Generalized indicator of qualimetry objects quality of various nature The article presents a methodology for determining a generalized quality indicator of qualimetry objects of various nature, including products, technological process, system, or anything that is subject to assessment. Based on the analysis of the existing nonlinear relationships between the measured quality indicator and its assessment on a dimensionless scale, a method based on the use of generalized quality indicators is proposed. Structures in architecture acts as a load-bearing element on mechanical systems. In addition, structures can also provide spatial and aesthetic expressions in architectural with the use of certain techniques and materials that bring out the structure expression. The problem discuss in this paper relates to aesthetic parameters used to examine the structural expression on architectural. The research method used is descriptive analytical method conducted with study of the literature on aesthetics, based on parameters: visual complexity, texture and colour, symmetry of the form and familiarity using the case study of Ship Passenger Terminal building such as Qingdao Cruise Passanger Terminal, Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and Salerno Maritime Terminal.The result shows that visual complexity parameter were exposure the form of curved structures and folding structures, the use of lattice, single-mass, and different building imagery. The texture and colour parameter are subtle textures with curved patterns, use of aluminium or concrete materials,and ivory white to bring out the buildings with the color of the sea.The symmetry of the form parameter shows a natural scale, a rectangular geometric shape that is subjected to addition or subtraction, and the proportion 2:1 between the envelope and open façade. The familiarity parameter is repetition of asymmetric curved patterns form make rhythm that raises perception of the visual aesthetic of the building.

Abstract In this paper, we formulate the Mimetic theory of gravity in first-order formalism for differential forms, i.e., the mimetic version of Einstein-Cartan-Sciama-Kibble (ECSK) gravity. We consider different possibilities on how torsion is affected by Weyl transformations and discuss how this translates into the interpolation between two different Weyl transformations of the spin connection, parameterized with a zero-form parameter λ. We prove that regardless of the type of transformation one chooses, in this setting torsion remains as a non-propagating field. We also discuss the conservation of the mimetic stress-energy tensor and show that the trace of the total stress-energy tensor is not null but depends on both, the value of λ and spacetime torsion.

AbstractIndicators, different in terms of nature and grading scales, are used to recognise hazardous and harmful factors that affect human health. However, no single methodology is available for their assessment, and the variety of qualimetric assessment methods requires in-depth research, in part on optimality and efficiency. Therefore, this work aimed to conduct several scientific studies to obtain the results of the assessment in unified units of measurement, which would provide a generalised indicator of harmful factors at the workplace. The article proposes to use dependencies to assess indicators of harmful factors, considering the maximum, minimum, and optimal values as well as the shape parameter, the change of which produces various assessments in a dimensionless scale. A hierarchy analysis method was used to obtain reliable values with a small number of experts and determine the form parameter. These efforts resulted in the value of the overall index for harmful factors, which serves as grounds for decisions regarding further improvements in working conditions. The developed methodology was used to assess the safety of working conditions at a machine-building enterprise, and the results are presented in the article.

We prove the analog for the $K$ -theory of forms of the $Q=+$ theorem in algebraic $K$ -theory. That is, we show that the $K$ -theory of forms defined in terms of an $S_{\bullet }$ -construction is a group completion of the category of quadratic spaces for form categories in which all admissible exact sequences split. This applies for instance to quadratic and hermitian forms defined with respect to a form parameter.

The purpose of this research is to determine the Distribution Failure of Krisbow KW15-979 Machine Tool and also to determine the estimated cost of replacement of machine parts by taking into account the inflation factor, and to predict whether it is profitable or not if the lathe repair service is offered to a company that offering repair and maintenance services insurance of lathe. From the data obtained, the probability distribution of engine failure of Krisbow KW15-979 is Weibull distribution with Parameter scale (α) of 2.9868 in the calendar age is year, while the form parameter (β) is 1.6817 and the distribution of component replacement cost is obtained with normal distribution with parameters σ = 73607,0 μ = 1.2439E + 5. From the calculation and analysis of data for the first ten years  buying insurance for the lathe maintenance service is not needed  because expense cost is small and estimated amount of failure also small and there is also a minor damage can be handled by laboratory manpower of State Polytechnic of Bengkalis to repair and maintenance .so, when the lathe insured in the first year to the company that offers maintenance and repair insurance virgin lathe considered unprofitable.

