Hyers–Ulam stability of non-autonomous and nonsingular delay difference equations

In this paper, we study the uniqueness and existence of the solution of a non-autonomous and nonsingular delay difference equation using the well-known principle of contraction from fixed point theory. Furthermore, we study the Hyers–Ulam stability of the given system on a bounded discrete interval and then on an unbounded interval. An example is also given at the end to illustrate the theoretical work.

Asymptotic behavior of third order delay difference equations with a negative middle term

In this paper, we establish some sufficient conditions which ensure that the solutions of the third order delay difference equation with a negative middle term $$ \Delta \bigl(a_{n}\Delta (\Delta w_{n})^{\alpha } \bigr)-p_{n}(\Delta w_{n+1})^{ \alpha }-q_{n}h(w_{n-l})=0,\quad n\geq n_{0}, $$ Δ ( a n Δ ( Δ w n ) α ) − p n ( Δ w n + 1 ) α − q n h ( w n − l ) = 0 , n ≥ n 0 , are oscillatory. Moreover, we study the asymptotic behavior of the nonoscillatory solutions. Two illustrative examples are included for illustration.

Oscillation theorems for second-order delay difference equations with superlinear neutral terms

Oscillation criteria for a class of second-order delay difference equations with a superlinear neutral term are established using a new approach. The results improve and significantly simplify the ones reported in the literature.

Oscillation criteria for linear difference equations with several variable delays

We obtain new sufficient criteria for the oscillation of all solutions of linear delay difference equations with several (variable) finite delays. Our results relax numerous well-known limes inferior-type oscillation criteria from the literature by letting the limes inferior be replaced by the limes superior under some additional assumptions related to slow variation. On the other hand, our findings generalize an oscillation criterion recently given for the case of a constant, single delay.
