Preliminary layout of the main technological equipment of a self-propelled machine with a rod mechanism for installing and fixing the end tower for a mobile ropeway

Mobile ropeways for carrying out transport operations, formed with the help of terminal transport units connected by a single cable system on the basis of self-propelled wheeled or tracked chassis of increased carrying capacity and cross-country ability, are a promising type of lifting and transport equipment that ensures the rapid deployment of the necessary technological means. The article discusses the issues of preliminary arrangement of the rod mechanism for installation and fixation in the working position of the end tower using a folding rod consisting of two articulated links for a constructive variant of the outrigger placement of the tower on a rotary platform. The design and principle of operation of the rod mechanism is considered. A mathematical model has been developed that provides the required normative vertical dimension of a self-propelled vehicle for the purpose of its safe independent movement to the deployment site on general-purpose highways. The analysis of the influence of normative dimensional requirements, the structural dimensions of the bearing frame of the chassis and the height of the end tower on the main structural dimensions of the articulated folding rod in the transport position is carried out.

Chapter 3 examines how biblical poems participate in different literary patterns, or “forms,” both in terms of their familiar thematic movements and their structural dimensions. Fictitious Meals, Culinary Constraints: The Recipe Form in Four Oulipian Texts

This article looks into fictitious meals and the use of culinary recipe form in experimental and procedural literature, namely, works of constrained writing associated with OuLiPo (Ouvroir de Littérature Potentielle). The recipe form is first scrutinized from the procedural, structural, and historical viewpoints, also concerning its lesser-known imaginative and esoteric genealogy. In addition, its connections to the notions of narrativity and fiction are discussed. The recipe's relationship to action is depicted by a simple procedural model. There is a metaphorical and conceptual, but also formal and operational, similarity between the coded procedures of cooking and writing. A recipe is a procedure, a script for an infinity of possible meals, and a literary procedure is a recipe for writing. It is not surprising, then, that Oulipian writers have utilized the recipe form in their food-related works. Four such literary recipes (by Georges Perec, Jacques Roubaud, Harry Mathews, and Alastair Brotchie) are closely examined, after discussion of key concepts of Oulipian poetics from the culinary viewpoint. The article's special point of reference is the parodic, satirical, absurd, and other humorous meanings that literary recipes often seem to produce, which is linked to the operational and structural dimensions of the recipe—its comically posited procedural form.

Dimensional research on organization structure: meta-analysis and conceptual redirection

A previous meta-analysis of dimensional structure research published during the latter half of the 20th century revealed significant intercorrelation among structural dimensions inspired by Max Weber's bureaucratic ideal type, providing support for continued research on dimensional structures and for the bureaucratic structural model that served as its theoretical foundation. A new meta-analysis reported in this article, motivated by questions regarding the continued applicability of bureaucratic dimensional models in the later era of new organization forms, indicates that many of the interrelationships among five structural dimensions (formalization, standardization, specialization, vertical differentiation, and decentralization) have weakened since the time of the earlier meta-analysis. The results of this study, conducted using a sample of 346 correlations from a collection of 155 published articles, are interpreted as failing to provide consistent evidence supporting a central tenet of the bureaucratic structural model, therefore, as indicating that dimensional structural research now lacks a viable theoretical foundation.

Desain Struktur Atas Gedung Rawat Inap 3 Lantai RSUD Nganjuk Menggunakan Standart Nasional Indonesia (SNI)

The hospital building is one of the building facilities that is developed continuously. The building was built as an effort to fulfill health facilities. In its construction, the hospital building must be properly planned so that it is safe to use. Planning includes the design and calculation of structural details. Several hospitals in the Nganjuk area added building units to meet the needs of the community, one of which was the Nganjuk Hospital which added a building to support services. Planning a multi-storey building is a solution because it will be able to accommodate many patients. This plan aims to plan the structure of the Nganjuk Regional General Hospital Building. The planning carried out includes the calculation of structural dimensions, calculation of loading, and calculation of reinforcement which were analyzed using SAP2000 software. The calculation results show that the dimensions of the columns used are 40/40 and 15/15 for practical columns, the dimensions of the beams are 35/50 and 30/40 and 25/35. Reinforcement on beams obtained diameters of 16 and 10 mm, reinforcement on columns obtained diameters of 19 and 10 mm, while on plates obtained diameters of 10 mm. Thus, these results can be used as a reference in the implementation of the construction of the Nganjuk Regional General Hospital Building.

Anglican Church of Southern Africa: Safe and Inclusive Church Commission

The process of creating a Safe and Inclusive Church (SIC) Commission within the Anglican Church of the Province of SouthernAfrica (ACSA) is not unique in the Communion. This article seeks to explore ACSA’s specific journey to date, with a view to engaging the Communion in a learning partnership. While some of the process of establishing this ministry may be unique, there are places of commonality as we jointly grapple with the call of our Lord Jesus to continue to build the Kingdom of God in contemporary times. Most specifically, this process has highlighted a need for renewal of the Church in both our theological understanding and how we organize to best serve our call to preach the Good News. These theological and structural dimensions of ‘doing church’ speak deeply into our ‘being church’ and are at the heart of why dialogue is needed as a Communion. We offer this article as an invitation to continue discerning together how best to follow and serve our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ by being His Body to a broken and wounded world.

