Background: The COVID-19 pandemic made it necessary to change established structures of medical counseling services and quickly establish digital counseling formats to ensure continuity of care. In this context, we offered telephone and video-telephonic counseling in addition to traditional face-to-face counseling in the office. Methods: Patients (n = 100) of the Cancer Counseling Center, Tübingen, were asked to complete a questionnaire to assess the acceptance of the counseling format following each counseling session (office, telephone, and video) in the period between July 2020 and February 2021. The questionnaire included the subject areas of patient characterization, assessment of therapeutic contact, therapeutic relationship, and hurdles and was used in this exploratory care study. Results: The satisfaction and acceptance of the three counseling formats (office, telephone, and video) were rated as “good” to “very good” in the three subgroups (range 1–6, office M = 1.2, telephone M = 1.3, video M = 1.4). Likewise, the “therapeutic relationship” achieved high ratings in terms of establishment of a therapeutic relationship in all three subgroups (office M = 5.7, telephone M = 5.0, video M = 5.0). The type of contact (office and video counseling) achieved a significant main effect on the therapeutic relationship for items such as “I believe that counseling is helping me” (F(2,97) = 4.80, p = 0.01) and “I feel that I can rely on the counselor/therapist” (F(2,97) = 3.29, p = 0.04). The “hurdles” were rated as minor and tolerable (office M = 1.3, telephone M = 1.3, video M = 1.4). Predictor analyses showed that there was no effect of age and gender on the acceptance of digital counseling formats in the present sample. Discussion and Conclusion: On the basis of this survey, it can be concluded that digital counseling formats were perceived by patients as a promising addition to the classic face-to-face setting. In addition, it can be stated that the digital formats (telephone and video) were not generally preferred to face-to-face counseling, but that the innovative telecounseling was accepted and perceived with great satisfaction and acceptance. Accordingly, the additional use of digital counseling formats could be an opportunity to enrich and expand the existing presence structures also after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Background: Breast and cervical cancers are one of the leading causes of women's mortality. About 87% of cases of cervical cancer occur in developing countries. Breast cancer has the most increasing number amongst other cancers. Moreover, most of the cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in the late stadium. The late diagnosis of cancer cases is most probably due to a lack of screening at the beginning. Aim: The research aimed to discover the evaluation of breast cancer counseling and cervical cancer screening amongst women of their reproductive age. Methods: This research employed a survey method with a cross-sectional approach. The population and 63 samples were respondents taken using total sampling. The instruments were questionnaires. Results: The results showed that 37 respondents (58.7%) showed fair rates on breast cancer counseling, while 36 respondents (57.1%) gave a fair rating on cervical cancer counseling. Conclusion: This research has proven that women in this study gave fair ratings towards the counseling conducted. It is expected for midwives and health promotion teams to improve the promotional and preventive efforts, especially regarding breast and cervical cancer screening. Besides, women should be active in exploring more information and participating in every activity related to reproductive health, especially breast and cervical cancer screening. This study aims to determine the effect of breast cancer counseling on the attitude of mothers doing BSE actions. The study design used a pretest-posttest model to measure the knowledge and attitudes of 45 respondents. Data from research results were collected using a questionnaire and data analysis using the Rank Wilcoxon statistical test. The results showed: (1) Before giving counseling, knowledge included as many as 34 categories (75.56%), 9 categories as enough (20.00%), and 2 categories as good (4.44%), while attitudes included negative categories were 32 (71.11%) and positive categories were 13 (28.89%). (2) After being given knowledge counseling including as many as 3 categories (6.67%), sufficient categories as many as 5 (11.11%), and good categories as many as 37 (82.22%), while attitudes including negative categories as much as 4 ( 8.89%) and positive categories as much as 41 (91.11%). The Wilcoxon test with a p value of <0.05 was said to have a difference, namely the value of p = 0,000, and the value of Z count - 5,393 which means that there is an effect of breast cancer counseling on the attitude of mothers doing BSE in Timpag Village.

Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer suffered by women in the world after breast cancer. In developed countries, the incidence of cervical cancer is around 4% of all cancer incidence in women, while in developing countries it reaches above 15% (Emilia, 2010). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cervical cancer counseling on the attitude of WUS to early detection (IVA) in Padokan Lor Hamlet, Tirtonirmolo Village. The type of research used is pre-experiment with the design of "one group pretest-posttest". Sampling using purposive sampling technique, the number of samples was 45 respondents. Bivariate analysis was carried out using the WoCoxon test statistical test. The results of Wilcoxon test obtained the value (p = 0,000) less than 0,05. Conclusion, there is an influence of cervical cancer counseling on the attitude of WUS to early detection (IVA) in Padokan Lor Village, Tirtnirmolo Village, 2015.
