Phenetic phytoindication and biotesting of soils in recreation zones of Tver city

Исследованы фенофонды ценопопуляций подорожника большого (Plantago major L.) и сныти обыкновенной (Aegopodium podagraria L.) в рекреационных зонах г. Твери с разным уровнем загрязнения почв тяжелыми металлами (ТМ). Параллельно проведено биотестирование почв модельных биотопов по параметрам развития семян тест-растений - горчицы белой (Sinapis alba L.), кресс-салата (Lepidium sativum L.), сорго черного (Sorghum nigrum L.) в соответствии с ГОСТ Р ИСО 18763-2019. По мере возрастания суммарной токсической нагрузки на биотопы среднее число фенов у сныти и подорожника снижается. Однако доля редких фенов у сныти возрастает, а у подорожника уменьшается. Общие показатели фенетического разнообразия (среднее число и доля редких фенов) у сныти коррелируют с суммарной токсической нагрузкой на почвы в большей степени, чем у подорожника. Параметры развития семян разных видов тест-растений неоднозначно отражают фитотоксичность почв. В большей степени с суммарным содержанием ТМ в почве коррелируют показатели всхожести семян и размеры корней проростков у горчицы. Данные по фитоиндикации биотопов на основе фенетических показателей ценопопуляций сныти и, в меньшей степени подорожника, в целом согласуются с результатами биотестирования почв. The phenofonds of Plantago major L. and Aegopodium podagraria L. cenopopulations in recreation zones of Tver with different levels of soil contamination with heavy metals (HM) were studied. In parallel, biotesting of soils of model biotopes was carried out according to the parameters of test plants seeds development - Sinapis alba L., Lepidium sativum L., Sorghum nigrum L. in accordance with ISO 18763:2016. With an increase in the total toxic load on biotopes, the average number of phenes in P. major and A. podagraria decreases. However, the share of rare phenes increases in A. podagraria, and decreases in P. major. The general indicators of phenetic diversity (average number and proportion of rare phenes) in A. podagraria correlate with the total toxic load on soils to a greater extent than in P. major. The development parameters of seeds of different species of test plants ambiguously reflect the phytotoxicity of soils. To a greater extent, the indicators of seed germination and the seedlings root size in S. alba correlate with the total content of HM in the soil. The data on the phytoindication of biotopes based on the phenetic indices of the cenopopulations of A. podagraria and, to a lesser extent, P. major, are generally consistent with the results of soil biotesting.

ESTUDOS DA ATIVIDADE ANTIMICROBIANA DA ESPÉCIE Plantago major L.: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

Introdução: A Plantago major L. é popularmente conhecida como tanchagem pertence à família Plantaginacea. Tem estrutura perene com folhas rosetadas, as flores e folhas jovens são comestíveis. Utilizada na medicina popular para o tratamento de lesões na pele, gengivite, abcessos, dor de dente. Possui grande variedade de bioativos como alcalóides, terpenos, flavonóides, vitaminas. A sua atividade funcional é relacionada a presença desses compostos químicos.(1) Objetivos: Realizar um levantamento bibliográfico para identificar a atividade antimicrobiana de P. major. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica do tipo integrativa realizada por busca nas bases de dados Pubmed, SciELO e BVS, trabalhos indexados no período de 2016 a 2021. Foram utilizados para busca dos artigos os seguintes descritores “Plantago major” e “antimicrobial”. Como critério de inclusão foram pesquisados artigos em inglês, espanhol e português, disponíveis na íntegra, estudos com informações referentes ao uso da espécie como agente antimicrobiano. Os critérios de exclusão foram os artigos duplicados, revisões bibliográficas. Resultados: Foram encontrados 18 artigos, após realizar uma análise criteriosa do material, foram incluídos na revisão 6 trabalhos. Um dos trabalhos sugeriu a utilização de extrato de P. major como enxaguante bucal para o tratamento de mucosite oral.(2) Em outro estudo a aplicação do extrato de P. major mostrou atividade antibacteriana contra Pseudomonas tolaasii, resultando um maior diâmetro inibitório. Também apresentou inibição de crescimento contra Pseudomonas aeruginosa utilizando a técnica de disco, com o aparecimento de halos de inibição de crescimento maiores que 1 cm. No ensaio de citotoxicidade, o grau de hemólise foi classificado como baixo (5%), logo, indicando a segurança no uso da tanchagem(3) Utilizando sementes de P. major aplicadas em nanoparticulas apresentou atividade aceitável contra Micrococcus luteus, Escherichia coli e Penicillium digitatum. Além desses patógenos, outro estudo evidenciou que o extrato etanólico (75%;100%) de tanchagem apresentou efeito antibacteriano in vitro contra Porphyromonas gingivalis, apresentando halos de inibição.(4) Também foi obtido resultados contra Cândida albicans, aplicando extrato de P. major, com aucubina e baicaleína, atuando na hidrofobicidade de C. albicans, demonstrando eficácia como antifúngico, sugerindo ser um potencial promissor para infecções relacionadas ao biofilme por C. Albicans.(5) Conclusões: A partir desses resultados é possível identificar a possibilidade do uso de Plantago major para fins terapêuticos, fitoterápicos ou nutricionais sendo necessário realizar mais estudos quanto a sua atividade antimicrobiana além de testes quanto à sua toxicidade.

