Implementation of QRIS-Based Payments Towards the Digitalization of Indonesian MSMEs

<div class="WordSection1"><p class="abstrak"><em>This study aims to determine the implementation of QRIS as measured by the existence and urgency as a payment digitalization medium to support the Digitalization of MSMEs in the context of Indonesia's economic recovery. This research is a literature study that was analyzed using a qualitative-descriptive approach with secondary data sources originating from journals and reports related to the Digitalization of MSMEs. The results and discussion of this research, that the QRIS launched by Bank Indonesia can help MSME actors adapt to existing conditions. QRIS as a MSME survival strategy is carried with the theme EXCELLENCE (UNiversal, Easy, Profit and Direct). The theme was taken because the use of QRIS is easy and practical, namely by scanning the QR code that has been provided by the merchant. QRIS has been officially launched and supervised under Bank Indonesia. The easy use of QRIS provides benefits for both merchants and buyers, especially for users of non-cash payment applications. For merchants, QRIS is useful in terms of increasing sales, practicality, branding, saving, avoiding counterfeit money, segregating business funds, and credit profiles. QRIS are flexible, safe and practical so that QRIS can become the driving force in the acceleration of digitalization for economic recovery.</em><em></em></p><p class="abstrak" align="left"> </p><p class="abstrak">Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi dari QRIS yang diukur dari eksistensi serta urgensi sebagai media digitalisasi pembayaran guna mendukung digitalisasi UMKM dalam rangka pemulihan perekonomian Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi pustaka yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dalam menjelaskan fenomena terkait implementasi QRIS pada UMKM. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data sekunder yang berasal dari jurnal maupun laporan terkait dengan digitalisasi UMKM. Hasil dan pembahasan dari penelitian ini, bahwa QRIS yang diluncurkan oleh Bank Indonesia dapat membantu adaptasi pelaku UMKM terkait kondisi yang ada. QRIS sebagai strategi bertahan UMKM ini diusung dengan tema UNGGUL (UNiversal, GampanG, Untung dan Langsung). Tema tersebut diambil karena penggunaan QRIS yang mudah dan praktis, yaitu dengan melakukan scan pada QR code yang sudah disediakan oleh merchant. QRIS telah resmi diluncurkan dan diawasi dibawah Bank Indonesia. Penggunaan QRIS yang mudah memberikan manfaat baik bagi merchant maupun kepada pembeli terutama bagi pengguna aplikasi pembayaran non tunai. Bagi merchant, QRIS bermanfaat dalam segi, peningkatan penjuala, praktis, branding, hemat, penghindaran uang palsu, pemisahan dana usaha, dan credit profile. Bagi pengguna, manfaat QRIS berupa, fleksibel, aman dan praktis. Dalam hal ini, maka dapat dikatakan QRIS sebagai pendorong percepatan digitalisasi guna pemulihan ekonomi.</p><p class="abstrak"> </p></div>

Reincarnation of MSMEs after the Government's Policy on Economic Recovery Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic in Indonesia

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are experiencing a slump due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it is feared that it will be challenging to get back up. At this time, the Indonesian government has issued policies through several ministries, including the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Health, to stabilize the national economy. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the pillars of the national economy, so that this sector needs attention during this pandemic to reincarnate in a better direction. This study aims to find a correlation between government policies and the revival/reincarnation of MSMEs. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed through the MSME group on Facebook. To find Carried out the relationship between the two variables, the Spearman correlation test. The results found that the level of strength of the relationship or correlation was 0.619, indicating that there was a strong correlation between government policies on the Reincarnation of MSMEs and had a unidirectional relationship that showed a positive value so that the better the government's alignment with government policies will further improve the state of the Reincarnation of MSMEs towards positive growth.

Digital Syria: Myth or Reality

The article presents the rationale for the author’s vision of activating one of the intensive tools of economic recovery in the Syrian Arab Republic – digitalization. It is shown that the restoration with the help of “traditional” methods – strengthening of foreign economic activity - for Syrian Arab Republic is very limited by Western sanctions. Therefore, it is important to search for non-traditional ways, which is technically possible in modern conditions. The author believes that this is also possible in practice.

