560 Vacuum Assisted Dressing can be Used as an Effective Dressing Over Non-cultured, Autologous Skin Cell Suspension (ASCS) Combined with Wide Meshed Split Thickness Autografts (mSTSG)

Introduction There are accounts of various dressings being applied over epidermal spray cell suspension graft(s) (SCSG) with varying success and no one perfect dressing. We present 3 patients with ASCS grafts used in combination with mSTSG that were treated with vacuum assisted dressing with excellent outcomes. Methods All 3 of our patients received surgical debridement, down to healthy viable tissue with exposed tendon. BTM Dermal matrix was used in 2 of the 3 patients with exposed tendon. All three patients had mSTSG with ACSS autografts. All grafts were covered with telfa ™ clear, followed by tacky macroporous silver dressing, then a vacuum assisted closure device. These were left undisturbed until post operative day (POD) 5. Results All patients had their dressings taken down on POD #5 with excellent results. The interstices were closed quickly with no negative outcome noted from the vacuum dressings. All patients had excellent wound closure and good function postoperatively. Conclusions Vacuum assisted closure devices can be used to cover ASCS and wide meshed grafts with good outcomes. They provide patients with a stable dressing that does not need to be changed and leads to excellent graft take and wound closure.

Penguatan materi dan metodologi Pendidikan Agama Islam

<p class="15bIsiAbstractBInggris"><em>Ideality, Islamic Religious Education must have a good function according to develop religious people in the world. Namely, the people that just have not only depth understanding of Islamic teaching, but they also have good affection and implementation of their religion in daily life. The character of people that want to produce by Islamic Religious Education, besides the people that have good believing, piety, good character, but also the people that have a good balance between individual piety and social piety. Besides that, they also develop a prophetic mission. Namely in producing peace, harmony, humanity, and welfare for all people in the world. But in the reality, the ideality of Islamic Religious Education was not yet could be implemented in their daily life. There are still a distinction and gap between individual piety and social piety. Besides that, sometimes they used religion as a tool in according to get some contradiction goals with the mission of religion its self. Namely, sometimes they used a radical approach based on Islamic Religion according to achieve their aims. By refer to many authoritative references, this article, besides want to describe the vision, mission, and goal of Islamic Religious Education, but also wants to identify some factors that influenced it and the method to solve it, through Islamic Religious Education.</em></p><p class="15cKeywordsBInggris"> </p><p class="16aJudulAbstrak"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p class="16bIsiAbstrak">Idealnya, Pendidikan Agama Islam berfungsi dengan baik sesuai dengan perkembangan umat beragama di dunia. Yakni, orang-orang yang tidak hanya memahami ajaran Islam secara mendalam, tetapi juga memiliki akhlak yang baik dan menerapkan agamanya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Karakter orang yang ingin dihasilkan dari Pendidikan Agama Islam, selain orang yang beriman, takwa, budi pekerti, juga orang yang memiliki keseimbangan yang baik antara kesalehan individu dan kesalehan sosial. Selain itu, mereka juga mengembangkan misi profetik. Yakni dalam menghasilkan perdamaian, keharmonisan, kemanusiaan, dan kesejahteraan bagi seluruh manusia di dunia. Namun pada kenyataannya cita-cita Pendidikan Agama Islam masih belum bisa diimplementasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Masih ada perbedaan dan kesenjangan antara kesalehan individu dan kesalehan sosial. Selain itu terkadang mereka menggunakan agama sebagai alat untuk mendapatkan tujuan yang bertentangan dengan misi agama itu sendiri. Yakni, terkadang mereka menggunakan pendekatan radikal berdasarkan Agama Islam sesuai dengan tujuannya. Dengan mengacu pada banyak referensi yang otoritatif, artikel ini selain ingin mendeskripsikan visi, misi, dan tujuan Pendidikan Agama Islam, tetapi juga ingin mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya dan cara menyelesaikannya, melalui Pendidikan Agama Islam.</p>

