Testing of software remains a fundamentally significant way to check that software behaves as required. Component-based software testing (CBST) is a crucial activity of component-based software development (CBSD) and is based on two crucial proportions: components testing by developers with the source code (e.g., system testing, integration testing, unit testing, etc.) and components testing by end users without source code (black box testing). This work proposes a black box testing technique that calculates the total number of interactions made by component-based software. This technique is helpful to identify the number of test cases for those components where availability of source code is questionable. On the basis of interaction among components, the authors draw a component-link graph and a direct-indirect-link matrix, which helps to calculate the number of interactions in component-based software.

Microservices have been applied on several major systems including airlines. The characteristics of microservices which are independent and also interconnected need to be tested. The testing is done to preserve the system’s sequential stage processes, especially the online ticket reservation. Four features which are the search, booking, payment, and booking info feature are tested. This research performed three stages of testing on the microservices, those are unit testing, integrity testing, and end-to-end testing. Unit testing was conducted to test every function on every nodule, integrity testing was done to test interconnection between microservices, and end-to-end testing was to test the final results obtained after the unit test and integrity test were carried out. The three stages of testing must be done sequentially. The system on the airline provides the valid or correct response. Three stages of testing can be applied on other airlines by obtaining a legal API and can be accessed publicly.

The present economic situation across the globe calls for intense efforts to maximize production in minimum throughput time and cost to enhance operating performance and the quality of products. The problem with manufacturing/ testing goods forces the process owners to be organised and direct attention to minimise the global throughput time within the manufacturing enterprise. Minimising time has a chain effect to enhance the worth of manufacturing/testing processes. The minimisation of cycle time consequently enhances the quality. This report describes an  improvement process based on lean thinking in order to reduce throughput time of limited test (Denier test) for grading silk quality. For an  implementation of the adaptive work, it is important to know about the time needed for the various steps involved adding their time to find the total time in the existing system by process mapping to find opportunities to reduce time. The results of the study show that time can be reduced in theprocess of limited test from 350 min to 220 min (Multiendsilk) and from 246 to 133 min. (cottage basin)eliminating various causes such as waiting time, absenteeism so on thus improving throughput time. The novelty of the study is that it is the first one to apply total quality management concept in silk testing unit for throughput time reduction from which a standard table has been created for limited test (avoiding non value added activities) for referring for throughput time involved to complete silk denier test faster. Keywords: Multiend silk, Cottage basin silk, throughput time, Kilcha, Denier

The importance of creating psychodiagnostic equipment, taking into account modern informational capabilities, is considered. The purpose of the work is to develop a conceptual model of an information processing system with the ability to represent two- and three-dimensional test signals, remote control of the testing process, data collection and storage on a remote server. The use of the IoT concept is proposed to create a conceptual model of an information processing system with a remote control function. The structure of an information processing system containing a control unit, a testing unit, an unit for receiving and transmitting data, and an unit for processing and storage data is considered. The components of the testing unit and their interaction with each other and the components of receiving and transmitting data are considered. A description of the devices for 2- and 3- dimensional test signals is given. A model of the device “Cube” for the three-dimensional representation of light signals has been created. The structure of the information processing system database has been developed and presented.

The provision of superior genotype having stable yield and<br />quality is a prerequisite for the productivity and quality improvement of<br />small white ginger. Research to study stability of yield and quality was<br />undertaken on six promising genotypes with two control variety by multi<br />environmental tests in four locations (Sukabumi, Sumedang, Majalengka,<br />and Garut) for two growing seasons from 2004-2006. The experiment<br />used a randomized block design with three replicates, 60 cm x 40 cm plant<br />spacing, 100 plants per plot. Parameters observed were fresh rhizome<br />yield and quality (essential oil content, total phenolic content, water<br />soluble extract, and alcohol soluble extract). Stability analysis was<br />undertaken based on Yau and Hamblin method. Genotype ZIOF-0049 and<br />ZIOF-0050 produced the high rhizome weight and considered to be<br />relatively stable at four locations. Essential oils content of ZIOF-0049<br />were medium (2,92%) and ZIOF-0050 were high (3,28%). Genotypes that<br />have high content of essential oil (3,91%) and stable in various testing unit<br />was ZIOF-0046. In addition to the essential oil content, genotypes ZIOF-<br />0046 also had phenol (3,04%) and water-soluble extract (24,40%) content<br />were high. Genotype ZIOF-0008 has a high volatile oil content (3,64%)<br />and stable in various testing unit. Four genotypes ZIOF-0049, ZIOF-0050,<br />ZIOF-0046 and ZIOF-0008 showed stable in rhizome yield and quality<br />characters. That were deserves to be recommended as superior genotypes<br />and wide adaptation.<br />Key words: Zingiber officinale var. amarum, small white ginger, genetic<br />and environment interaction, yield, quality</p>
