This article is structured on the intersection of two paradigms, namely, two basic ideas – linguoecology and optimal teaching of Russian as a foreign language, which is dictated by the peculiarities of communicative and speech situation in Russia of the XXI century, a fundamental change in the category of normativity and expansion of the boundaries of usage, which actively includes all elements of the substandard. Thus, the development of lexical competence among foreign students becomes a pressing issue. The methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language advances by deepening links with linguistics, at the current stage – with such important area of linguistic science as linguoecology. Over the past decade, linguistic ecology turned into an independent branch and clearly formulated its difference from cognate disciplines, such as rhetoric, stylistics, and speech culture. If the category of norm revolves around the concepts of “appropriate” / “inappropriate”, the ecology of language, or ecological linguistics, is concerned with the question of usefulness or harmfulness of a particular phenomenon for the language, its development and prosperity, in other words,  its “eco-friendliness”. Considering the fact that this direction is a new direction in linguistics, and even its basic terminology is yet to be established: the terms ecological linguistics, language ecology, linguoecology, and ecolinguistics are used in a close sense. However, the sphere of interests of the new direction is clearly outlines: on the global scale, this is the problem of endangered languages and cultures of indigenous small-numbered peoples, and within the framework of a living functioning language, these processes are destructive specifically for it.

We describe the established relationship between linguoecology and emotioology, which is manifested in the emergence and development of emotive linguoecology. We substantiate the use “ecology” concept in the refraction of emotivity. We consider the influence of emotivity on the boundaries of ecology. The material of the work is an artistic emotive text, on the example of which its ecology is established by the method of emotive analysis. As an assumption, the follow-ing is accepted: emotive analysis is universally applicable to any text, both in terms of its func-tional, stylistic, and genre affiliation, and in terms of its temporal relevance; ecology of the text is related to the emotional motivation of its author and is determined by the rating sign of emotives in the text. The main result of the work is to clarify the emotional coordinates of ecology by refer-ring to the role of emotions as the motivational basis of all human activity. The work concludes that ecology is manifested in the emotional motivation of the author who produces an emotive text. We noted why the relationship between emotive and ecological linguistics ensures their mutual development and resilience. We list the main emotive perspectives of linguoecology and linguoecological perspectives of emotionology. We predict the possibilities of their further integration.

This article deals with the development of ecological linguistics as a new object of study in modern linguistics. It examines the peculiarities of language research approaches as an instrument of harmonious lifestyle of the people as well as an important means of social contact in the international research. The anthropocentric and eco-centric lines may be distinguished as competitive modes in the development of modern humanitarian sciences for the reason that they introduce different approaches to investigating processes and results of human activity. The subject of ecolinguistics is the interaction between language, man as a linguistic person and his environment. Language is considered as an integral component of the chain of relationships between man, society and nature. Special attention is paid to the notion “meaning” from the point of view of ecological linguistics. It is stressed that meaning is the link connecting the representations of interaction with the verbal and non-verbal objects in the mind of the person.
