There is a timeliness to Gilbert Simondon’s call in On the Mode of Existence of Technical Objects (1958) for a technical culture that fosters a ”genuine awareness of technical realities.” Writing in the context of mid-20th century France, Simondon worried about a lack of technological understanding and envisaged a technical culture in which technological education would be considered as essential as literacy to meaningful participation in society. Sixty years on, the need for widespread technological awareness is greater than ever. The aim of this article is to clarify and support this claim by examining it through the lens of a politics of problems that can be found in Deleuze’s Difference and Repetition (1968).

THE RUPESTRAL PAINTINGS OF THE NORTHEAST TRADITION IN THE SERIDÓ REGION, RN, IN THE CONTEXT OF BRAZILIAN RUPESTRY ART ABSTRACTThis article is a reflection on the cave paintings of the Northeast tradition in the archaeological region of Seridó, which still need detailed studies of their vast archaeological collection. It can be said that, in parallel to the paintings in the Serra da Capivara National Park in the state of Piauí, the rock paintings ensembles of Seridó represent the largest graphic heritage in the northeast of Brazil. This statement is not just based on the number of sites and records, but on the wealth of images that they represent. They portray the numerous activities of the daily and ceremonial life of the peoples who did them, as well as the manifestation of the material, immaterial and technical culture of indigenous abstract thought in Brazilian prehistory.Keyword: Rock Art; Seridó; Northeast tradition.

Pests and diseases are one of the obstacles in increasing production and productivity of shallots. The study was conducted in Subak Rejasa Klod, Rejasa Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency - Bali Province. Research was conducted in June-November 2019, using a split plot randomized block design. The main plot is shallot varieties (V) and the subplot of the technical culture innovation (P). The main plot (V) consists of 2 treatment shallots namely Bali Karet (V1) and Lokal Tabanan (V2) and the plot consisting of 3 treatment of technical culture namely existing (P1); improvement (P2); and introduction (P3). Data on growth components and crop yields are analyzed using diversity analysis and continued with the DMRT test. Analysis of farming businesses was analyzed using B/C ratio and MBCR analysis. The results showed that Spodopthera exigua and Altenaria porri at V1 are lower than V2. The highest dry weight per hectare was obtained in the Bali Karet (V1) of 20,89 tons/ha. Introduction technology (P3) is the best innovation of dry weight-weight producing per hectare on irrigation land.. The value of B/C ratio and MBCR is 1.73 and 3.06 for introduction technology. It was concluded that introduction technology was effective as innovation of pest controllers and main diseases and were able to improve the yield of the Bali Karet variety on irrigation land.

AbstractGarlic (Allium sativum L.) has so many benefits, which should be followed by an increase in productivity. But in the field of garlic cultivation has not been able to meet the demand of the market, so do import to fulfill. Many factors cause low productivity of garlic, starting from low quality seeds, to pest and disease disorders. Proper pest control will also help increase the productivity of garlic, where control can be done by identifying the pest first. Then the technical culture is controlled and the use of biological agents. Therefore, socialization was carried out regarding the introduction and control of garlic pests (both on land and in the post harvest warehouse) which was followed by members of the Ngudi Rahayu Farmer Group, Cepit, Pagergunung, Bulu, Temanggung, Central Java. Based on the results of extension activities, knowledge and farmers will be the introduction of the pest control increased by 39% compared to before their extension activities. From the activities that have been carried out it can be concluded that farmers carry out control in a way that has been carried down for generations, farmers' understanding of pest control has increased after socialization activities, therefore it is necessary to provide periodic assistance to farmers, so that the results of counseling can have a real impact on increasing garlic production.Key Word: Farmers, garlic, pest, socialization

The conclusion synthesizes algorithmic information ordering into a typology of ordering gestures, paying particular attention to the modes of disassembly and reassembly that inform the underlying techniques. The attempt to distill an operational epistemology from the cacophony of techniques begs the question whether we are witnessing the emergence of a new épistémè (Foucault, 2005), a far-reaching set of regularities that characterize order is understood and operationalized. Furthermore, the chapter addresses the more immediately pressing need to understand how the capacity to algorithmically arrange individuals, populations, and everything in-between in dynamic and goal-oriented ways relates to contemporary forms of capitalism. To face this challenge, the chapter comes back to Simondon’s mechanology and its broader cousin, technical culture, as a means to promote a ‘widening’ of technical imagination and appropriation.