PENGARUH DIAMETER PIRINGAN DAN ELASTISITAS KARET PENGUPAS TERHADAP KINERJA ALAT PENGUPAS LADA TIPE PIRINGAN

To produce while pepper using traditional method, the ripe berries are soaked in a river or a pond for 10-14 days prior to decorticating. To improve the traditional method. Research Institute for Spice and Medicinal Crops has designed pepper decorticator to support the white pepper processing. This decorticator has a good function, hut its performance still need to be improved, as it still produces high percentage of white pepper damage. This experiment was aimed to at improving (he performance of the pepper decorticator. The experiment was conducted from July to Ocktobcr 1999 and divided into two steps i.e. preliminary and main experiment. The treatments applied on Ihe main experiment were (I) disc diameter (18, 20, and 22 cm) and (2) rubber elasticity (5.34, 7.74, 9.79, and 15.02 N/mm). The experiment was designed as a completely randomized, arranged factorially in three replications. The pepper variety used for the experiment was Lampung Daun Lebar. The disc distance of pepper decorticator in this experiment was set at 3.5 cm based on the preliminary experiment. Results showed that the optimal disc diameter and nibber elasticity was 20 cm and 7.74 N/mm respectively. Decorticator performance on the optimal condition were : decorticated pepper 97.25%, white pepper damage as pepper defect 2.46% and as broken pepper 1.98% respectively and the capacity of decorticator was 42.27 kg/hours. In general, the quality of while pepper produced met the National Standard of Indonesia.

Psychological Well-Being Warga Binaan Lapas Wanita Kelas IIA Sukamiskin Bandung Menjelang Pembebasan

A good level psychological well-being is important for inmates’ prerelease to have a good function in their new surroundings and as a predictor of resilience. Women inmates who will be release can have psychologicall distress that have negative consequences to their level of psychological well-being. The aim of this research is to see psychological well-being in inmates’ during their prerelease. This is a descriptive and quantitative research using 42-item Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale. The respondents were 33 inmates’ during their prerelease time in Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Wanita Klas IIA Sukamiskin Bandung (Women Prison in Sukamiskin Bandung) and were taken using accidental sampling in non-random sampling method. The data then were analyzed by using distribution of frequency in the percentations. The level of psychological well-being was divided into three categories: high, middle, and low psychological well-being, and the result of this research shows that most of the inmates’ have moderate level of psychological well-being. High scores were mostly found in positive relation to others dimension and low scores were mostly found in self-acceptance dimension.Keyword: prerelease, psychological well-being, inmates AbstrakPsychological well-being yang baik diperlukan warga binaan menjelang pembebasan agar dapat memaksimalkan potensi untuk beradaptasi di lingkungan masyarakat dan sebagai prediktor tingkat resiliensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat psychological well being warga binaan menjelang masa pembebasan. Metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan alat ukur 42-item Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale. Jumlah sampel 33 warga binaan menjelang bebas di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Wanita Klas IIA Sukamiskin Bandung yang dipilih dengan metode non-random sampling melalui teknik accidental sampling. Analisis data berupa persentasi distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian sebagian besar psychological well-being warga binaan menjelang pembebasan dalam kategori sedang. Skor dalam kategori tinggi paling banyak ditemukan pada dimensi hubungan positif dengan orang lain, sedangkan skor dalam kategori rendah paling banyak ditemukan pada dimensi penerimaan diri.Kata kunci: masa kebebasan, psychological well-being, warga binaan pemasyarakatan

ANALISA MANFAAT EKONOMI DAN PERAN LEMBAGA PETANI TAMBAK (Studi Deskriptif di Desa Ambeng-ambeng Watang rejo Kecamatan Duduk Sampeyan Kabupaten Gresik)

Fishery aquaculture activities become the core livelihood in some communities in rural areas. This study describes the value of economic benefits and the role of pond farming institutions in the community that became the needs and daily livelihoods. This research observes how the value of economic benefits and how the role of pond farming institutions in the Village of Ambeng-ambeng Watangrejo Duduk Sampeyan District Gresik.The results of this study conclude that the economic benefit value for the farmers is not profitable and even a loss. The role of farmer groups that have not yet had a good function. Group "Usaha Tani" is still not maximized in performing its role as economic institution of the community in the village Ambeng-ambeng Watangrejo Duduk Sampeyan District Gresik. Three indicators that they can play are the guidance of exchange of goods / barter, the guidance of how to pay, and as the identity of the community. But there are three other indicators that they have not done in their role as economic institutions that is as a guideline to determine food prices, buying and selling guidelines and use labor guidelines.