Ummah Business Market (UBM): Mosque-Based MSME Empowerment Application for Optimization of SDGs in the Time of Covid-19

During the covid-19 pandemic, MSME business activities have decreased and have received small profits. Operations of mosques and amil institutions also experienced a decline. So, it needs an innovation that synergizes the community with MSMEs and mosques to increase the profits in economic and social activities that can encourage economic recovery. In this case, the mosque becomes the center of religious, economic, and social activities. The purpose of this study is to identify and produce a development model for the use of the Ummah Business Market (UBM) for mosque-based MSME empowerment applications and support post-Covid-19 economic recovery and poverty reduction as stated in the SDGs in goals 1 and 8. This study uses primary data with the type of action research that raises issues, makes solutions, and compiles a review of solutions from the Ummah Business Market (UBM) application process in empowering MSMEs during the pandemic. The results of this study indicate that the use and innovation of the mosque-based Ummah Business Market (UBM) application can increase operations and income for MSMEs and mosques, as well as create new jobs. In addition, able to optimize funds. Thus, benefits are obtained for economic recovery, poverty alleviation, and decent work. Ummah Business Market (UBM) also fosters a new attitude of society towards the economy and society, namely care, safe, and sharia.

Monetary Policy Targets and Macroeconomic Equilibrium. Some Theoretical Remarks

Purpose: The article attempts to systematize the strategies undertaken by individual countries (groups of countries) after the 2007+ crisis with regard to stabilizing prices and supporting economic recovery. It is about highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of particular types of strategies as well as opportunities and threats related to their implementation. Methodology: In the theoretical analysis, three types of economies were distinguished, using as a criterion the orientation of a given economy towards securing price stability or supporting economic recovery. The classical dynamized AD-AS model, commonly used in macroeconomics, and the SWOT analysis were used as a research tool. Findings: The basis for differences in the approach of economic authorities of individual countries to the problem of stabilizing prices or supporting economic recovery is the mandate of the central bank. Depending on the type of strategy implemented by the central bank, individual countries and groups of countries react diametrically to exogenous shocks, which results in different results in terms of economic growth and employment. Practical Implications: The results can be utilized by central authorities (central banks) in formulating assumptions and forecasts of monetary policy. Originality / Value: The paper contains an original division of countries / groups of countries due to their orientation in the field of medium-term stabilization policy. The analyzes of these countries are also original, having no equivalent in the world literature on this subject.

Structural Changes and Sustainable Economic Development of the Republic of Serbia in a Pandemic

The challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic are important and relevant for sustainable development. The aim of this chapter is to review the existing model of economic development, because the COVID-19 pandemic has called into question the effects of structural changes in the economy and manufacturing industry in Serbia. The main contribution of this chapter is the review of development results which show that Serbia is in the process of economic recovery, but that it has not yet embarked on the path of sustainable economic development due to numerous structural problems. Serbia has experience with unsustainable economic development, and this is a strong argument in favor of sustainable concept implementation. In addition, this chapter provides empirical research on structural and technological changes. The obtained results can be used by economic and industrial policy makers to influence the consequences of COVID-19 and to avoid the slowdown of structural reforms. There will be numerous economic, environmental, social, and especially health challenges whose solutions must be sustainable.

Evaluation of economic recovery capability under the background of COVID-19: application of a big data information processing model

In order to promote local economic recovery under the COVID-19 pandemic, this paper first constructs a big data information processing model, then measure the growth of GDP and fiscal revenue driven by consumption, investment and export in Guangdong province. The measurement results show that under the stimulus of consumption, investment and export of the same intensity, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Foshan perform better in the GDP index, while Shenzhen, Shaoguan and Qingyuan perform better in the fiscal revenue index. To this end, local governments should give priority to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, Shaoguan and Qingyuan to take effective economic stimulus measures to achieve faster growth in GDP and fiscal revenue. The research results are of practical significance for guiding local governments to implement precise policies to promote the process of economic recovery.
