The article presents examples of additive manufactured products obtained using MIG /MAG welding processes (13). The research-related tests revealed that it is possible to make products of unalloyed steels having the structure similar to castings subjected to heat treatment. Products made of maraging steel require homogenising (heat treatment). It is possible to produce bimetallic products, e.g. unalloyed steel-bronze.

Abstract Patinax 355P is a weathering steel that due to its chemical composition, when utilized unprotected, exhibits resistance to atmospheric corrosion over unalloyed steels. Patinax 355P has increased phosphorus content for improved weather resistance compared with Patinax 355 (Alloy Digest SA-803, October 2017). This datasheet provides information on composition and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on corrosion resistance as well as forming, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SA-805. Producer or source: ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe AG.
