Constructive play is an imaginative and fun game. This is important for children's development, one of which is the ability to speak as a communication tool for children to express all ideas and feelings when playing constructively, children can explore with their imaginations, learn to find and pour new ideas, do problem solving and recognize rules. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research. The purpose of this study was to see the meaning and benefits of constructive play. Constructive play activities emphasize the nature of building and creating something that can stimulate children's speaking skills. Qualitative data analysis using the model from Miles and Huberman through triangulation: (1) data reduction, (2) data display, (3) verification, through observation, interviews and documentation during the action. The results showed that through constructive play based on peer groups can develop children's speaking skills. Through the experience of playing, creating and interacting with peer groups, children can improve all aspects of their speaking ability.

The purpose of this study was to observe, analyze, and document young Nigerian children’s interactions with novel play materials at their crèche. To date, limited studies have examined Nigerian infants’ and toddlers’ independent engagement with novel play materials. The children’s exploratory and play behaviours—cognitive and social play—were observed. An a priori coding scheme was used to simultaneously analyze cognitive and social play behaviours in the children, eight participants between 7- and 24-months of age. Over the course of four weeks, children were introduced to 11 novel play materials. Observed cognitive play behaviours included functional play, pretend play and constructive play, while social play behaviours consisted of solitary, parallel and simple social play. Although the results showed developmental progression in exploration and play, the varying degree of novelty of the play materials may have influenced children’s exploration and play. Despite these findings, children exhibited various exploratory and play behaviours with the introduction of play materials in a setting in which there were none.

Human anatomy is a biology field that studies human body which consists of intricate and complex piece of engineering in which every assembly has an important role. This subject is considered to be very complex and thus need an advanced technology to help users learning this course more effectively. In this study, we propose and report our research strategy and progress to build a constructive play on human anatomy system based on finger motion gesture of Leap Motion controller (LMC). This LMC device can detect hand gestures and fingers’ motion and translate it into interaction input. Then, we utilize holographic display to portray our 3D human anatomy as its output. In detail, the research strategy of this paper consists of research plan, general framework and general architecture of the developed system. Then, we also present our current development of constructive anatomy learning system. In this future, we will discuss in more detail about the development stage.

The research objective in this paper is to find out how constructive games are on numeracy skills in elementary schools. This research is expected to contribute to schools and enrich the results of existing research and can provide an overview of how constructive play is on numeracy skills in elementary schools. This research is a type of classroom action research. This type of classroom action research used in this research is collaborative, namely that the person who will take the action must also be involved in the research process. In this activity, all who are involved in this research are full involved in the process of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting.

During the hospitalization process, the child will show anxiety due to unfamiliar environmental factors, lack of freedom in activities, and lack of emotional support. Continual anxiety will cause a decrease in the immune system so that it accelerates the occurrence of disease complications during treatment and slows down the recovery process. The  focus of nursing intervention that is done is to minimize anxiety by providing psychological support to children through the provision of constructive play therapy. The aim if this research is to determine the effect of constructive play therapy towards the anxiety level of preschool children due to hospitalization. The research design used in this study was Pre-experiment with a one-group pre-post test design. Data collection using preschool anxiety scale (PAS) questionnaire. The sample in this study were 30 respondents selected by using accidental sampling technique. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon Test analysis, the mean value of pre-test 36.57 and post-test 28.23 and the value of p = 0.0001 <0.05. Meaning that there is an effect of constructive play therapy on the level of anxiety in preschool children with the treatment of constructive play therapy your child who easily communicate the right feeling of anxiety during in the hospitalization, so that the anxiety experienced can be decreased. Constructive play therapy can reduce response anxiety in preschool children who experience hospitalization. Therefore, it is recommended to the hospital and nurses to be able to apply constructive play therapy. as one of the interventions to minimize the impact of hospitalization.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of constructive play and visual-spatial intelligence on early mathematical abilities. The approach used is quantitative through an experimental method with 2x2 treatment by level design. This research was conducted on children in kindergarten group B in the city of Padang. The sampling technique uses Stratified cluster random sampling. The number of samples in this study were 40 children. Data collection in this study used an initial mathematical ability test and a spatial visual intelligence test. The data analysis technique in this study used two-way ANOVA to see the main effects and interactions, then using the Tukey test to see simple effects. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Early mathematical abilities provided with constructive games Lego have a higher influence than constructive games Beams (Fhitung= 5,16 > Ftabe (α=0,05)= 4,04). 2) There is an interaction between constructive play and spatial visual intelligence, in general it has a significant effect on the early math skills of kindergarten children in group B (Fhitung = 13,34 > Ftabel (α=0,05) = 4,04). 3) Early mathematical abilities that have high spatial visual intelligence with given constructive games Lego are higher than the initial mathematical abilities with constructive games (Qhitung = 4,24 > Qtabel (α=0,05) = 3,15). 4) Early mathematical abilities that have low spatial visual intelligence with given constructive games Beams have a higher value than the initial mathematical abilities given by constructive games Lego (Qhitung = -2,30 > Qtabel (α=0,05) = -3,15).