From randomized control trial to mixed methods: A practical framework for program evaluation based on methodological quality

La evidencia utilizada al tomar decisiones sobre el diseño, implementación y evaluación en los programas de intervención debe ser metodológicamente sólida. Dependiendo del contexto de la intervención, se pueden aplicar diferentes metodologías. Sin embargo, el contexto de la intervención es a menudo inestable y, para adaptarse a las circunstancias cambiantes, se hace necesario modificar el plan original. El marco propuesto en este documento se basa en enfoques que pueden considerarse dos extremos de un continuo (diseños experimentales / cuasiexperimentales y estudios basados en metodología observacional). En condiciones de contexto de intervención inestable, esto permite tomar decisiones desde un enfoque de calidad metodológica en cuanto a diseño, medición y análisis. Las dimensiones estructurales, i.e., las unidades (participantes, usuarios), el tratamiento (actividades del programa), los resultados (incluidas las decisiones sobre los instrumentos a utilizar y la recopilación de datos), el entorno (contexto de implementación) y el tiempo se detallarán como parte del marco práctico. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo especificar el grado de correspondencia / complementariedad entre componentes en estas dimensiones estructurales de la evaluación de un programa desde una perspectiva de complementariedad práctica basada en la calidad metodológica. The evidence used when making decisions about the design, implementation and evaluation in intervention programs should be methodologically sound. Depending on the context of the intervention, different methodologies may apply. Nonetheless, the intervention context is often unstable and, to adapt to changing circumstances, it sometimes becomes necessary to modify the original plan. The framework proposed herein draws on approaches that can be considered two extremes of a continuum (experimental/quasi-experimental designs and studies based on observational methodology). In unstable intervention context conditions, this enables decisions from a methodological quality approach regarding design, measurement, and analysis. Structural dimensions, i.e., units (participants, users), treatment (program activities), outcomes (results, including decisions about the instruments to use and data gathering), setting (implementation context) and time will be detailed as part of the practical framework. The present study aims to specify the degree of correspondence/complementarity between components in these structural dimensions of a program evaluation from a practical complementarity perspective based on methodological quality.

ELABORATION OF THE POLARIZER’S CONSTRUCTION FOR WORK IN Ka-RANGE

The problems of polarizer`s construction over the basis of the circular waveguide for a work in Ka – range are highlighted in the article. The purpose of the article is to establish the possibility of using the proposed design for the construction of high-tech Ka-band polarizers and to prove the correctness of analytical expressions for determining the structural dimensions by experimentally obtained characteristics. The analysis of the current decisions from the point of view of construction and technology is held. On the conclusion had been drawn more technological polarizer`s construction with the calculation of the main constructive sizes is proposed. Theoretical principles of construction and calculation of structural dimensions of the C and Ku ranges polarizers’ phase-shifting sections are covered in detail in the works of modern researchers and tested on real devices . However, while constructing AFT elements designed to operate in higher frequency operating bands, such as the Ka – band (20/30 GHz), there are certain difficulties, the solution of which continues. In order to check the proposed decision experimental model of polarizer was made and investigation of the main characteristics corroborating the right theoretical assumption was held. For a practical study of the proposed design, a mock-up of a polarizer based on a round waveguide with an inner diameter of 11 millimeters was made. In the prototype, the rod structure was implemented in the form of five pairs of adjusting screws with a diameter of one millimeter. The final length of the polarizing plate, taking into account the smooth transitions designed to align the plate with the waveguide, was defined as the sum of the lengths of its regular part and one smooth transition multiplied by 0.9. The experimentally obtained characteristics confirm the possibility of using the proposed design for the construction of high-tech Ka-band polarizers, and the correctness of analytical expressions for the determining the structural dimensions. A further development of the proposed solution may be the analysis and finding the necessary analytical relationships between the structural dimensions of the rod and dielectric structures in order to expand the operating range of the polarizer.

Telling Stories about Sexual Violence, Victimization, and Agency in Militarized Settings

In this article, I contribute to a debate among feminist scholars on whether survivors of sexual violence should be seen as passive victims or as agents who possess the capacity to resist or actively fight back against their assailants. I probe this question in the context of militarized settings, following those scholars who have challenged the constructions of victimhood and agency as a binary and who have instead conceptualized survivors as both victimized and agential. My aim is to bring into conversation feminist analyses with key concepts drawn from Pierre Bourdieu's social theory. I argue that Bourdieu's work not only elucidates structural dimensions of lived experience, but also casts light on how survivors might infuse their actions with meaning in times of crisis. In so doing, I further confront objections that personal testimonies and stories fail to capture the structural, often invisible, forces that shape lived experience. I illustrate my argument through a reading of the wartime journal, A Woman in Berlin. By way of conclusion, I reflect on what Bourdieusian insights into power relations, agency, and narrative bring to feminist discussions on the constraints faced by those recounting survivor stories in public forums in pursuit of recognition and justice.

Construction of structural dimensions of organizational human capital competitive advantage

PurposeThis paper aims to clarify the factors that affect the formation of organizational human capital competitive advantage (OHCCA) and construct its structural dimensions.Design/methodology/approachThis research method adopted grounded theory using 20 interviews of managers from 10 companies. Relevant literature was reviewed to conduct open coding, Axial coding and selective coding to ensure OHCCA concept and dimensions.FindingsStudies have shown that OHCCA formation of results from investment and collaboration of three levels: organization, teams and departments and employees. OHCCA formation is composed of three dimensions of organizational human capital investment: planning, practice and stock.Research limitations/implicationsThis research enriches the organizational human capital and competitive advantage theories.Practical implicationsThe practical significance is to provide theoretical and practical guidance for organizations in creating OHCCAs.Originality/valueThis research is the first to propose and define the OHCCA concept and construct a three-dimensional structure model. Furthermore, this research has revealed the leading factors that affect OHCCA's formation process.
