Chem. 54, 691–697] has been automated for the Hewlett-Packard HP 3354 Computer. The software is coded in the interpretive HP LAB BASIC II language. A core file of 1026 selected powder diffraction standards has been compiled covering the common crystalline phases encountered in industry, the ubiquitous crystalline minerals, and prototypes of the more frequently found crystal structures. Solid solutions can be readily identified.

A series of computer programs have been written (collectively called XRDQUAL) for automated identification of XRD patterns. The algorithms used in XRDQUAI, have been selected for maximum compatibility with computerbased calculations and decisions, XRDQUAI relies heavily on probabilistic logic and calculations. The overall sequence used can be divided into three general steps.

The analysis of mixtures of phases which produce complicated composite x-ray powder patterns is greatly facilitated by use of our profile fitting method and the technique of applying it is illustrated with a five-compound mixture. Profile fitting gave higher precision in the determination of the reflection angles and Intensities and resolved overlaps in a much shorter time than with other methods. If the reference standards are obtained with the same precision, a smaller error window width can b e used in the search/match procedure.

An updated d, I-MATCH procedure [Frevel and Adams, Anal. Chem., 40, 1335-1340 (1968)] is described which permits analysts to compare diverse powder-patterns in a quantitative, objective manner. Criteria are established for rating the quality of a diffraction standard. The d, I-MATCH program has been combined with an efficient SEARCH program to facilitate the quantitative matching of multiphase powder patterns.
