The Strategic Areas of Teluk Bima and Teluk Saleh on Sumbawa Island have potential natural resources for regional economic development. Through the determination of the Teluk Bima and Teluk Saleh areas as National Strategic Areas, it is expected that economic growth in this region will develop significantly, so that regulations are needed from the aspects of planning, utilization and control of space to support various infrastructure activities and other sector activities in the context of realizing a safe, comfortable space, productive and sustainable. This study aims to analyze the suitability of space as a national strategic area. Data was collected through library research and searching for data and information on institutions related to the FGD approach. Space suitability analysis using Geographic Information System (GIS) approach. The results show that the Teluk Bima Bay and Teluk Saleh area (called Bima and Sumbawa Andalan) is worthy of being a national strategic area, with the leading sectors of tourism, industry and fisheries, so that it is important to prepare the Spatial Planning of the Strategic area.

The problem in this research is that there is not yet a map of the distribution of customary tombs in Sesean Suloara District, North Toraja Regency. The results of the study explain that there are geographical and cultural problems that play a big role in determining the location of customary cemeteries. The research aims to describe the factors that influence the distribution of Toraja customary tomb patterns in Sesean Suloara District, North Toraja Regency. The process of descriptive qualitative research method with spatial approach (space) aims to analyze the distribution pattern of customary tombs in Sesean District Suloara North Toraja Regency. Analysis data is sourced from field surveys, interviews, observations and using GIS applications. The results of the parameter analysis of the distribution pattern of Sesean Suloara Subdistrict, North Toraja Regency, the nearest neighbor are 1.66 by paying attention to the continuity of the value of the analysis of the nearest neighbor. The distribution pattern of tombs in Sesean Suloara Subdistrict is an uneven (random pattern), distribution is identified along the Sapan-Pangli road.

The relationship between Mr. Charles and the space of his abode is considered analogous to that between Rodyon Raskolnikov and his bachelor apartment. Both cases call for a resolution whether the habitational space has any impact on the character. An analysis of the fictional house’s layout makes it possible to distinguish a particular figure of the bed that, according to Yi-Fu Tuan’s conception of the object denoting place, can be modified into different landscape forms. Dynamic changes of space not only seem to take control over the apathetic, exhausted man, but also visibly influence his physicality. The author focuses on the aquatic and airless atmosphere of Mr. Charles’s house to connect its oppressive influence with the lodger’s mental condition by using symbolic explanations in terms of water and dust. The apartment preserved by still water becomes similar to an aquarium. In such an environment, the only possible form of existence is imitation of life resulting from a constant and acute feeling of imprisonment. The paper describes the position of the main character, referring to Michel Foucault’s concept of the Panopticon and suggests the use of this model to approach space in Schulz’s text.

Transport infrastructure projects have become more integrated in nature. An important driver of the ambition to approach space in a more integrated manner is the idea that doing so will generate added value. However, in transport infrastructure planning practice, the argument to adopt integrated planning approaches seems to be mainly rhetorical in nature. The aim of this paper is to contribute to the discussion about the notion of added value through integrated planning by developing an analytical evaluation framework. In order to do so, we go back to one of the founding fathers of decision-making sciences and present a conceptual synthesis. We explore this synthesis by conducting a literature review and an illustrative expert session. We conclude with the analytical evaluation framework and elaborate on implications in practice.

Space is one of the fundamental concepts of human consciousness. Many sciences use the concept of space to describe their own subject areas. For geography, this concept is basic. By analogy with other sciences, geography has formed its own understanding of space – geographical space. In different historical epochs, people have differently represented space. Today, the most widespread are substantive and relational approaches to the interpretation of space. According to the substantive approach, space is a substance, independent of time and matter that acts next to and independently of them. According to the relational approach, space is understood as systems of relations that are formed between objects in the process of their interaction. Among Ukrainian geographers, E. Marunyak, K. Nemets, Y. Oliynyk, A. Stepanenko, O. Smyrnov, O. Topchiyev, O. Shabliy and others elaborated on the concept of geospace and geospatiality. Geographic space is a set of objects that are ordered on the earth's surface, together with the sum of all their connections and interrelations. It is not just the total sum of the geographical positions of all geographical objects, but a new quality that appears as a result of the general interactions of the objects on the earth’s surface. In interpretations of geographical space, the following common features can be distinguished: geospace is one of the aspects of ordering geographical objects; geospace is a collection of relationships between objects; geographical space is characterized by both discreteness and continuity. Meanwhile, in Western scientific literature the concept of geographical space has not become noticeably widespread. Researchers often use the terms “space” and “social space”. Geospace in English-language scientific literature is understood as the outer space near the Earth, including the upper atmosphere, the ionosphere, and the magnetosphere.

ABSTRACT East SumbaWaters  is so wide, the distribution and the spread of fishery potential is difficult to exploit, therefore it is necessary to have a map of the fishing area clearlyso that the fishermen can easily engaging in fishing activities. This study aims to mapping the fishing area with space approach in the waters of East Sumba District. The results of the analysis of the suitability of pelagic fishing area designated "very appropriate" (S1) 163.464,47 Ha, "appropriate" (S2) 44.724,60 ha, less suitable (S3) 11.707,62.Suitability demersal fishing areas on the criteria of "very appropriate" (S1) 7.109,89 Ha, "appropriate" (S2) 6.386,77 Ha, and less suitable (S3) 11.233,14 Ha. KEYWORDS: Analysis; Fishing areas; Approach; Space.

The purpose of the paper is to contribute to develop, illustrate, and apply the concept of space management using facility performance from the evolutionary perspective in the public & non-public business school in Poland. The retrospective case study has been used so as to establish the context of the studies. In the public business school, space management has not been under the influence of environment external mechanisms reducing the growth of organizational space so far. Nevertheless, the research on the non-public business school authorized the statement that changes in environment explicitly influence the space occupied. Keywords: evolutionary approach, space management, facility management, species, routines
