<p>Pemerataan pembangunan di seluruh wilayah Indonesia dilakukan pada bidang pendidikan, transportasi, tenaga listrik, pengairan, air bersih, dan juga telekomunikasi. Telekomunikasi saat ini sudah menjadi kebutuhan primer bagi masyarakat. Perancangan link komunikasi jaringan akses seluler untuk aplikasi CDMA 2000-1x di kabupaten Bima, Nusa Tenggara Barat diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi untuk pembangunan telekomunikasi pada wilayah urban, sub urban, dan rural. Berdasarkan data di kabupaten Bima diperlukan 12 sel pada daerah urban dengan OBQ 403.66 kbps/km<sup>2</sup>, 4 sel pada wilayah sub urban dengan OBQ 427.87 kbps/km<sup>2</sup>, dan 1 sel pada wilayah rural dengan OBQ 411.67 kbps/km<sup>2</sup>.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Kata Kunci :</strong><em>CDMA, OBQ, </em>JaringanNirkabel</p>

Dalam era persaingan industri saat ini, kepuasan pelanggan menjadi sangat penting, sehingga peningkatan kualitas layanan secara terus menerus sangat diperlukan, studi penelitian ini ditujukan guna meningkatan kualitas performansi voice pada PT XYZ Telecom yang merupakan salah satu operator berteknologi Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) menjadi lebih baik dengan optimalisasi Mobile Switching Center sehingga kepuasan pelanggan tercapai, kemudian menganalisa hubungan antara MSC dengan Network Element lainnya yang telah terintegrasi. Penelitian ini dibatasi hanya pada area yang di-cover oleh Mobile Switching Center regional Jabodetabek.

<p class="Abstract">Cellular communication system is a wireless communication system where the subscriber can move within a wide network coverage. Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) is a multiuser access technology that is each user uses a unique code contained in the access channel in the system. Calculation and determination of peak hours can be done by several methods such as: Average Daily Peak Hour (ADPH), Time Consistent Busy Hour (TCBH), Fixed Daily Measurement Hour (FDMH), Fixed Daily Measurement Period (FDMP). The effectiveness of the channel should be determined by occupancy both at inner city territory and outer city  territory location. Using design Erlang (Erl) for supply channel at Base Transceiver Station (BTS) that provided, BTS has a design Erlang of 369,83 Erl at inner city and it has a design Erlang of 241,8 Erl at outer city. Peak hour on the inner city occurred at 12:00 to 15:00, whereas the outer city of peak hour occurred at 18:00 to 21:00. Effectiveness value that determined by operator are : &lt;20% = low occupancy (not effective), 21% to 69% = normal occupancy (effective), and &gt; 70% = high occupancy (very effective). In this case occupancy values ​​obtained in each method is between 21% to 69% which means effective.</p>

ABSTRAKAntena merupakan perangkat yang memiliki peranan yang sangat penting dalam sistem komunikasi tanpa kabel (wireless). Pada penelitian ini akan diimplementasikan reflektor antena wajanbolik yang beroperasi pada frekuensi CDMA 2000 1x EVDO 1900 MHz. Antena ini menggunakan  reflektor dari wajan, dengan waveguide dari pipa paralon yang dilapisi dengan lakban alumunium, dan penerima sinyal menggunakan USB modem adapter. Antena ini ditujukan untuk menjadi media bantu  dalam  memperkuat  penerimaan sinyal  EVDO dan memaksimalkan dan kecepatan transfer data. Antena ini memberikan gain sebesar 15,530 dB berdasarkan pengukuran dan 15,156 dB berdasarkan teoritis. Pengujian menggunakan wajanbolik menunjukkan adanya peningkatan level sinyal modem yang terendah sebesar 4 dB pada pengukuran dengan kondisi indoor di siang hari serta tertinggi sebesar 19 dB pada pengukuran dengan kondisi outdoor di malam hari. Hasil dari pengujian pun menunjukkan peningkatan kecepatan transfer data rata – rata sebesar 42 KBps sampai dengan 269 KBps dibandingkan pengukuran tanpa wajanbolik.Kata kunci: Reflektor, Waveguide, Wajanbolik, USB adapter, EVDO.  ABSTRACTThe antenna is a device that has a very important role in wireless communication systems (wireless). In this research will be implemented wajanbolik reflector antenna which operates at frequencies of CDMA 2000 1x EVDO 1900 MHz. This antenna uses a reflector of the pan, with the waveguide of the pipe is coated with aluminum duct tape, and a signal receiver using a USB modem adapter. This antenna is intended to be a media aids in strengthening the EVDO and signal reception to maximize data transfer speeds. This antenna give a gain of 16.015 from measurement dBi and 15.156 dBi based on theory. Tests using wajanbolik showed an increase in the level of modem signals a low of 4 dB in measurement with indoor conditions during the day and 19 dB at the peak of measurements with outdoor conditions at night. Results of testing also showed an increase in average data transfer rate is 42 KBps up to 269 KBps compared to measurements without wajanbolik.Keywords:  Reflector, Waveguide, Wajanbolic, USB adapter, EVDO.