Synerisis and Cycling Test the Sendok Leaf Extract Gel (Plantago Mayor L.) with Optimization of Variations of Gelling Agent Carbomer 940 Concentration

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the concentration of the gelling agent Carbomer 940 on the gel of daun Leaf Extract (Plantago major L.). The method used is the experimental method. The extraction method used is maceration with 96% alcohol. The design in this study is the manufacture of a gel formulation of sendok Leaf extract (Plantago major L.) with the concentration of the gelling agent Carbomer 940 and the syneresis test. Syneresis test results show that all formulas do not occur syneresis. The results of the cycling test showed that the sendok Leaf (Plantago major L.) extract gel was not affected by storage temperature. The conclusion of this study shows the effect of variations in the concentration of the gelling agent Carbomer 940 on the quality of gel.

Effects of Arbuscular Mycorrhiza on Primary Metabolites in Phloem Exudates of Plantago major and Poa annua and on a Generalist Aphid

Arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM), i.e., the interaction of plants with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF), often influences plant growth, physiology, and metabolism. Effects of AM on the metabolic composition of plant phloem sap may affect aphids. We investigated the impacts of AM on primary metabolites in phloem exudates of the plant species Plantago major and Poa annua and on the aphid Myzus persicae. Plants were grown without or with a generalist AMF species, leaf phloem exudates were collected, and primary metabolites were measured. Additionally, the performance of M. persicae on control and mycorrhizal plants of both species was assessed. While the plant species differed largely in the relative proportions of primary metabolites in their phloem exudates, metabolic effects of AM were less pronounced. Slightly higher proportions of sucrose and shifts in proportions of some amino acids in mycorrhizal plants indicated changes in phloem upload and resource allocation patterns within the plants. Aphids showed a higher performance on P. annua than on P. major. AM negatively affected the survival of aphids on P. major, whereas positive effects of AM were found on P. annua in a subsequent generation. Next to other factors, the metabolic composition of the phloem exudates may partly explain these findings.

СРАВНИТЕЛЬНАЯ ХАРАКТЕРИСТИКА ОСОБЕННОСТЕЙ СЕМЕННОГО РАЗМНОЖЕНИЯ ПОДОРОЖНИКА БОЛЬШОГО (PLANTAGO MAJOR L.) В РАЗНЫХ ВЫСОТНО-КЛИМАТИЧЕСКИХ ЗОНАХ

В данной работе приводятся результаты изучения закономерностей изменения всхожести, энергии прорастания, массы 1000 семян подорожника большого, обитающего на высотах 200, 600, 2000 и 2700 м над уровнем моря. Выявлено, что с ростом высоты над уровнем моря закономерно увеличивается масса семян и происходит стимуляция всхожести и энергии прорастания.

A eficácia das terapias integrativas e complementares disponibilizadas pelo sistema único de saúde no alívio da dor oncológica: uma revisão sistemática

Introdução: A dor é um frequente e indesejado sintoma em pacientes oncológicos, podendo ser um reflexo da doença orgânica ou dos tratamentos antineoplásicos instituídos. Ocasionalmente, a terapia farmacológica pode apresentar limitações no alívio desta condição, havendo a possibilidade da inclusão de medidas não farmacológicas, como as terapias complementares e integrativas em saúde. Objetivo: Avaliar a eficácia das terapias complementares e integrativas disponibilizadas pelo Sistema Único de Saúde por meio da Política Nacional de Práticas Integrativas e Complementares no alívio da dor oncológica. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão sistemática de literatura, com estudos publicados entre os anos de 2016 e 2020, encontrados na base de dados PubMed por meio de descritores validados pelo DeCS e critérios de inclusão e exclusão. Resultados: Foram selecionados nove artigos, dos quais, cinco pesquisaram e demonstraram a efetividade da acupuntura no alívio da dor e redução no uso de analgésicos. um estudo elencou a redução da gravidade da mucosite e intensidade da dor por meio da utilização do xarope fitoterápico de plantago major L. O artigo que estudou a reflexologia demonstrou a redução na intensidade da dor. A hipnose e a musicoterapia não demonstraram eficácia no alívio da dor oncológica entre os estudos selecionados. Conclusão: A acupuntura é a terapia mais estudada e com maior eficácia no alívio da dor oncológica. É necessário mais respaldo técnico-científico para a inclusão e utilização das práticas complementares e integrativas com mais segurança e eficácia no alívio da dor oncológica.
