CLINICAL PROCEDURE OF IMMEDIATE DENTIN SEALING FOR INDIRECT BONDED RESTORATION

Immediate Dentin Sealing or pre-hybridization implies the application of resin adhesive to freshly cut dentin after teeth preparation, before impression. Immediate Dentin Sealing has been suggested as an alternative to the delayed dentin sealing (DDS), a technique in which resin adhesive is applied just before final bonding of indirect restorations. Immediate Dentin Sealing technique is universal i.e used in inlays, onlays, veneers, crowns and well documented clinically and experimentally. Various types of Dentin Bonding Agents are available on the market. Difference lies in the thickness of hybrid layer formed and the adhesive used.

Analysis of the physcial properties of particleboard from a mixture of cocoa pod peel powder and styrofoam

<p><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong><strong></strong></p><p><strong><em>Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of optimal physical properties and microstructure on particleboard samples. The percentage variations of cocoa pod peel powder mixture, styrofoam with epoxy resin adhesive were sample A (69:0:30), sample B (68:2:30), sample C (67:3:30), and sample D (66:4:30). 6:30). The materials were compressed were a hot press and a conditioning time of 14 days. sThe most optimum particleboard sample was found in sample B with values of density, moisture content, and thickness expansion, respectively 0,80 g/cm</em></strong><strong><em>²</em></strong><strong><em>, 7,74%, and 9,32%, and met the standards of SNI 03-2105- 2006. Calcium carbonate modified urea–formaldehyde resin adhesive for strength enhanced medium density fiberboard production

Reactions between CaCO3 and CH2O2 during polycondensation of UF resin produce Ca2+. Ionic bond complexation binds Ca2+ with UF resin. The UF resin crystalline percentage decreases from 26.86% to 22.71%. IB strength of resin bonded fiberboard increases from 0.75 to 0.94 MPa.
