This concluding chapter draws together some of the core findings of this book: the epistemic uncertainties that algorithmic personalization creates for users that emerge at times as trust or anxiety; the struggle for autonomy that users must negotiate with algorithms that seek to co-constitute their sense of self; and the performative implications of personalization that impose models of identity that are inherently in tension. The author proposes that it is in approaching personalization algorithms through the lens of the everyday that one can most productively interrogate identity as co-constituted both inside and outside of the algorithm. This means looking beyond calls for more user consent over data tracking to instead consider users’ power as algorithmic tacticians capable of deploying algorithmic capital. Algorithmic personalization must be approached in and through the situated subjectivities of everyday web use if one is to productively understand its increasingly invisible place in algorithmic culture.

Abstract With half the world now online, a handful of websites dominate globally. Yet little is known about the homogeneity or geographical distinctness of global web use patterns. Focusing beyond popular sites, we inquired into how and why countries are similar in their web use patterns, developing a framework drawing on the literatures on media globalization, as well as Internet geographies. To compute similarities in web use between countries, we utilized an algorithm that considered both ranking positions and overlap counts on ranked lists of the 100 most popular websites for 174 countries, totaling 6,252 unique websites. Findings from a network analysis and from regressions suggest that countries with similar languages and shared borders, as well as those vastly different in their Internet market sizes, tend to have similar web use patterns. Neither are countries particularly similar to the US in web use nor does the prevalence of English speakers have an influence.

The purpose of writing this thesis is to build an expert system to diagnose skin diseases. in children and can make it easier for specialist doctors to diagnose skin diseases and provide solutions and information about skin diseases based on symptoms. If something happens to the child, the organ that is first affected is the skin. If there is a skin disease disorder in children, the parents trust the doctor more. But not all doctors can help overcome these problems, so they cannot know the type of disease directly. The method used is backward chaining, i.e. the inference process that starts the search from the premise or input data in the form of symptoms leading to conclusions, namely conclusions of types of diseases and solutions based on symptoms suffered by patients. The results of this study were to determine the patient's illness and its web use.

The development of trhe web has made a major test for guiding the client to the pages in their regions.Useful knowledge disclosure from web use information and acceptable learning portrayal for successful page suggestion are urgent and testing. In this paper we propose a novel technique to effectively give a better site page proposal through semantic upgrade by coordinating the space and web use learning of a site. Two new models are proposed to the learning.Semantic system is used to the web pages and the relations between the pages.Conceptional model produces a semantic system for web use information, which is the combination of learning and web use information.Various inquires have been created to inquiry about these learning base.Based on these questions ,an arrangement of suggestion methodologies have been proposed to produce fitting site page proposals to the client. The suggestion comes about have been contrasted and the outcomes got from a progressed existing Web Usage Mining(WUM)strategy. The exploratory outcomes show that the proposed technique delivers essentialy higher execution than the WUM technique.
