As Novas Condições Sócio Técnicas para uma EaD 2.0

Este artigo apresenta algumas das novas características sociais e tecnológicas contemporâneas que têm ampliado o poder da comunicação e se tornaram, ao mesmo tempo, ferramentas na produção de bens e serviços. Elas dão qualidade aos procedimentos administrativos, às atividades produtivas e ao trabalho das organizações empresariais, tratando, especialmente, dessa potencialização no Ensino a Distância. Argumentamos também que tais características sócio técnicas contemporâneas têm produzido condições de se conceber um novo paradigma sobre o comportamento e o uso de tecnologias nas atividades de ensino e aprendizagem em ambientes virtuais. A Modular Approach of Computer Support Cooperative Work System

A modular approach of computer supported cooperative work system is proposed which based on the hierarchical structure characteristics of distributed cooperative system and the advanced component technology. The key of this approach is regarded the module as core to organize and manage cooperative objects and used the CORBA specifications as an interactive platform to achieve the object communication. The browser/server computing model is used in this approach to deal with remote heterogeneous cooperation problem and the mechanism of cooperation is separated so as to facilitate the application of a distributed cooperation environment for quick implementation. The goal is to provide an open framework for computer supported cooperative work system developers, which can support the implementation of distributed cooperative work to improve system development time. The modular approach of computer supported cooperative work system and its implementation has been achieved in the prototype system MCSCDS.

The Analysis on the Construction of CSCW System and Group Collaborative Mode

With the development and popularization of intranet/Extranet and Internet, it provides vast development space for manufacturing industry. The computer support cooperative work such as collaborative design and collaborative manufacturing based on web is presented under the background. Computer Support Cooperative Work (CSCW) is defined that in the environment supported by computer technology, a groupware cooperatively work to accomplish a common task. The paper is focus on the construction of CSCW system and group collaborative work mode in CSCW. The group collaborative model of CSCW should be intensified further to abstract the features of group collaboration and direct the research on collaborative work technology.

Research on Visualization Conference Cooperative Work Platform Based on CSCW

Based on the concept and organization mode of CSCW (computer support cooperative work), this paper is to describe the research on establishing an organization structure which has one center and multiple cooperative work nodes. By employing advanced multi-media processing technology and method, it shall constitute a cooperative work platform providing remote video conference capability. Moreover, it also focus on some key points including nodes management, operation information sharing and operation control of remote nodes etc. which shall improve performance of work platform including flexible structure, easy integration and high-efficiency of operation.

Research on the Group Collaborative Mode of CSCW

The aim of computer support cooperative work (CSCW) research is to improve the level of collaborative work among group components. Therefore we must understand the collaborative mode among the members of group to direct the collaborative work and research. The research on group collaborative work mode in CSCW is to summarize the collaborative mode of human group under information society environment and direct the collaborative work technology research. The research on the group collaborative model of CSCW should be intensified further to abstract the features of group collaboration and direct the research on collaborative work technology. In CSCW field, there are many group collaborative modes, such as conversation model, meeting model, process model, activity model and so on.
