This study aims to improve the athlete's performance from the physiological aspect by knowing the differences in the response of sport massage and swedish massage with variations in pressure (light, medium, and heavy) on the hind limbs a 30 m running speed taken four times. This research is a quasi-experimental design, with the research subjects of POPDA Sleman athletic athletes with sample of 20 people. The sample was divided by matching pairs with the aim of both groups getting a balanced power. The treatments used are sports massage with movement manipulation (effleurage, tapotement, shaking/vibration) and swedish massage with movement manipulation (drainage, compression, tapotement, shaking/vibration) with pressure variation. The results showed that there were differences in the effect/good response of the type of sports massage treatment (group x) with moderate pressure. This is evidenced by the results of an increase in record time by an average of 0.36 seconds. Treatment of light pressure increased record time by an average of 0.28 seconds. Heavy pressure treatment increased record time by an average of 0.04 seconds. There is a difference in the effect/unfavorable response of the type of swedih massage treatment (group y) with all types of pressure, because it provides a decreased response time from pretest to posttest. It is proven by the decrease in the average time of 0.16 seconds on the light pressure treatment, the decrease in the average time of 0.24 seconds on the medium pressure treatment, and a decrease of 0.34 seconds on the heavy pressure treatment.

Several so-called Distanzangaben (lit. “designations of distance”), found in Assyrian inscriptions, record time spans between events (mainly building activities) of Assyrian rulers. Such chronological data have mostly been studied as entities (for purposes of absolute chronology), and only rarely with regard to their composition. While some of the Distanzangaben can be explained as mere summations of the regnal years recorded in the Assyrian King List, others remain enigmatic. The present article attempts to trace the composition of every Distanzangabe. For those compiled by Tiglath-pileser I and Esarhaddon, ideological purposes seem to be implied. The one compiled by Sennacherib sheds light on the chronology of Tiglath-pileser I's campaigns.

The COVID-19 pandemic represents some of the most distressing challenges for health systems all over the world in the past decades, forcing clinicians to modify standards, prioritise treating conditions that require immediate care, and implement elements of remote attention in record time (Douglas et al., 2020). These challenges have also had an impact in the population’s oral health.

We will discuss (…) the need for ethics in times of crisis. Many people consider ethics and bioethics and the call for principles to be bureaucratic obstacles to obtaining a rapid response from the population, for example, to achieve vaccines in record time, to immunize the population, to establish unpopular but necessary measures, such as closing borders and non-compliance with fundamental principles of the European Union, establishing public policies aimed at herd immunity or, conversely, closing most activities considered essential in the economy, to ensure social distancing and self-isolation of the population. These measures are understood as derogations from ethics or bioethics when targeting medical research on human subjects performed faster than required by standard procedure, or the implementation of innovative therapeutic practices that have not previously been studied by clinical trials to certify that there are no known side effects.

In what is a global record time of getting the COVID-19 vaccines available within 11 months, the world has equally been faced with several myths and conspiracy theories dissuading the public from accepting vaccination as an important measure in the response to the pandemic. We reviewed the leading conspiracy theories and balanced these with the scientific basis of viral transmission and replication and the broad role of vaccination in tackling this challenge. We briefly examined the design of the leading vaccines, and provided recommendations for worldwide COVID-19 distribution, acceptance and use. The technological advancement in IT has brought about the need for computer usage in all areas of human life and endeavors, education sector also. The traditional method of conducting exams is often characterized by questions leakages, human errors during marking of students scripts and recording of students scores. This work, An Enhanced Exam Management System was, therefore, born out of the will to solve the problems plaguing the conventional (paper-based) examination system by providing a campus-wide service for e-assessment devoid of dishonest conduct and equally enhances quick feedback. The developed system which uses a combination of HTML, PHP, MySQL reduces the proportion of workload on examination, grading and reviewing on the part of examiners. The system also enables the release of exam results in record time and without errors. Thus, this system can serve as a solution for mass education evaluation and offers many features that cannot be implemented in paper-based system.