Rapidly growing number of network providers in Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA), make service providers to further strength its network and optimization customer service and quality that will be given. In order to better serve our customer with the required network that has good performance. For that we need to be optimization in network, which can reduce the drop call and resource blocking and increasing call success. Network optimization is based on data drive test as for data analysis, including Call Setup Success Rate, Drop call Rate, Resource Blocking, Rx Power, Tx Power, Ec/Io, Forward FER, and Call Setup Time. In the measurement that have been done to the avarage value in accordance with Key Performance Indicator (KPI) obtained Call Setup Success Rate (> 99%), Drop call Rate (< 2%), Resource Blocking (< 2%), Rx Power (-91.7 dBm), Tx Power (11.4 dBm), Ec/Io (-21.38 dB), Forward FER (4.8%), and Call Setup Time (4.832 seconds). Result the performance of the Flexi network for service in Jepara #2 area in poor condition, because for parameters Rx Power, Tx Power, Forward FER, and Ec/Io not suitable with KPI. So do the optimization for the better network quality. Result after optimization of average Call Setup Success Rate (> 99%), Drop call Rate (< 1%), Resource Blocking (< 1%), Rx Power (-99.9 dBm), Tx Power (-27.8 dBm), Ec/Io (-5.45 dB), Forward FER (2.45%), and Call Setup Time (4.902 seconds).

<p>Berkembang pesatnya jumlah penyedia layanan pada jaringan <em>Code Division Multiple Access </em>(CDMA), membuat operator penyedia layanan untuk semakin memperkokoh jaringan dan mengoptimalkan layanan serta kualitas yang akan diberikan. Agar dapat melayani pelanggan dengan baik maka dibutuhkan jaringan yang mempunyai kinerja baik. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan optimalisasi pada jaringan, sehingga dapat mengurangi<em> drop call</em> dan <em>resource blocking</em> serta meningkatkan <em>success call</em>. Optimalisasi jaringan dilakukan berdasarkan analisis data hasil pengukuran <em>drive test</em>, adapun data yang dianalisis meliputi <em>Call Setup Success Rate</em>, <em>Drop call Rate</em>, <em>Resource Blocking</em>, <em>Rx Power</em>, <em>Tx Power</em>, Ec/Io, <em>Forward </em>FER dan <em>Call Setup Time</em>. Pada pengukuran yang telah dilakukan untuk nilai rata-rata yang sesuai dengan <em>Key Performance Indicator</em> (KPI) didapat <em>Call Setup Success Rate</em> (&gt; 99%), <em>Drop call Rate</em> (&lt; 2%), <em>Resource Blocking</em> (&lt; 2%), <em>Rx Power</em> (-91.7 dBm), <em>Tx Power</em> (11.4 dBm), Ec/Io (-21.38 dB), <em>Forward </em>FER (4.8%), dan <em>Call Setup Time</em> (4.832 detik). Hasil ini menunjukkan kinerja jaringan Flexi untuk daerah Jepara #2 masih kurang maksimal, karena untuk parameter <em>Rx Power</em>,<em> Tx Power</em>, <em>Forward </em>FER, dan Ec/Io tidak sesuai dengan KPI. Sehingga dilakukan optimalisasi agar kualitas jaringan semakin baik. Untuk hasil pengukuran setelah dilakukan optimalisasi didapat dengan rata-rata untuk <em>Call Setup Success Rate</em> (&gt; 99%), <em>Drop call Rate</em> (&lt; 1%), <em>Resource Blocking</em> (&lt; 1%), <em>Rx Power</em> (-99.9 dBm), <em>Tx Power</em> (-27.8 dBm), Ec/Io (-5.45 dB), <em>Forward </em>FER (2.45%), dan <em>Call Setup Time</em> (4.902 detik).</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Kata Kunci</strong> : CDMA 2000 1X, <em>Call Setup Success Rate</em>, <em>Drop call Rate</em>, <em>Resource Blocking</em>, <em>Rx Power</em>, <em>Tx Power</em></p>