Karang scleractinia atau karang batu merupakan karang pembentuk terumbu. Sehingga penentuan status kondisi karang batu menjadi bagian penting dan sangat menentukan peran ekologis dan ekonomis ekosistim terumbu karang. Salah satu parameter untuk mengetahui kondisi karang batu yaitu persentase tutupan di alam. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif  dengan  tehnik pengambilan data dengan menggunakan LIT (Line InterceptTransect) yang selanjutnya dianalisis dengan Persentase Tutupan Karang setelah data diolah dengan ‘benthic life form’. Parameter lingkungan berupa salinitas dan suhu air serta kecerahan juga diukur.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase tutupan di perairan pantai Malalayang Kota Manado dalam status kategori ‘poor’ (Buruk) khususnya di kedalaman 3 dan 5 meter yaitu pada kisaran antara 0-24,9 %, sekalipun pada kedalaman 10 meter hanya kategori ‘good’ (Baik), pada kisaran antara 50 – 69,9 %.. Sedangkan di stasiun penelitian Pulau Bunaken baik di bagian selatan yaitu Stasiun Fukui dan bagian utara pulau yaitu Stasiun Pangalisang hasilnya sebagian besar ‘excellent’ (sangat baik) yaitu dalam kisaran > 70 % persentase tutupan karang batunya. Dengan demikian diketahui bahwa karang yang berada di kawasan yang dilindungi atau konservasi masih relatif lebih baik kondisinya daripada karang yang berada di kawasan terbuka untuk umum sehingga tekanan kegiatanantropogenik intensitasnya relatif tinggi.

Equivalent Culture-Anchored Units Translation? The Phraseological Units IssueThis article examines a question that has been of long-standing interest to linguists working in the fields of cross-linguistic phraseology and the translation of idiosyncratic language units, such as phraseological units (PUs). The challenge of translating PUs, which are understood as "patterns sanctioned by a given culture", involves the translation of culturemes. Therefore, a good translator must be able to assess the importance of the elements containing cultural references in the source language while "moving" them to the target language. When translating PUs, it is desirable that interlingual (cross-linguistic) equivalence be achieved. The fact that translations of a PU can be very different (the translator can paraphrase the text, creatively change it, or simply eliminate the PU) implies that the translational equivalence of PUs must be functional. While a cross-linguistic comparison (and the achievement of translational equivalence) of PUs can be made by omitting the form parameter, it is desirable to preserve the extension and semantic structure, the connotative-pragmatic component, and the phrase combinatorics. Ekwiwalencja jedostek "kulturowo zakotwiczonych"? Kwestia jednostek frazeologicznychArtykuł porusza zagadnienie, które od kilkudziesięciu lat cieszy się zainteresowaniem językoznawców zajmujących się konfrontacją językową frazeologii oraz tłumaczeniem idiosynkratycznych jednostek językowych, takich jak jednostki frazeologiczne (JF). Wyzwaniem podczas tłumaczenia JF, rozumianych jako "wzorce sankcjonowane przez daną kulturę", jawi się konieczność tłumaczenia kulturemów. Tłumacz zatem stoi w obliczu konieczności prawidłowej oceny danego elementu pod względem jego odniesień kulturowych w języku źródłowym podczas przekładania JF na język docelowy. Podczas tłumaczenia JF pożądane jest osiągnięcie międzyjęzykowej (cross-linguistic) ekwiwalencji. Fakt, że tłumaczenie JF może być wielorakie (tłumacz może parafrazować tekst, twórczo go zmienić lub po prostu wyeliminować JF), oznacza, że ekwiwalencja przekładu JF musi być funkcjonalna. Chociaż podczas międzyjęzykowego porównania (mającego na celu osiągnięcie translacyjnej równoważności) JF ich forma jest rzeczą drugorzędną, to wskazane jest, aby zachować ich rozszerzenie znaczeniowe i strukturę semantyczną, aspekt konotacyjno-pragmatyczny oraz łączliwość.

Fixed-geometry centrifugal compressors have inherent limitations in the off-design operating range and performance that can be delivered. Variable inlet swirl, typically introduced with variable inlet guide vanes, has been a frequent tool implemented across many industries to extend the stable operating range and off-design efficiency. However, a review of available data in the literature reveals a large disparity in the effectiveness of variable inlet swirl for useful map movement. An ideal configuration responds to preswirl with a significant reduction in the mass flow at instability along with increased efficiency. Unfortunately, some cases reveal no movement in the surge line, with increases in inlet swirl only serving to reduce the stage efficiency. This study investigates underlying causes for the variation in sensitivity to inlet swirl amongst various compressor designs, represented by form parameters. An analytical model is established and then verified using CFD and selected test data to explore fundamental causes for decreased sensitivity to inlet swirl. Analytical and computational results suggest a new understanding of the governing parameters for inlet swirl sensitivity, and thus provide insight into the scenarios when inlet swirl is an effective tool for manipulation of performance characteristics. Synthesizing the underlying trends, guidelines are developed for design selections and operational situations when inlet swirl can be effectively implemented as a means to extend the stable operating range and off-design efficiency.
