A community can serve as a force that pushes national parks to realize sustainable development, while community participation is critical to the relationship between national park protection and community development. Therefore, the present study explored the community’s participation in the construction of Wuyishan National Park (hereinafter referred to as the Park) by means of case analysis and qualitative research. The research outcomes showed that the community’s participation was led by the authorities, which is a typical example of “passive participation”. In addition, the governing body of the Park and its communities did not form a sound organization that enabled them to manage and protect the Park in concerted efforts. In other words, they did not work well together, and had not yet established an effective community participation mechanism. Moreover, there were three major problems about the community’s participation in the Park’s governance: The community lacked the ability to take part in it, its participation took limited forms, and it displayed little initiative in the participation. To solve these problems, the present research proposes four mechanisms to improve community participation regarding technological, structural, social, and institutional resilience, i.e., intelligent guidance mechanism, nested organization mechanism, social mobilization mechanism, and institutional guarantee mechanism, respectively.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many governments established important restrictions on religious freedom. Due to a restrictive interpretation of the right to religious freedom, religion was placed in the category of “non-essential activity” and was, therefore, unprotected. Within this framework, this paper tries to offer a reflection on the relevance of the dual nature of religious freedom as an individual and collective right, since the current crisis has made it clear that the individual dimension of religious freedom is vulnerable when the legal model does not offer an adequate institutional guarantee to the collective dimension of religious freedom.

China has established and implemented marine ecological conservation red line (MECRL) system to strengthen the bottom line constraints and ensure ecological security. This paper introduces the concept of MECRL and the process of overall consideration of the national MECRL delineation, which is defined “spatial-division + differential control measures”. The MECRL in Bohai Sea pilot and delineation of MECRL nationwide are introduced. At present, MECRL accounts for about 30 percent of the total coastal management area, providing a good institutional guarantee for protecting marine ecology and guiding the good formation of a scientific marine spatial layout in china.

In the context of the new era, countries are constantly competing and cooperating in the field of cyberspace. China is facing an increasingly complex international environment. Meanwhile, the number of domestic cyber citizens is increasing and the structure is diversified, the incidence of cyber misconduct is increasing significantly. However, policies and laws for cyberspace governance in China are relatively imperfect. Facing with these challenges, China can carry out the practice of cyberspace governance from three aspects: pay attention to internet technology innovation, promote the governance model with multi-actors participation, and improve institutional guarantee.

Under the background of the steady progress of the structural reform of the agricultural supply side, the rural ecological agriculture in the transition stage is faced with a series of bottlenecks and problems such as the lag of production technology renewal, the single management mechanism and the aggravation of environmental degradation. It is difficult to effectively form a new form of green, coordinated and sustainable development. Therefore, we should make full use of the favorable conditions such as policy support and institutional guarantee given by the structural reform of the agricultural supply side, and introduce efficient and innovative production and management models around the industrial upgrading, so as to promote the low-carbon, intensive and diversified transformation of the existing ecological agriculture operation system.
